I like to leave all of my poems untitled. At least until inspiration moves me to do so. My poems aren't conventional and don't match any type of poem criteria but it's poetry none the less. I hope you like this poem of mine.

They say life is what you make it but half of the time it's not true.
Some of the time people choose your life for you.
Take a father who is drunk half of the time coming home and beating your mom because she didn't make dinner, or didn't cook it right.
Stuff like that is what changes a person.
Maybe it turns them into a serial killer or maybe they end up having a hard time trusting older men, or maybe, just maybe, that rare occasion when edipus syndrome kicks in.
Or the military they decide your fate when you join. Where you go, when you eat, when you go to the bathroom, and ultimately your life altogether.
You have a choice in life but to a certain extent because there is going to be someone out there who is going to decide a part of your life for you. Remember that when you picked on those kids in that school yard.
Because in the future he could be that drill instructor yelling at you in your face because you didn't clean that bathroom right.
