In Alternative Press magazine they have a section called In The Studio
They have a small bit about what bands are doing in the studio
In their newest issue they have The Used in the In The Studio section
Since I don't have a scanner I thought I'd just type up the short bit for those that can't get AP or don't want to
"I'm suppose to be at the studio right now, but I'm ********' gangsta," says The Used leader Bert McCrakcen noticeably not at the Lair Recording Studio in Los Angeles and instead at his home across town. But don't fret: McCracken assures us he'll soon be on his way to work on the follow-up to 2007's Lies For The Liars-there just isn't any rush. "Everyone's real relaxed this time around and anything goes," he says. "Everything is completely, 100 percent us. Anything that we want to happen on this record is absolutely, positively gonna happen." Not that the Used didn't have a great time recording heir first three albums with producer John Feldmann, but for this effort slated to drop by the beginning of 2009, they enlisted Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Forever The Sickest Kids) and they're throwing out anything that vaguely resembles a rule book. "It's a brand new hope for the Used," says McCracken. "In the past, we've always kind of brought pop sensibility into heavy rock, but this is going to be all that and much more tantalizing and brutal. Our songs are 10 times messier and noisier than they've ever been." And if you're looking for a positive message, the Used are purveying on this time-sort of. "This record is about coming to grips with how much you really hate yourself and knowing that you can never hate yourself to the full extent, so you're free to hate yourself as much as you want to."
I don't know about you guys but I'm so excited for their new record

i can't believe its only been a year...
since Lies for the Liar.
But an even longer year from
In love and death, to Lies for the Liar.
and....
for The Used to In Love and Death.
But, no matter how long they are gone they manage to blow me away!
i mean...
Bert and Jepha. are sooo awsome!
