Personality - Aphrodite is vain, very much so as she knows how beautiful she is, and a is, a lot of the time, rather ill tempered and very easy to offend. One misplaced word will have you sunk well and truly out of her good graces. She may well be one of the few members of the Pantheon to be actually married; she is by no means faithful to him. He treats her wonderfully, but she just will not consent to be happy with him and frequently seeks out the companionship and beds of other men.
She does however have a more tender side as she is well and truly affiliated with love, and in her mind love should always win out.
She is just for the most part and she can be sensible, but she is easily flattered, just as she is easily offended. Your best bet when dealing with this incredibly fickle goddess is to keep her very sweet and just pretend she doesn’t have a husband, it’s what she does in all honesty!
If you get her in the right or wrong mood, a good term for her would probably be “a massive orgy just waiting to happen” as she was more than happy to condone her priestesses ritual worship at the temple of their own bodies.

Family - Technically she was born from the sea and the blood from the sexual organ of one of the Titans. She was married to Hephaestus, but doesn’t really stick to the vows of matrimony so very much… in fact, sadly she spends as little time with her hubby as she possibly can. She had a thing with a few mortals, okay, a lot of mortals, and a lot of other beings as well, but the result of one of these was the hero, Aeneas. He was a Trojan, she liked Trojans. It was probably because Paris gave her the shiny gold apple…
Personal Quirks - - She actually has a very good sense of humour and does like a good joke. She also has a rather greater than natural attraction to mirrors and other shiny surfaces.
Anything Extra - - It is possible that one day she might chose to care for her husband… it just… hasn’t happened yet… dishy men just keep getting in the way, its not her fault really…
