April 4th. Chira town. The umbrella corporation moved its laboratory in the dead of night underneath the town. After hiring a new staff and transferring all of the data from their previous labs the new scientist begin work on the T-Virus again. To ensure safety from unexpected accidents new employees are given the number to the S.T.A.R.S. agency and are notified of panic rooms that bring in fresh air from the surface to make sure no chemicals are inhaled as they wait for rescue. In each panic room there is a phone with a direct connection to the agency. Making sure they are not understaffed, the S.T.A.R.S. agency has begun recruiting new officers and giving them VR training in case the T-Virus spread once more and to make extractions and quarantines more quickly and efficiently. While things seem to be going well in the lab, trouble and the umbrella corp. are never too far apart. A double agent has infiltrated the lab and has broken several vials full of different experiments. Unfortunately for everyone one of the vials was an unmarked T-Virus vial and it has begun to spread. A lucky few have time to make it to the panic rooms before it’s too late. Others will have to live another nightmare caused by the umbrella corp.

Bio: One of the youngest agents to ever apply to S.T.A.R.S. Jonny passed the written portion and proved himself more than capacble of being an agent. Having just joined and yet to rise above the ranks he is in line for VR training but eagerly awaits the chance to hit the feild and take on bigger missions and make his name known.

Skills: Basic survival training, able to fire accurately under pressure, basic stealth maneuvers.

He had worked there and done a great job until it all began once again.
Weapons: A standard 9mm handgun that he customized on his own and his assault rifle thats kept in his locker since he never really had use for it.

Another long night dreaded on as Steve was sitting alone in a bar, drinking hennesy in a small glass. He sits there as the bartender stood behind the counter, cleaning the dirty glasses as he listens to the radio

Recent reports lately show that residents of Chira have recieved news of people being bitten from derenged people. An epidemic of sorts is supposedly being warned............

Steve puts his head down as he ignores the news being said by the radio

"Ughhhh. Ive been to 3 towns for the past 4 days and nothing ever seems to catch my interest. Man am I hungry....." Steve said as he got up to take a piss

While he gets up to walk towards the restroom..... a middle aged man enters the bar, with a bandaged up hand. He takes seat at the bar as he orders a drink

"Hey barkeep, let me have a shot of whiskey" The man told the bartender

"Coming right up boss" said the barkeep as he reached for a glass he just cleaned and filled it up with whiskey

"Hey did you hear? Seems that theres some time of problem going on in town. Something about people biting each other, something like that" The barkeep said as he gave the cup to the middle aged man

"Yea, just a few minutes ago, I was filling up gas for my truck when some crazy guy bit my hand. I punched him off of me and I took off. That son of a b***h caught me good too" The man rubbed his bandaged

Steve returns back to his seat when he notices his drink was finished.

"Hey can I have another refill here" Steve points to the glass

"Hey buddy, I think you had just about enough" Says the barkeep

Steve picks up the glass and throws it across the room

"Ill tell you when Ive had enough" As he gets out of his seat, he starts to head for the door when a huge thud was heard through out the whole bar

Another night of basic training. Jonny was running laps when the alarm went off and he grabbed his training pistol. Several card board cut outs of criminals popped out and Jonny shot all of them with a disarming shot without wasting a single bullet. He was used to the exercise and smirked as he blew his gun to cool off as his instructor walked over to him.

"Jonny Marshall......20 criminals, 2 civilians....everyone shot in the hand. Jonny you need to calm down and stop being cocky."

Jonny sighed as he saw two civilians he thought were criminals were actually a couple holding hands as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry sir. I will do better next time." He said as he sheathed his training gun and walked to the locker room. He changed out of his gym uniform to his black trench coat, black jeans, and black and white converses. He then walked ot his room and laid on his bed as he watched some tv.

"Man...I would have had it to.....not like I fatally wounded anyone. Plus it could have been a disguise." He said to himself as he watched comedy central and laughed a bit at a random comedian. Before long he took a shower and changed into just boxers before falling asleep with the tv on.

