~The Legend of Zelda: Time of Turmoil~
As Link placed the final stone, a sapphire gem from the province of the Zora, the walls to the inner Temple of Time were revealed. The Triforce shone brilliantly, eminating a warm peaceful feeling to those around it. The three goddesses, Nayru, Din and Farore, welcomed the Hero with open arms as he stepped carefully into the chamber. His heart was pure, the Triforce reflecting the boys heroism and generosity. Suddenly, the light turned cold and harsh as Ganondorf entered the scene. His triumphant cackle echoed through the halls as Link turned on his heel, fearful of the new threat. His heart thumped loudly in his ears. Light quickly filled the room as the Triforce played a trick on "old Ganny", splitting into three pieces and locking the chamber once again, Link sealed inside.
This story takes place during the seven years of Link's absense, beginning six months after the Hero of Time's dissapearance. Ganondorf, wielding the magic of the triforce of power, lay destruction and chaos across the land of Hyrule causing turmoil throughout the races. The Hylians are experiencing frequent attacks of monsters into the castle town, an obvious attempt at taking the castle itself. Death Mountain threatens to spill over and destroy those that live in Kakarikio village. The Zoras are beginning to experience strange weather patterns as monsters invade the once peaceful forest of the Kokiri, and the Gerudos are baffled over their second-in-command, Nabooru's strange activities against their leader, Ganondorf.
