Welcome to Hyena Turf, home of one of the many species here in Pride Lands. Unlike the lions, these creatures live in a very different life-style, relying on social hierarchy and gender specific roles to thrive in the Lands.

T h e .. R u l e s

Hyena Turf works a little bit differently from the lion prides we're all used to. The rules here are set in stone and if bent, the turf as a whole could be ruined. So please, I ask that you read and understand the rules before continuing further.

C l a n .. R u l e s

At no point are you allowed to create your own clan. There are four set clans and it will remain so until stated otherwise. If I see a new clan thread popping up I have a right to delete it.
Clans can not exceed over 90 members. This includes all pups, even if it is not likely to happen.
Try and pick a clan that your hyena would agree to being in. This is oviously not required, but it is more likely that a hyena will be drafted into a clan in which they agree with the alpha's personality and the clan's background. This is not to say you have to, but it is simply to help keep conflict down.
Keep conflict in the clans to a minimum. With hyena's it is quite often that conflict breaks loose, but try and keep it to a minimum unless it is part of a plot going on within the clan and the owner of the clan alpha has agreed to it.
Do not play 'clan favorites'. There are four clans, and many chances for different RP, so don't go stuffing all your hyenas into the same clan. We don't, after all, want one clan that has 20 members while the others have around 3 or so. Remember, it is often that males leave their birth clan to go to another. This is not to say you can't have your hyenas all in one clan.

R o l e .. P l a y .. R u l e s

It is recommended that you use a color for each hyena you role play. This prevents confusion if role playing with more than one hyena at a time.
No god-modding or role playing of another person's pet unless they say otherwise!
Respect your role playing partners and their feelings
Hyenas must respect their higher ranked members. Arguments with the alpha may result in punishment or exile depending on the severity and/or the alpha's personality. They most likely know what is best for their clan, so respect their decisions
