Remember.Young Luke. Angst. One shot.
It’s been three years since my kidnapping, and I’m currently thirteen. I hate everyone right now, except for Guy of course. Because everyone keeps on asking me stupid questions, acting as if I’m six. It’s annoying, and I can’t stand such menial things they say to me, though the thing I hate the most is when they ask anything starting with ‘do you remember ____?’ It’s disgusting. I hate the word remember, it’s so overused right now, and I just, I want to forget what the word means, though by now I have remember it’s description in the dictionary.
Remember ri-mem-ber vb –bered –bering. 1: to bring to mind or think of again. 2: to keep from forgetting, to keep I mind. 3: to convey greetings from.
It makes me sick. People act as if memory is something to be thrown around like hand-bags. Guy doesn’t do that though, he just teaches me stuff, tries to tell me to be nice, but I’m sick of being nice to a bunch of hypocrites (I’m glad though, that I finally got the chance to use that word.) Though Guy does have a down-side about him. He’s a servant, meaning that he can’t stand up for himself, so if my father were to tell him to jump off a cliff, he would, gladly.
Right now I’m writing this in the journal that the doctors gave me, saying that I needed to keep in case I forget anything, as it would be bad then. I don’t care if people find this, as they can’t do anything to me. Besides, I hide this thing in places that people would never guess to look.
-Luke fon Fabre, Gnomeday, luna-redecon.
I get up from my place on the bed, pace over to my drawer, and swiftly place my journal underneath the light-weight piece of furniture. I turn to my room, it still feels odd, but I don’t care, I just ignore it, as I always do. I walk out of my small portable room, being revealed to by the sunlight and maids. There’s a small table by my door, and I sit on it, as I don’t want to do anything, but my parents would complain if I was still in my room, as they feel that I should be outside, and for some reason, there is a part of me that doesn’t want to, a certain rebellious part of me.
I sit, watching maids do there work, guards huffing by the door, and Pere hard at work, though all of them are waiting for an upgrade in pay. I stare at the sun, finding it hard to look at, as the brightness of it causes little purple dots to form in my vision. There's a certain noise behind me, and i, being bored as i am, look for it, longing to find something exciting waiting for me. I see Guy, clumsily fumbling over something or another as one of the maids gives chase to him.
I laugh at him inwardly, finding his female-phobia as a funny thing, as it's for me to comprehend as to why he's like that. What happened for him to end up this way? I don't know, nor do i care, i just want to get out of here, either that, or make everyone forget me, that way i don't have to deal with everyone's gaudy questions.
Those annoying fools, why do they never realize a problem until it get's too big? I don't know, maybe they enjoy there stupid little games. If they do, then i want out of here, maybe then, i can finally stop being there stupid little guinea pig, and maybe then, they'll realize how stupid, selfish, and spoiling they are.
THE END.

I REMEMBER POSTING A REPLY. Ah well. Anyway, I really enjoy how the emotion was portrayed here. I can understand what Luke is feeling just by reading it. You're great at delving into emotional aspects. However, there was a section with repeated "I" beginnings... Regardless, good job. I haven't played TOA, so I can't really judge past there.

IT IS AMAZING. though it's a REALLY long game, and in some parts it's pretty hard. Though i LOVE IT. But i've only beatin it like, 3 times. And that's because every game takes like, 50+ hours, mainly because there are 3 arcs.

It's not THAT long, but yeah, it's kind of long, the lowest amount of time it's taken me is 57Hs, mainly because it was the third run through and i had mostly ALL of the side quests done on the 2nd run through. SYMPHONIA TOOK YOU 60 HOURS?! D8 It takes me like, 30, if i rush through it, mainly because i'm AWESOME and can beat that game in less then 4 days if i play it almost non-stop.

Especially during the night of realization---which I call the event at Altessa's house. I had to go out, and since I couldn't save, I just left it on. ;3

And then i would do things over again.

i can't beleive that you still haven't played ToA.
PS2's are really cheep these days, so if you don't have one, it's easy to get one.

I was thinking of getting a PS2 for DDR, but I haven't come around to doing so yet. And plus, there's no guarantee that ToA will be at the game store crying

I do want to play it, dammit. 2: True, true, but it's hard to make internet purchases in my family. I'll see though, because we've done it before. 3: THANKIES :3 4: I was reading our slots IM...even though it wasn't 58943805 days after, I still lol'ed.
