Tasks, Quests, Missions & Specials
Remember I do not expect you to be able to complete every Task, Quest, or Mission that is given. Part of growing up is learning about giving in, and defeat. Incomplete Tasks, Quests, Missions are in normal sized text; smaller text means it has been completed.

Tasks
These are avarage run of the mill chores.

Task 1: Get Turner to trust you!
Task 2: Punishment is starting not to work, he is rebeling. He misses his days of plays. All work, and no play makes for a pretty dull day. Remember, you must also reward for the good... Not just punish for the bad!

Quests
These are things that will structure how your foal grows.

Quest 1: Wide open spaces, and a bit of trust... You need to start working his old foal habbits out of him, and teach him new tricks.
Quest 2: Horns, Wings, or nothing at all. If he's going to grow, he's got to decide which one...

Missions
These are things to make you, or your foal happier; or bring you closer together.

Mission 1: When you come back, you find Turner has taken up the bad habit of kicking the fences. Deal with this bad habit and fix the damamge to the fences as well.
Mission 2: Turner, or any horse for that mater... Would cook or freeze in a stall of tin. You need to improve his living conditions.
Mission 3: Turner needs to find an intrest to continue to keep him out of trouble.

Special
Just something random, out of the ordinary that is extra special!
If no instructions are given then that means you need to PM me for further details!

How we are doing on our first task.

Well at first i had no idea what to do nd then Ceres answered alot of my questions. I want to thank her for taking all of that time for me just to answer some questions. This thread is not going to be that organized just to let you know. But this post is going to be about how me and Turner are doing for our first task. "Get Turner To Trust You"

At first Turner did not trust me at all because his other owner just let him sit there all by himself and he had nothing to eat or drink. So now he does not trust anyone but ceres because she took care of him while she was trying to find a home for him. And then she thought of me. So i have been trying really hard to get Turner to trust me and it is going really well. But there are a few glitches in the relationship between us. He let me ride him and that was really easy, but the thing that is really hard for me to do is to try and get him to eat. The only thing that he will eat from me right now is apples and warm milk. I am going to try and get him to eat a few carrots and maybe some hay and for him to drink a little water, but right now i am just afraid that he might not eat or drink anything else. If i start getting him hooked on just apples and milk then he might not eat or drink anything else in his life. So i am going to try and get him to do that. But for now we are doing really good.

I am really being able ride him now. this is very exciting. I love to ride him and he loves it when i ride him. And i am getting him to eat different foods then he used to eat. And he is letting me pet him and put him to sleep at night. And i can now put on his saddle with out him jumping around like crazy. And he is now letting me wash him and give him baths. Before he hated water and now since i have tried just getting little bits of water on him at a time he lets me give him a full bath now. It is fun. We play in the water together and he gets me all wet on purpose. I get him all wet and get him ready to put shampoo on him that he walks closer to me like he is going to give me a kiss or something and he shakes all of the water off on me.. And then after he is all clean he runs into his stall and rolls in the sawdust. And gets all dirty again. But it is really fun now. WE love to hang out together.

Turner's Favorite foods.

Milk is one of Turner's Favorite drinks. He loves warm milk.

Turner loves apples. He can munch on these all day!

He also loves eating grass while he is out roaming around by himself my a river or pond.

He loves eating chicken at dinner. This is only about once a week that we eat chicken. Maybe even once a month. It is only for special occastions.

He LOVES birthday cakes. Like when we are celebrating a friends birthday or my birthday or even his birthday. He can't wait until i sneek him a little piece.

He loves honeydew. He could eat a whole one of these. But of course i only let him have a little.

He loves eating raspberries when i am out picking them in the fields. He just takes it of of it's vine even if it is not ripe enough.

Turner's Stall

This is where Turner lives. He stays here very night unless we are out camping or having fun. It is nice and warm in here on cold winter nights and it is very cool in here on hot summer days. Sometimes i come in here with him just to think since it is nice and quiet. There is even an extra stall for some of his friends. The cera's. Ben, Jayden, and Kira. They all live in the stall next to Turner.

Baby Sitter. Or should i say pony sitter?

Tomorrow. ((Sunday, August 22, 2004)) i will be leavin on a vacation with my family and i wont be back until ((Sunday, August 29,2004)) So Turner will be staying with Ceres. Thanx so much K_H_C. You are a realy big help. This is the only weekrnd that i know for sure that i will be gone. But thanx so much.

