Meh, the only reason I even remotely like this is because I can talk to my bf in real time, but that's basically it. The whole stalker aspect is so ridiculous in the GIM...><

Seriously, HELL NO.
Guess what myspace got, not all that long ago? IM. Oh. Mi. Gawd. Gaia has become deathly uncreative. I'm fairly sure they stole the Panda Slippers from Solia. They look almost exactly the same. Not to mention Solia's Pandamonium (sp...?) came out before Gaia probably even thought about making panda slippers...

I like it kinda, since no one i socialize with uses MSN anymore, it's so much easier to talk on gaia like that other than PM's during discussions. However, they totally copid facebook on that neutral .

i don't like the GIM..... I mean if i want to talk to my friends, i'll send them a message because i'm never on at the same time as any of them.... but this is just me... i guess its different for everyone else.... oh and i can't even sign in on GIM

I haven't even used it. I don't want it, and I never really did. I understand that people can use it for zOMG! but I still think it's a stupid idea. I'll stick to PMing people, because it's worked for me so far. Half the time I send them a message when they aren't on, and I'm off doing other things when they are.

That's another reason why it fails. None of my friends like/use it so there isn't anyone to IM. Therefore, there is no point in using it.
