Situated on an artificial island in the center of Mahora's lake, Library Island is a great repository of human achievement, said to house an original or copy of every document ever penned by the hands of man. The three above ground levels contain everything any student at any learning level in Mahora would need, while the below ground levels contain texts of a less agreeable nature.
No basement level lower than floor 11 have been completely mapped, and all basement levels are off limits to those not in the Library Exploration Club or those who lack special permission. The lower levels of the underground library are fraught with traps and magical guardians to protect the rare documents from would-be thieves. A magically-created oasis/reading room is said to exist on the very lowest level of the island, said to contain the original copies of every document believed lost in human history.

Though it was a place she never really preferred to visit, Evangeline trailed through the aisles of Mahora's very own Library Island. It was somewhat late, and there was nothing to do at the time. Maybe she would be able to find some book for her own amusement?

Touma, as curious as ever, had taken it upon himself to find some sort of entertainment by exploring Library Island, of course he hadn't ACTUALLY found the place on purpose, it was an absolute accident. And thus he went and explored, it actually looked like a pretty good place, since he liked books

Evangeline turned down the following aisle and took it upon herself to actually pick out a book on... vampires. It had always seemed to amuse her to read about what some humans thought of her kind. On her way over to one of the tables, she could not help but notice Touma, who had entered the library. "How annoying..." She mumbled to herself. She shook her head in disbelief, and walked over to the one of the empty tables, now taking her seat and flipping through the book.

Touma looked through the books, he had wanted to read a few philosophy and fiction books for a while, and so he ended up taking out about four different texts, judging them by their titles and sat down alone in order to read

Evangeline smirked as she read through the book; she almost even laughed. She had never really ever found a book by a human that did not get at least something ridiculous put into their stories of vampires. It was sad to her to an extent though. Such people wasted so much time to create books like the one she held. Some would be close to all the truths, and then, just ruin it. It was a pity on how author's filled so many humans with lies. She slid out of her seat and returned the book to its original location, now looking for something else to read. She tried to avoid the side of the library where Touma now sat.

Touma was for once too busy to notice anything or anyone else, unless it was loud and alarming enough. He had spent his time reading books detailing about the human mind and usual thought patterns. He of course read this because it helped when his target tried running away. He needed to know everything they were thinking in order to be accurate. Also it helped when he wanted to figure someone out most of the time

Evangeline sighed. She picked out another book on vampires. Though this one was much thicker. To think someone would right so much... She was bored now, and the books weren't going to help much. Knowing she would probably regret so, Evangeline dropped her thick book straight down onto the same table Touma sat at, then slid into the chair across from him. She opened the book, and began to read through it. "Kamijo..." She said quietly. They were in a library anyway.

Touma, a bit TOO concentrated almost pulled out his gun in surprise. Of course, once he saw it wasn't an actual threat he relaxed and took his hand away from his jacket, giving her a friendly smile "It's nice to see you Eva-chan" he said in a quiet tone.

"A little tense there?" Evangeline smirked. Her voice was almost like as if she were taunting him. Though, could she actually taunt someone who could annoy her so easily? Well, it was something to do at least...

"Yeah, Eva-chan's very very scary" he said smiling like always and going back to reading his book, strangely enough he was quite the fast reader too. He had already read quite a good portion of the book, of course there was something to be said about having 20/10 vision.

"Very funny." Evangeline muttered sarcastically. She lazily flipped through the book. By now, Evangeline has already spent so much of her time reading the books in this library before. Though the library was large, boredom came to Evangeline easily. She has already read through a large portion of the entire library...

"No." Evangeline slipped her book's page. "Books just become less interesting after reading them countless times." Her eyes scanned across the books writing, flipping the page again.
