What is it with kids who can't follow even the basic rules of internet safety and Gaia (Do NOT give your age out online, you can't be sure who's on the other line.)? Do they think because it's soo cartony that it's safe or something? In the last two months I've seen a thread asking for an 11 year old grifriend, another thread asking girls 12 and under to pm the messenger another asking for boy slaves and still another where a 13 yearold is offering to be a sexslave evil
thousands of children go missing every year and these morons are making it easier for them to do it. sweatdrop
Sorry if I seem overreactionary but it gets me stemed, especialy when I think about the victoms of internet crime, children who are lucky enough to come home, however damaged, and greifstriken families...and those who wind up being found in the woods half decayed.
I'm sorry I just wnated to get that off my chest. My mule's beign staked by a girl I told off for being dumb and she won't go away. I'll keep the mule in stelth mode for a few days and then go about my merry business.

dont feel bad its cool to get stuff off your chest.....in a way i agree with ya.....i have my age on here cuz im about to defend myself if someone ******** with me.....but for those who arent able to DONT ******** DO IT

I agree that it's very unfortunate what's been going on and what goes on around here.. it's not something new either. I've been here since the place opened up and it's ALWAYS been like that. They try to avoid the issue by saying that this is a PG-13 site and that it's YOUR decision whether or not to give your age away.. it says right in the annoucements that you have to be VERY careful with what you do.
Bringing me to the point where I say... it's not the age of the people doing it that's shocking.. it's the fact that they make the choice to do it that's shocking. People should know better regardless of the age.
However.. it IS their choice and you can't take choice away from someone even if they could potentially find themselves in a bad situation.
I don't want to say that I don't care.. because I do.. what I believe is that there should be more information available showing what bad could happen.. because in the eyes of a youth.. 10 -14 they see it as innocent fun.. they don't understand that it could be bad (or they believe it couldn't happen to them) but that's only because nobody's really made them aware of the facts. sweatdrop

yeah i kno i hate it when i see little munchkins(yea i kno they're only like a year younger/my age but watever) giving away all their crap. you really wonder if anything ever happens to them. i worry and i tried stopping them but they just give u a bunch of cuss words and block you are something. there's no end. sad poor munchkins crying

I put my age in my profile but the bigger thing (and muc worse then giving away your age) is location.I put foolish stuff rather then what or where I live. sweatdrop you can't trust anyone when they say their age and stuff.but I think it's MUCH worse when they give their location! eek but age is real bad too xp

merely put the year I was born, I am 15, I know how to fight , and I am not stupid enough to let people know where I am unless its Lothar-kun, or people I know in rl, like LaConnie, or MiCaru. It makes me angry, and some of these people on here are pediphiles. My little sister, who is eight years younger then me, I am 15, (I know I can trust people on here), wanted to join. I was all ready to help her set up her avi, then I saw all the yoai threads, and then plus allot of slutty things like caged boys and girl, wild sleepovers, and I told her no. I made her cry, but I didnt want her to see those things.

Understood about the whole telling her about that things, knowing her, she would go in there because we told her not to. So that is why I decided to wait awhile, or until she listens. If I said, kindly, and in an asking way, she would go in there after promising not to, just to see why. BUT, if I told her nicely or meanly, it wouldnt matter, she would go in there just for spite. She is JUST LIKE ME....and that is almost a not so blessed blessing.