It was the in the early morning as Jace had just awakened. He threw his blanket off of him and headed straight to the bathroom to shower. He stood there about ten to fifteen minutes before coming out and throwing on his Security outfit and making sure his 9mm handgun was loaded. He pushed open his room door and entered the hallways where he saw a few Scientist passing by. Jace waved hello as they greeted him as well. He then made his way to the elevator and pushed it to B12. He arrived at B12 within seconds as he was greeted by a young good looking lady.
She was about 24 with a nice looking body but Jace knew he shouldn’t be focus on that but what could he do. He had to stare at her. She then said “We’ll it’s good to see you Jace. You know the drill, stay out here and make sure nobody comes in.” Jace nodded as she came close to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and said “Don’t forget about dinner at my place.” She smiled and went inside the room. Jace was glad she reminded him cause he had forgotten.
He stood guard for rather some time as he began to peer out the window into the fake world which was design to keep the people comfortable in their new society. A figured man came from the elevator and as Jace was about to approach him the man said “Hey Jace it’s okay I’m here to pick up some vials. Jace figured it was nothing so let him go on with his business as he stood guarded in his post. A few moments later Jace heard a loud crashing sound in the other room which he allowed the man to enter about the vials moments ago. Jace drew his 9mm instantly and leaned on the door. He didn’t think it was something dangerous but it was better safe than sorry. Jace opened the door to see a few vials on the floor broken open as a man stood standing over them saying the end has just began as he charged Jace with a knife. Jace wanted to disarm the man but knew he had to react quick and shot the man in the leg to disable him. The shot rang out like a bolt of lightning striking down into the ground as the scientist from the other room came running in to see the crisis.
“Oh my god, what has he done.”
Jace looked a bit puzzled then said “What do you mean?”
The scientist then replied “He broke open the T-Virus and now it’s spreading through the vents. It’s beginning all over again.”
The man then stood up once more as Jace put a shot into his head and suddenly the alarms went off saying all personals head to the panic room. This isn’t a drill. A drone then appeared from the top of the room and shot two of the scientist right beside Jace and the computer voice then said “All infected shall be eliminated or concealed within this lab.” Jace didn’t stop to think once he heard that. He threw on a gas mask from the cabinet within the room and headed for the stairs because he knew the elevator would be jammed packed. Jace ran up the stairs and started to make his way to B1 towards the panic room. He kicked opened the door that lead into B1 to see a few people lying down with their necks having open wounds and blood all over the floor. Jace held out his gun pointed forward as he say a man leaning on the flooring biting into another person.

“What the hell is going on here?” The man turned and rushed at Jace in a fast pace as Jace shot the man in his forehead dropping him instantly. Jace didn’t have time to rethink of what he had just done but he ran straight towards the panic room and opened the door that lead through the warehouse and then into the panic room. It was a huge mistake opening that door because he saw people fighting off other people that just seemed so lifeless. Jace made a straight rush for the panic room as he made it to the computer to open up the panic room as he sent a S.O.S signal to the S.T.A.R.S. Jace then watched the panic room door open as he went straight in and started typing into the control panel to close it as he watched people die right in front of his eyes. Jace was completely scared and paranoid as he watched man make a lunge for him but the doors just closed in time. Jace sighed with relief as he laid down on the floor thinking what the hell just happened here as he awaited a respond from the agency.

The alert went off while Jonny slept and one of his supierors woke him up. It was his favorite superior due to the fact she was beautiful and she was kind to him. She shook him and caused him to wake up as he yawned and looked at her. "Mmmmm......What is it Ma'am.........Its.........2am......or pm......I don't know"

She chuckled as she got his guns and clothing. "Rise and shine soldier. Your first mission is today. Simple investigation and then you can leave."

Jonny yawned as he got dressed and sheathed his guns in their holsters before getting up and walking with her to the hanger where a chopper was waiting for him.

"Your going to to go to Chira and go to where a warning signal was set off a few seconds ago. Your to find the cause, deal with the situation and radio home base when your ready for exraction." She said to him as he got into the chopper and he nodded as she winked at him. "Dinner at my place when your done." he said with a slight giggle before walking off and left him with a blush.

He read up on his location as he was flown to to see what the problem was and looked at his glock 11 as he thought about his situation. He was a bit nervous and excited to be out in the feild even though he had yet to recieve any VR training and smiled a bit at the fact he was chosen. Once he reached the destination he threw a rope down and grappled down to the surface.

As he reached the surface he unhooked himself and signaled the chopper to take off. Once it was gone he walked up to what seemed ot be the entrance and pressed a button on what seemed to be the intercom. "S.T.A.R.S. recruit Jonny Marshall. Open up so I can investigate the distress call." He said as he then waited with his badge in hand and his glock in the other. He didn't feel safe for some reason. He thought it just a nervous reaction due to the fact it was his first mission and shrugged it off.

The bartender walks around the counter as he stands over the the fallen stranger.

"Hey, are you okay? whats wrong?" Said the barkeep as he examined the man

Suddenly out of nowhere, the man grabs and bites the bartenders ankle

ARGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The bartender stumbles and falls to the ground. Steve walks up to the bartender as he lifts him up on his shoulder.

