Like the title says. Tell us your favorite episode from any season of new Doctor Who and a bit of an explaination. What about it makes it your favorite. This can be an in depth essay or a single line. Whatever works. I'll start.
Highlight for Spoilers
Midnight There's something about this episode that's just so terrifying that I can't turn away from it. No monsters, no running, just fear. There's the claustrophobia factor. They're stuck in this close, confined space with something completely unknown and rather creepy. And this is the only time I've ever seen the Doctor completely helpless. Not just trapped or incapacitated but helpless, unable to move or even give voice to his thoughts. The repeating and then speaking in unison is both frightening and brilliantly done. And the acting is fantastic all around. When the Doctor is helpless, you can read everything he can't say on his face. It just gets me deep down.

Spoilers are white.
That was a great episode but my current favourite is "Smith and Jones". With the radiation in the shoe, the whole "I'm a doctor, too" business, the Judoons' Permanent Markers, that reminded me of the Vogons in the Hitchhiker's Guide who use stamps. I also like "Blink" because it shows that time travel can be very confusing sometimes.

My favorite episode is the chiristmas invasion. It was the first dt episode I saw (having fallen asleep before seeing the 1st cin episode) and I love all of the jokes and it always makes me laugh. Ooh I also love Utopia and It always makes me laugh when Jack comes back to life the first time and makes Martha jump. Or New Earth when Cassandra possesses the Doctor. Or the Episode Partners in crime as it is so brilliant. It might be easier if I said which episodes i hate.
They are
The girl in the fire place Blink

I've got to agree with you on not liking Girl in the Fireplace for some reason it seemed like a creepy Doctor Who fanfic to me. As for my favorite episode, I've always loved the funnier and witty Who's because the brighten my day. SO, I'll say... um... man this is hard...um... Tooth and Claw was funny as was The Shakespeare Code and School Reunion. There are so many I just can't decide.

Blink scared me so bad the first time I watched it. I was twelve, no one was home, and all the lights in my house were off! I was so scared I was almost crying. Yes, I know I'm pathetic. I also loved the whole wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey-ness of it. And Sally Sparrow was really cool.
Oh, and I do, in fact, have a t-shirt that says "the angels have the phone box." I am so awesome. xd

i would have to say any episode with the weeping angels, bu especially the latest on. you cantbeat the angels in terms of creepiness and sudden jumping. i was scared to go to the athroom at night for weeks. i just knew i would turn the light on and be staring into the face of a statue xD

Defientely the Weeping Angels episodes, all of them, though they get creepier the second time the Doctor meets them. That and I was afraid to walk around campus after these episodes because there are statues EVERYWHERE, plus a cemetary. Its spooky.

The Sound of Drums and Amy's Choice!
I ADORE the Master in The Sound of Drums and the song is pretty catchy. But it's touching when The Doctor starts to talk about Gallifrey and I think that why I truely love it.
Amy's Choice make's me laugh so much! I love the beginning when the Doctor keeps telling her how big she is then finally asks if she's pregnant after Amy said she was pregnant so many times XD. Matt is not David but Matt is pretty funny.

I honestly love every episode in the new series. I love Christopher, David, and Matt. I love all of the companions. I love all of the monsters. However, I shall pick one from each Season (2 and 3 parters I count as one.)
Season 1: "Aliens of London" and "World War Three" Season 2: "School Reunion" Season 3: "Utopia", "The Sound of Drums", and "Last of the Time Lords." Season 4: "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End." Season 4 Specials: "The End of Time" (both part 1 and part 2). Season 5: "The Pandorica Opens" and "The Big Bang."
