Majutsu Guild Rules
• YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST IN THE ROLE-PLAY UNTIL YOUR CHARACTER SHEET IS APPROVED BY CREW VIA PM. READ THE CHARACTER SHEET CREATION THREAD CAREFULLY TO FIND THIS MENTIONED. VIOLATORS WILL BE BANNED WITHOUT WARNING.
• All the standard Terms of Service of Gaia apply.
• Godmoding, powerplaying, or attempting to force hits will result in your character being deleted, and you being ejected from the guild. This is discounted only when necessary, and approved by both players for purposes of plot.
• Keep a degree of literacy. With browsers that have an automatic spell check program built in, there is no longer a reason to type poorly when you can avoid it. Grammar is your friend, be kind to it. We won't demand a certain post length, just try to keep a minimum on the one-liners if at all possible.
• Try to be active. We won't demand you post every single day, but we'd sure like it if you could manage every few days, at least. Characters left to the wind (unplayed) will be considered up for grabs after one month of inactivity. Canon character's shouldn't ever be left behind, but we understand real life happens. OC's will never be taken from you, or played by other people, but will instead be written off into a corner - or out entirely, if the need for it arises.
• Speaking of characters, we have a maximum limit of five characters total. You may play up to three (3) original characters, and up to two (2) canon characters. If you choose to not take up a canon character, you may have a maximum of four (4) original characters. If you later decide to take up a canon character, one of your original characters becomes forefit. Only crew may exceed this limit, by playing villains, or canons to move along the storyline as necessary.
• We have a very strict 'don't ask, don't tell' policy. We don't ask what potentially rule violating activities you may be engaging in privately. You don't tell us about them. This includes things that can and may happen as a result of playing out a romance between characters. This means keep them private.
• Respect your fellow players, and fellow moderators. Flaming gets you a warning. Flaming twice gets you a severe warning, and potential removal of crew status, if applicable. Flaming a third time gets you banned, and yourself kicked to the curb.
• Only OC's may become prefects. To apply to become a prefect, please PM Ciara Karnstein with a request for the requirements. (Note: You will be expected to have a modicum of skill at role-play combat.)
• New rules can and may be added at any time, as seen fit by the moderating staff of Majutsu.
