This is a picture of my color guard about two weeks ago:::

FYI:I am that really short one on the left!!!

I did another color guard last week, and there were three of us-I was the American flag.
No one took a picture of that though.
=(

Here's another, I am, once again, the FAR leftward person: [sorry if it's kind of big] also, the rank is old-about 6 lower than what I am. xD)

Here, I am the one in front:

Yay, shortness?

xD That's real kewl though Birdie! Not teh shortness necessarily, But the whole ROTC Color Guard thing! Liek I said b4, I was in the ROTC in H.S. for the USMC as well, BUT I didn't have very good discipline & muh learning disabilities got in the way quite often as well.

I would liek to join the U.S. National Guard. But I'd have to go without my meds during boot camp & that won't work. PLUs I have ankle problems and need prescription insoles for my shoes. And liek being flat footed, I doubt they'd take me cuz of muh ankle issue.

I fully support out troops, Just not always our country's officials decisions on where we deploy to sometimes.

Well said. :3
I am in the Naval Junior ROTC.
I can be any position on colorguard, and I don't really understand why I am right guard in all of the pictures...
I am now a cadet lieutenant, the second highest rank in our unit.
I am the front-runner for Commander next.

I do believe that in the Marines they administer your meds during Parris Island (or the California boot camp-I can't remember the name).

I also cannot join a branch, having a heart murmur, mitral valve prolapse, and a sleepwalking tendency.
biggrin

Thanks. >,<
Even if in the 1st picture Captain put us in Gilligan hats and leprechaun leggings.
xD

The top is newest-as you can see, I chopped my hair so I could wear it down, instead of in a bun.

Here, the ROTCs are Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Army.

Um...in color guard? Or in general Yata?
In color guard, I either bring in the national colors, or the state colors, or "guard" the colors. There's actually a lot more to it than it seems.
And those white rifles are heavy-about 16 pounds. Holding them at present through the National Anthem isn't very enjoyable.

In ROTC, I'm high enough where I don't do much. The C.O.s tell me what needs to be done, and I get it done by telling others to do stuff. I also have to make sure they actually do it, which van be even more time-consuming and annoying...

I think your hair looked nice up too, though.
Woo! Which reminds me, I got my hair cut today =D
-pats own head-
Mmm... I love how soft it feels after the hairdressers...

Stupid question time! What does ROTC stand for?

Yes, I love hairdresser hair. biggrin

Reserve Officer Training Corps.
But, not really.
I mean, they don't push real life military on us, it's more of an experimental thing.
Give you a taste if you don't want to join military, and want to know what it's like.
Or, better prepare you if you were to join.

We have real curriculum too-it not all push-ups and marching. >.<

I'm short too!
Until recently my height was basically stuck at 4 feet 11 and 3/4 inches for like three years lol
and thats not exactly average for a 17 year old but now Im 5 foot 4laugh

I love being short...only downside is finding pants to fit...because hemming them gets old

I agree.

I am 4 ten and a half.

Short people! -hugs them- Since my area is apparently the freaky radioactive mutant gene poll for extremely tall people, people below 5ft are just really weird. But I guess we have our fair share of that too. I'm short at 5'7'' T.T
No nothing to cry about, I'm actually really happy about my height. -claps- It helps counter balance weight and I can eat more even though my metabolism is a bit slow.

Yeah, amazing how laying off the sweets a little bit helps you loss weight. I lost 10 pounds last year. -claps- That makes me happy. I'm only 11 stone now. I'd like to lose another stone by April.
High five for sucky metabolisms!
