[Suki the Fallen]

Something amazing has happened!

A girl sits by a window a book with in her hand a feather laid beside her. She looked out of the window pausing before she started to write.

Today...was an amazing day. I received a feather that I've been told something amazing will happen if I left it to bathe in the moonlight, but before I do anything else I think I should write about what happened to day.

Today Daiki has disappeared again. Why does he do that every so often? Twilight and Kiku were both looking for him which was bugging me from my work. So I decided to work outside. While I stood up I said to Twilight and Kiku, "I'm going out for a bit." With my sketch book and a pencil I went outside. I was heading for a place I use to go to to get silence when heard a humming sound. Confused I looked around looking for a source of the noise. Then I saw it a pink feather with pale green design. With one hand I pulled it out of the air. In my hand it hummed. A woman walked out of the shop that was near it and said, "Sorry Ma'am but can you give me that back? " She then explained to me that it was a Hououza Kodomo and how they were looking for a caretaker for it. I looked down at the feather which slightly hum in my hands and felt it calling me. I then turn to the woman and asked, "How much would it cost for me to have this one? " The woman smiled and said it was 6k. Then I handed her the amount and was so excited that I started to walk home, forgetting where I was going. As I walked home, Daiki appeared before me and asked what I had in my hand. His eyes showed great interest in that as when he was just a pup. I explained to him that it was a phoenix child. He seems so amazed when he heard that and told me, " You know they were said to be extincted. You are lucky to get to raise one so you must do your best to raise it. " He said. I remembered now how serious he sounded then. When I got home I was greeted by then timid Kiku. She smiles and the looked at the feather. She then called Twilight and Suzu, out meepit. Twilight came and admired the feather and Suzu just looked confused. When I told them about the feather they seem more excited then usual.

As I sit here now I remember that the woman had told me that this was a girl. I was thinking of a name for her all day but none seem to fit. Maybe Miki? Would that work? .....! Just now when I said the name out loud Miki hummed! So that's it! her name shall be Miki!

The girl who was writing this stopped and shut the book while getting up she moved Miki into the light of the moon. Smiling as she saw the feather glisten in the moonlight she then walked away with the feather placed upon the book.

Kiku's view point.

A girl walked up to the window and looked out it to see cloudy skies. She had angel wings in her back and blond hair. Kiku took the book with the words, Miki's Journal , on it. Taking it to a desk she place it there. Then taking a quill she placed it upon the parchment and started to write.

Sazu insisted that I write today's entry for her since she said she was busy. I saw her went outside with Suzu today. Yesterday she brought home such a pretty feather. I can't believe that it will turn into a girl. Sazu took the feather out with her today too. Last night I head the feather hummed. It was such a gental and cute thing. This morning I asked Sazu why does she brought the feather around with her so much. She said, "I want to see that nothing would happen to it. " I think she is over protective. I wonder if she'll keep all her attention on it once it does turn into a little girl. That makes me feel sad. Twilight was being mean to me again. I wish that sometimes Sazu can be my sister instead. Today I think Sazu went out with the feather. Daiki told me that she wanted me to write in here what I think. He said Twilight didn't want to write in it today. He also said that they were going to a lake or river or someplace like that. I can't really remember well what he said but it was something like that. Suzu has been her normal self lately she acts like nothing different has been happening. Well I am excited and will be sometimes sad when the feather reaches it's next stage. Also I truly hope that I don't get in trouble for writing here. It is raining so they should be home soon even though Sazu likes the rain she doesn't like to be cold.

She sat there thinking what to write next. She then looked out the window to see Sazu a walking to the front door and felt a rush of excitement to herself. She shut the book quickly and dropped the quill that had yellow ink on it's tip and flew to the door.

Sazukibe walked to the journal and looked at this then took her pen and added her own entry.

It seems that Kiku is jealous. Oh poor Kiku if she only told me. Well today I went outside to the lake near our home and I wanted to try and do a spell that freezes things there. It didn't work very well. It lasted about a few minutes and then just stopped working. When I walked howm with all my books and Miki with me it started rain hard drenching me. Now my clothes are quite soaked. Miki keeps humming today. I haven't told Twilight or Kiku that I named Miki yet but Kiku might had already figured it out. I wanna try to get twilight to write in here tomorrow since I hope she'll expressed herself like Kiku.

She then stood up drenched went and walked off forgetting to close the book that sat upon the table. Daiki walked by seeing it opened her looked at the first two entries and read them. Then closed it once he was finish.

In Twilight

A young girl with a dark blue dress with the picture of the moon upon it. She gazed to the blank page. She held a pen in her hand and looked at it. She had dark skin and blue hair. She then smiled at her thought and sat up straight and started writing.

This is Twilight writing! Sazukibe told me that it might be fun doing this. I saw Kiku write in this. She is finally showing some courage after all. I am SO excited about the feather Miki. I forgot she had a name just that moment. Sazukibe told us today that she named the feather Miki! I can't wait till she turn out, but I wonder if that she really is a girl. It could be a scam so I'm not going to be excited expecting much. And Sazukibe made me write with this dark blue pen, in which I am making so mush mistakes that I cam can't erase. It seems like that Daiki is being more mysterious. I want to see what I can find out about that. It's still raining here and it seems to be getting colder and the feather seems to like Sazukibe. It hums every times she's around. Kiku and Sazukibe seems to think that's cute. I think that it's getting annoying. Last night I spotted Daiki glancing at the feather while it was by the window. I wonder what he is thinking. Today Kiku broke a few dishes. She is so clumsy. Yet when Sazukibe tries to help clean it up she cut her hand on the dish part. So it's a tie between Sazukibe and Kiku about who is the clumsiest. Hey! I finaly wrote with out making a single mistaeks! Uh....never mind.

The girl smiled and walked off leaving the pen on the book page in which som ink dripped onto the page near the name.

Waiting

Sazukibe sat against a desk. She room was dim and she was writing by the light of a desk lamp. She prodded the lamp with the her quill that she uses to write with and sighed. Dipping her quill into the light blue ink she uses and then wrote:

Have you ever though when your waiting for something time seems to just stand still? Other times it seems like when your having fun time moves quickly. Or is that just me? Sigh I'm getting so impatient for when Miki can actually write her own entries and speak. Oh how I wish that would come quickly. Oh yeah yesterday twilight's page had and ink blot in it and it leaked though to the other page beneath the one she was writing on.

She moved over a few spaces before writing again since the a blot of dark blue ink was in the way of her writing.

I remembered Daiki walking up to us during dinner and saying, "Twilight did you leave your pen still on the page where you were writing? " Twilight blink at the question then suddenly stood up and shouted, "s**t! " Instantly she rushed inside her room where she had left Miki's journal. Kiku and I stared after her slightly shocked at what had happen. "Daiki? What happened?" Kiku asked. Daiki then told us that Twilight had left the pen on the page where she was writing and the pen's ink was starting to leek through the journal. Now that I think about what had happen, it was pretty funny.