"Take me behind the counter. I have to get something" The bartender slowly regains his composure. He grabs a shotgun that was hidden under the register. he limps to the fallen man and cocks the gun, aiming it right at his head.

"Ill teach you to bite me you son of a b***h" Said the barkeep, preparing to pull the trigger

Steve stood there shocked and in disbelief at what just happened, when suddenly the stranger starts to stand on his feet. Steve face goes blank as if he sees a ghost

"What the ******** is wrong with his face" Steve says as he starts to back away from the stranger.

"What the hell...... his Face..... its all...." Before the bartender finishes his sentence

Haaaaaaaaa.... the stranger hissed. He turns to the bartender out of surprise and attacks him, making the barkeep shoot off once in the air as he falls to the ground.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHH-HELP ME" The bartender yells as the stranger starts to bite and eats his flesh.

Steve looks in horror as the barkeep is eaten alive right in front of him.

"What the hell is going on here man?" Steve says with a sense of fear in his voice

The stranger stops biting and eating the bartender........ he slowly gets up and turns to Steve

Haaaaaaaaaaaa..... He hissed as he slowly starts to walk towards Steve

"Whoa.... get away from me. Im warning you. Ill cut you man" Steve takes out his stiletto knife and starts to walk backwards when he bumps into a nearby stool. Startled, he jumps and moves to his left to avoid any other obstacles that might be in the way. Just when he moved, the zombie lunged at him, not aware of what happened, Steve falls hard to the floor. As he starts struggling with the zombie, Steve notices that he dropped his knife.

"s**t, I need to grab it quick or else im gonna die here" Steve says with a scared look on his face as he battles for his life. He sees that his knife is near the stool that he bumped into a second ago. He pushed the zombie off him with all his strength, reaches for the knife and forced it into the zombie's neck. Blood starts to quickly splurt out as the zombie drops dead to the floor.

"Oh my god. What just happened here? I just came here for a drink... to.... and to look for Claire. H..... Ho....How did i get caught up in this?" Steve said as he slowly stood up on his own two feet. Checking for any injuries

"Well, at least thats done with. I better head out of here before i run into anymore trouble" Steve said as he fixed himself calmly, he starts to head for the door.

Ughhhhhhhhh..... A low moaning was heard. Steve turned to see that the bartender turned into a zombie also. He gets up from the floor, blood dripping from his torso and mouth.

Steve looks on the floor and notices the shotgun that the barkeep pulled out from the register. He picks it up and cocks the barrel.

"Looks like things just got a little bit worse"

Jace finally stood up and paced back and forth from the panic room trying to figure out what the hell had just happened. He wasn’t sure if help would come and figure to give up on it because even if it did they wouldn’t be able to make it to the bottom floor. Jace opened up the control panels once more and saw people laying down on the floor motionless and blood everywhere. What the hell happened here?

Jace then debated whether to open the door or not. He made sure he had a loaded gun in which case he did. He pinned himself on the wall and press the open button on the panel which opened the door. Jace walked through it and stood there in front of the panic room deciding where to go. He had never dealt with something like this and was completely caught off guard.

He heard the door open and was horrified at the sight behind the metal doors. There were several corpses of people, some in better shape than others. Jonny almost threw up as he saw a man tore completely open as he readied his gun. He didn't know what caused the massacre but was determined to not let it get him. Jonny grabbed his radio and changed it to the emergency channel.

"Control this is new recruit Jonny Marshall and things have escalated at the scene. This is a code black. I repeat a code black. Requesting assistance and evacuation of the entire town."

He let go of the radio to get a response but only static was heard. He switched through all the channels for his base and all turned up dead. He gritted his teeth as he walked into the lab. His only hope for contact would be the radio room in the lab, but to get there we would need to find a survivor who wasn't hostile. As he walked towards the elevator he switched though radio stations to see if anyone would respond.

"Attention. Any surviving members in this area proceed to your nearest radio and contact me. My channel is 231.8. I repeat my channel is 231.8. If there any survivors contact me at once. I am making me way to the bottom floor via elevator." He said calmly as he readied his glock 11 and pressed the button to get the elevator. He aimed his gun at the door to make sure he would have the element of surprise. If anything came through the elevator he would have the first shot or could take evasive maneuvers. As the elevator got close Jonny could feel his heart pound. This wasn't like basic training. This was real beyond expectations. This was a risk to himself and everyone on the town and possibly beyond it.
