At first I loved the idea of having an Aquarium.. and then I saw that the Aquarium store is GAIA CASH ONLY!! AND! THEY DIE! So you pay REAL money to have an item for a couple weeks and then taken away.
Maple Story was bad enough with their $30 pets that die so you have to buy a new one every couple of weeks (I've never done that btw) But now Gaia too!?
Bullshit.
That's horrible. Reall shitty Gaia, real shitty.

OHH MYY GODDDD.
It seems like Gaia is getting so greedy! I mean, I'm sure they get like so much money from the monthly collectibles and then even more from the cash shop. So why do they have to take more money and then deprive the people who can't get Gaia Cash from the awesome items that they can buy?
That's what I would like to know.
and the aquarium animals DIE?

It costs 1.5 million a month to keep the site going. Atleast we got the calm that gives prizes for free and things from the daily chance

 Despite the fact that gaia takes SO much money to maintain, I think the EXTREME push of gaia cash is terrible. I myself donate a small amount (15 a month) for ie's or sealed, but I've been here since '04 so I've seen more changes than that. While I enjoy the idea of an aquarium (WAY more than stupid cars, or EVEN MORE STUPID layout change) the cash only thing is, essentially, gaia shooting itself in the foot.

Check out this linkI agree with what that user said... Again, GAIA just forces things down our throats and develops stuff which requires a lot of GCS items instead of gold. Well done, GAIA. rolleyes

This is my Theory of why it is cash and not gold.
Ok so you got that clam in there that normal gives gold or items.
You MUST have a fish in there in order for him to give you something right?
Well the better fish in there the better the items you get (And how well it is like 100% or what not).
See if it was gold you'd just get all your money back from the fish, unless you want the fish to be 1mil instead of Gaia Cash.