::Now it is an RP of when i tell Turner about all of this.::

"Come here Turner...where are you?"

::Turner runs out from behind a tree::

"Hey boy.....listen i am going to go on a vacation with the family for a week so guess who you get to hang out with???"

::Turner looks around for people to try and guess. He shrugs::

"You get to stay with Ceres!! She will be really nice to you."

::But when turner heard the word "leaving" he thought that he would have to go to a different owner. Again and that Megan was leaving him::

"But Turner I am not leaving you. I will be back in one week. I am coming home. After ONE week. You will have soo much fun and i think that she might make chicken. And warm milk. So you are going to have so much fun!!"

::Megan gives Turner a huge hug.::

"Don't worry i am going to come back for you. I am just going somewhere with my family. You can stay with Ceres, her changlings and avilings. And Ben, Jayden, and Kira are going to stay here too. They are going to stay in there stall at our home. So they will be here too don't worry please i want you to have fun."

::She gives him another hug and then he started giving Megan a little nudge as a hug too.::

TURNER!!! I am home.

"Turner baby i am home."

::Turner runs over to Megan and gives her a big kiss::

"I guess that means you missed me. Well i missed you to and i hope that you had alot of fun. And you got along very well with all of the other changings."

::Turner nods his head up and down. And gives a loud nah::

::Megan giggles::

"Oh Turner see i told you that i would come home for you and never leave you like Mutaki did. See now you can trust me just a little bit more. Please Turner i want to be your friend"

::Turner walks over to Megan and rubbs his head up by her face. Kinda like a horse hug::

GOING TO THE BEACH...Part one

::Megan decided to hop on Turner, bareback and ride down to the beach where ceres told then to go. So as they were riding down there they saw the most beautiful flowers and trees and everything. Everything around them was beautiful. She could feel that Turner was very tense because he might have been a little afriad of some of the animals running in front of him. But Megan had no idea why.::

"Turner, we are going to go to the beach and find a flower seed and we are going to come home and grow it. But after we find the seed we have to find the magic tree. I have no idea where that is. But it is a beach we might be able to find it. And we are going to eat the fruit. We will be able to see eachothers thoughts. that will be the first step for us to be able to understand eachother. Does that sound good.......oh right you can't understand anything that i am saying right not. But don't worry. I like talking this way to you. It is very.......well....it makes me feel better. Because if i were alone right now. I would not be very happy. I love being eith you. "

::Turner could sense that Megan was talkin to him. But he just could not understand her. all he could hear was "blah blah blah" But he knew that it was directed towords him. So.....Turner knew in a way that they were going to the beach because he went this way just to go play before. So he just started walkin to the beach without Megan trying to steer him::

:: Megan decided to look at book number six that Ceres gave them. It had the most beautiful cover. It seemed to be moving. But Megan had no idea. She started flipping through the pages and she came accross a map. It was a map to the magic tree from the flower seed on the beach.::

"Perfect!"

::She put it in her back pack and started looking at her surroundings.::

::Turner started to get spooked because it started to rain and all of the liitle animals started running around his feet trying to find a place to hid from the water the seemed to be falling from the sky.::

"WHOA TURNER!!!!!! Turner it is ok. Settle down Turner......

::she started singing to him softaly. Her favorite song. That her mother used to sing to her. And all of the sudden he started to calm down. And slowly walk again. She stoped to so what he would do. And he started jumping and kicking all over again. So she started to sing again.::

"WOW you must like that Turner. See i just learn something new everyday! I can't wait until we can see eachothers thoughts!!!!!

:The rain slowly started to disapper and so did the beautiful surroundings. Megan thought that they must be getting close to the beach but then she started to smell......SMOKE.......

FIRE!!!!! Part two of the special

"Turner it is ok buddy you are going to be fine. We will just find another way to go."

::Turner started backing away from the fire slowly. And Megan turned around quickly and saw that the fire was closing in around them. She remembered that she had pack a few things in her bag. She had packed a couple containers of water. she jumped off Turner as he just stood there watching Megan as she poured the water around them in a big circle. And then she got out her small shovel and started digging into the ground. Making some kind of moat around then so that if the fire got any closer it would stop in the moat and not come any closer to them. Turner saw Megan being so brave that he decided to try and help megan. So he started digging into the ground with his hooves. It went alot faster when they worked together. Megan looked up to Turner and smiled::

"Wow turner thanx"

::She gave him a big smooch. The fire soon closed in around them and they were just in a small circle. So Megan leaned closer to Turners ear and wispered.::

"Turner. You need to jump out of this. There is a small clearing over there and we need to get out of this or we will die."

