I'm allowing my imagination to take hold for a while, and have decided to add a boatload of my chatterings to Crosshaven. Perhaps it'll spark some interest in our dear old guild, or at least contain my oddities a little better. With the threads so slow; I figured that perhaps I should just pester this place with random ideas till things speed up or I slow down.
Right now, I'm contemplating role-playing with myself...in a thread with 2 characters from Ai's profile that want to interact while waiting for other threads to get on with it. That would most likely qualify as my 'entertain the voices' thread...conversations with myself are always fun.
I've already created a thread that's just Ai's thoughts and such during the span of Crosshaven's fall and rebirth...I wrote a very very long post, at least in terms of my usual length, that I felt was much better than stuff I was posting last year.
Perhaps I matured a bit from the rather teen-angst pot I had been during that time. Which brings me to another matter of interest, who else has noticed a difference in their writing ability, or perhaps just voice/style.
I want to create alternate profiles that might be fun to bring into existence after some span of time...although most will be left for dead in this thread. Then again, if the guild continues to lack postings I might just start them up to bring up participation...that'd be a creepy guild if it was just one person in charge of, lets say 50, supposed members.
I'm obviously very bored, huh.

Perhaps I shall do a post of animals, with their view of Crosshaven and such.
I think Kyrn's perspective would be interesting every once in a while, especially because Kyrn's perceptions would be much more friendly, optimistic and such than Ai's.
Others would be random strays left after the whole doomsday and their experiences.
I'll do one on a stray cat, all black except the bottom pads of its feet will be white. It's name, I dunno, maybe I'll make reference to it's used-to-be-master's name of Slippers, and the cat's hatred of said name while including its name, something regal like Catrina Marie Syllbell.
The cat'll be an a**, snobbish and rude but hilarious. I just think it'd be fitting really, especially since cats are very indepent thinkers. (I really love cats, but kitties have always seemed more sarcastic than a dog.)
Hmmm, official profile something like this:
Name: Catrina Marie Syllbell, can be shortened to Cat-Marie. Gender: Female Specie: Cat
Description: She is a tuft of pitch-black fur, and bright yellow eyes. The bottoms of her feet are white, but only visible when she bats her paws around. She's got an American kitty shape; which means she has a fat-round head, stout body and semi-long fur. Her eyes are also very round, and gleam orange at night since they're yellow during the day. Typically has her ears cocked at to the sides, basically stating that she doesn't think you have anything worthwhile to say.
Background: Used to belong to a family before the attack on Crosshaven, and used to be known as Slippers by said family. As it can be guessed, Cat-Marie was very relieved to escape, although the whole living on her own and trying to feed herself can get irritating, especially when its cold outside or just plain bad weather. She now lives in the more calm neighborhoods of what's left of Crosshaven, mewling sweetly when she thinks she can 'obtain' some food from a passing person. Doesn't belong to anyone.
Personality: Cat-Marie is a snobbish jerk, politely put. She believes that she deserves better and that most everyone around her are simpletons. Determinedly believes that dogs are beneath all cats and should be kept on leashes. Is rather spiteful when angered and holds grudges for a while; it should be warned that her Chinese Zodiac is a tiger, and that means that she's rather aggressive and power-hungry...crazy little kitty in all reality.

Last one before I retire for the night (and a rather creepy not nice one at that):
Random character (least likely to take control of...does not think I can play psycho to well):
Name: Sylvia Woods Age: 17
Description: She has bleached blonde hair with blue eyes, and looks like one of the typical high-school populars. Is pretty tan, and hits about 5'1 in height.
Background: Used to live in ther middle-class neighborhood of Crosshaven, but was fairly quiet and well behaved. Did her chores, performed decent in school and had a good-sized group of friends. Listened to her parents and went to Church, and enjoyed country music, she would have been the last to suspect of being into drugs, parties and other dangerous activities.
Now goes about the slums of Crosshaven, playing a gamble with her life. She is whispered about in dark alleys as a black widow...except without the whole marriage part before the whole killing activity. The guy/victim never seems to get laid before he dies though, so perhaps she's more of a b****.
Arcane Power: None
Random Scene: Sylvia presses her back against the wall, blue eyes watching with disinterest as the random man from the mob presses himself against her. She digs her fingers into his shoulder and back, making a husky purr in the man's ears as he gives a drunken chuckle.
Those cold blue eyes stop watching him, relying on her sense of touch rather than sight to learn where his hands are. She arches against the wall, wrapping a slender leg about his thigh with ease; the school-girl stocking she was wearing slipping down with the motion. A small glint catches her eyes, and it's much colder than the look she has.
Her eyes are almost dead, frozen is perhaps the more correct term. It does not bother the drunken man though, for in his haze of drink he only sees the potential of what she can offer, and his hormones take over the rest...
He makes no sound as he slides down and slumps to the floor. Sylvia just hums a little, and a light has flickered into her eyes, more dangerous than the ice that had previously dominated those pupils.
Left hand dripping blood as it clutches the previously hidden kitchen knife; Sylvia searches the man's pockets and finds twenty dollars.
"Well, it seems your life is worth more than the last..."
