he's in between ugly and hot at the same time, you know what i mean. I mean he isn't exactly heart dazzling heart but he isn't exactly gonk ugly gonk .

I find him quite attractive. I mean we all had our own personal idea of Edward and its impossible for Robert Patterson to fit them all perfectly.

Oh no, I'm pretty sure they could've picked an Edward that at least more than 50% of girls would dote over. Trust me there are a lot of girls who like certain actors, they picked one of the worst possible ones. He looks horrid pale, he looked horrid in harry potter -- seriously. If they picked orlando bloom, johnny depp... I would've been happier... even though they obviously don't fit the roll. Trust me there are actually people who fit the roll.
They did a piss poor job at picking the cast.
Bella looks too pretty, she doesn't look normal. Jacob I don't really like how he looks. Edward isn't 'dazzling' or anyone to dote over that every girl would think was hot (that was the catch, girls have to think he's hot) but as you can see there's like a 50/50 among fans of twilight that they picked the right guy for edward (that's bad ;D doesn't capture the essence of the book).
So on so fourth.
I could go on and on how they rushed this movie and how they'll screw up the book like they do for every book that has a movie. Yada yada.

when i first found out who was going to play edward, i was very angry and i thought robert pattinson was ugly
now, he's either grown on me, i've seen better pictures, i like him purely because he's playing edward, or a combination of them.
either way, i think he's hot mrgreen

When I found out that Rob was going to play Edward I was happy, unlike most people, I excepted that the Edward I thought of and all the other characters weren't going to look like the actors, I think, for my opinion that the cast is really good. I liked there picks, and I got to say Kellan was spot on for me as Emmett. Well to answer the question I would say he is very good looking, and not ugly.

Otherwise four guys wouldn't have shown such an interest in her, two asking her out on the same day. As for Robert, I have already given my view of his looks but there are alot of girls out there that think he is gorgeous, so they couldn't have gone too wrong in picking him. Give the actors a chance. Wait for the movie to judge.

Robert Pattison is cute..for the character Cedric Diggory.
I don't really find him attractive and his voice isn't velvet like how Edward Cullen's voice is suppose to be.
I find that he has too much of make-up.
Bella on the other hand, she's okay although I prefered her to be a prettier.
She managed to attract some other students and the looks of Kristen Stewert doesn't match the kind of emotion.

Robert Pattinson is the perfect actor for Edward. I happen to adore Robert Pattinson, and adore him 100% more playing Edward. He has the acting skills that were needed with Edward, while he had the looks that were described for Edward.
I think they picked the cast wonderfully. Kristen Stewart is a phenomenal actress, look at her role in Into the Wild, or even in freaking Panic Room. She's stunning, and Bella was supposed to be pretty. What we hear in the book, is Bella's perspective of how she looks, not how others percieve her.
Edward, is dazzling in every way of that movie. His acting is amazing, his singing, his eyes, his hair, and so much more. And not only that, but there is no way in all hell that anyone could get a 50/50 on the perfect actor to play Edward. Why? Because everyone has their different sight of Edward.
Jacob, also perfect. The actor was everything I'd imagined him to be. I can't wait for New Moon. ALL of the actors fit their roles to me.
The only complaint I really had was that Emmetts hair was not curly, but due to a prior movie, he had to have a buzz cut, and it didn't grow fast enough. smile
And if Stephenie Meyer is happy with everything, then why can't we be? Not to mention, Twilight is just based off of the book. Obviously it's not going to be like the book completely. But they're following it better than most movies follow the books from what I can tell.