::She pointed over to the clearing. And Turner looked. He had some kind of sparkle in his eye. He had always wanted to show Megan that he could jump instead of kick and this is the time that he needed to show that he was brave and that he could come over his fear and jump over a huge glop of fire. Then Megan looked down into Turner's eyes and she could see determination. She knew that Turner wanted to do this but she did not know why. Turner slowly backed up and started to run. He lifed up his legs and flew over the fire into the clearing. But as soon as he landed he fell onto the ground in pain.:: eek

Turners Pain. Part three

::Megan quickly gets off Turner so that her weight would not interfiere with his wound. She rips out her cell phone and calls the fire department. They come quickly and put out the fire. The firefighters ask her if there is anything else that she needs and she asks them if they could find out what caused the fire. And that she might need a little help with her baby Turner. She quickly took a good look at Turner and everything looked fine other then that his leg had a BIG tare in it and it was bleeding heavly. She quickly asked one of the fire men to wrap up his leg tightly and they did. Then Megan started to sing that song softly and Turner started to calm down. And Turner quickly got up when he heard a loud scream coming from one of the woman firefighters.::

"No Turner you need to get back down you need to stay off of that foot."

::But Turner did not care he wanted to go see what was wrong with one of the people who had helped him. He started running faster and faster and soon he had a sudden halt. Megan and the other firefighters were right behind him when they stoped too. they had seen something no one has ever seen before. Well maybe alot of people have seen it but not any of them. they saw a campsite that had been caught on fire because someone had spilled a jar of gas and all of the people had been burnt and dead. Megan quickly got the idea that they should have a burial right here right now. So she quickly made four crosses out of sticks and they burried all of the four people and they said prayers and they left the in peace. Turner had been so determined to help that young firefighter that he had also over come his pain. He faught through that just to go see what was wrong. As soon as the firefighters left and it got quiet again Megan heard birds chirping. She decided not to get on Turner but to walk right next to him. They made their own path and they came to the beach. And they saw something glowing. They walked over to it and it was the..............flower seed!!!!::

The Magic Tree. Part Four

::Megan picked up the flower seed and put it in a safe case in her pocket so that it would not fall out. Now they had to go to the magic tree. Maybe the magic tree would have a cure for Turners leg. Probably not. So Megan took out the map from the seed to the magic tree. Ther start walking following the map they have to go through the water forest and finally they get to the tree.::

"Turner you can rest while i try and find the fruit up in the tree. And go drink out of that stream of water it looks so clear. Because i used all of the water for the fire. So you could go over there if you would like!"

::Turner walked over to the water. It did look very clear to him. He leaned over and sniffed the water and it smelt fine so he stuck his nose in it. It was very cold, but it felt good because he was so hot from that fire and it was at least 100 degrees out here. Even on the beach. So he walked slowly into the water. Nothing happened. So he took a drink of the water. It tasted so good. So he kept drinking it. Thrn he started rolling around in it getting clean. A few minutes after he was in the water some fairies flew out of the willow tree next to the water. They started flying over to Turner and hleping his leg get better. They took off the wrap the the firefighters put on and they put on a new clean tanish color cast. He wanted that color because of Baywater. He thought that her coat was so beautiful that he wanted to show how much he loved her by putting the color on him. After the fairies put the cast on him they wrote him a little note that said. It will fall off when it was all Better. they wrote him a note because they could not talk to him. Then they gave him some more of the water and they cleaned him and brushed him and made him look like a show horse.::

((Yes that is Turner he has grown alot since the last picture of him. He is now almost a man. LOL))

"I....al....most...uhhh...havvvvvvve....IT!!!"

:She grabs the fruit as she says IT.::

"Turner i have it!!! We can go home now!"

::Megan jumps down from the tree as Turner comes walking over::

"WOW Turner you look Beautiful!!...Lets go home and plant this seed....Where did you get that cast? Well i will find out soon. We will play pictionary when we get home. Look at this fruit Turner...."
