Some friends of mine are trying to organize one in our city and I've been helping with small bits. This will be similar to, though smaller than, one held in San Francisco CA. Tips? Comments? Questions? It's relevant so I thought I'd start a discussion.

My bad, Eureka California.

The turnout was great, some 400 people and many, many speakers. Four or five vendors and twice that many booths in total. Pirate radio, AK Press... It was awesome.
Now we're working on a grassroots newspaper for all those resisting abuse and coercion and working towards a stronger community. Things are going well, I feel that there are some good ideas going into it.
