Summoning Rules

1. You must at least a chuunin to get a summon.

2. If you want to learn a summon then you must find the original summoner and sign the contract that he carries and have him train you with summoning.

3. If there is no original summoner then you may pm me and i'll post you as the original summoner.

4. When you use a summon in Role playing then he must speak in a different color than you, it doesn't matter what color.

Toads

Great Toad Sage

The Great Toad Sage (大ガマ仙人, Ōgama Sennin) is the oldest and most respected Toad of them all, that lives at Mount Myouboku. Since his only appearane so far has been in a flashback, it is unknown if he is still alive.

Gamabunta

Gamabunta (ガマブン太; Literally meaning "Toad King") is the boss of the toads that are summoned. He is huge (about 100 meters high) and is summoned for battles with the biggest of enemies. His sons are Gamakichi and Gamatatsu. Naruto can only summon him with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra. Without it, Naruto can only call upon some of Gamabunta's smallest children. Gamabunta was first seen in the premiere of the series, where he and the Fourth Hokage face off against the demon fox. He is not given a speaking role until he is first summoned by Naruto in the month long training session with Jiraiya. Jiraiya pushed him over a cliff in order to induce life-threatening fear in Naruto so that the demon fox chakra could come out, but never expected Naruto to summon Gamabunta. Given that Gamabunta wasn't happy about appearing at the bottom of a canyon, Jiraiya quickly fled.

Gamaken

Gamaken (ガマケン; Literally meaning "Strong Toad") is a giant toad that was summoned by Jiraiya during his fight with Pain. He wields a sasumata-like weapon and a shield. He also seems to be wearing the same robe as Gamabunta. He is constantly commenting on how stupid and weak he is.

Unamed Toad

Made an appearance at the hospital when Jiraiya came to tell Naruto about the intensive 2 and a half year training he was taking him on.

Demolisher Toad

This gigantic frog was summoned by Jiraiya to help defend Konoha during the Sound/Sand invasion.

Gama

Gama (蝦蟇) is the first toad named in the series. Gama is a mid-level toad that first appears when Jiraiya is introduced. Gama is always seen wearing samurai armor in battle. When it it first appeared in the manga, it seems to strike the same type of pose as Jiraiya, as it would also seem to have become the personal summon of Jiraiya. This toad seems to be the keeper of the Toad Summoning contract scroll and unlike every other toad ever seen, Gama has never been seen talking, only quaking once or twice and mainly in the anime.

Ma and Pa

In battle, they are quite formidable. Ma is shown to summon a serpent like creature from her stomach and to be capable of breathing fire, and Pa can create huge gusts of wind as well as firing jets of water so concentrated and so fast that they can cut through solid stone. Combined with Jiraiya's ability to spit oil, these abilities create a huge inferno, though it's capabilities are unknown, because the attack had never successfully struck the target. Also, they seem to be very intelligent, as they quickly determine a weakness in the way Pain uses his Rinnegan. The two toads are also capable of very powerful genjutsu, by means of singing. This ability cancels out Jiraiya's lack of aptitude for genjutsu, making the combination that much stronger. However this Genjutsu takes time, and in order to use, both Ma and Pa must adjust their voices tones and harmony with one another, something neither of them seems happy about doing. When finally applied it attacks the opponent's sense of hearing and will completely paralyze the nerves and thus the entire body of the target(s). However it gives Ma and Pa and sore throat which in turn means that using it, will be a one shot technique.
Also, Pa has at least been confirmed to be able to use Senjutsu, a technique that gathers the natural energy around that person and grants him a high amount of chakra, and an unnaturally high level of raw strength.Both toads are considered old and wise and are greatly respected by all who know them well enough. However, in reality, like it would seem, they are both acting towards each other like an old married couple, like they are, and constantly bicker over all the small things while they should take focus on the bigger picture, as seen when they were summoned and Ma began complaining about the fact that they were going to be there all night and miss dinner. It would seem that only Pa can remain serious in even the worst situation, while Ma will constantly find a way to bicker with Pa, and at the same time does not have enough respect for the oldest and greatest of all toads, constantly calling him senile for constantly forgetting everything.

Gamatatsu

Gamatatsu (ガマ竜; Literally meaning "Toad Dragon") is one of Gamabunta's children and Gamakichi's younger brother who has a fixation with snacks.

Gamakichi

Gamakichi (ガマ吉; Literally meaning "Propitious Toad") is one of Gamabunta's children. He was first summoned by Naruto Uzumaki because Naruto couldn't focus his chakra during the beginning of the battle with Gaara. However, he is intelligent enough to be aware of the situation around him and realize when it's time to flee. During the Sannin battle, Gamakichi was accidentally summoned again by Jiraiya while he was fighting with Orochimaru because Tsunade had secretly fed Jiraiya a chakra-disrupting potion.

Key Toad

This toad watches over the scroll which acts as the "key" to the Seal on Naruto's stomach. Jiraiya eventually left the scroll to Naruto.

Toad's Stomach

This unique summon transforms the surrounding area into the esophagus of a giant fire-breathing toad from Myoboku Mountain Rock Inn.

Hermit Arts Training
After Naruto got ready to go, Pa took out the Toad Summoning scroll, which was easily recognized by Naruto. The two then traveled to Myobokuzan through a reverse summon by Gamakichi. Pa then teaches Naruto about sage chakra. To learn sage techniques, you have to become one with nature. After Naruto asks how to do that, Gamakichi tells him he has to die. Pa tells Gamakichi to stop it and after telling Naruto that he doesn't have to die, he leads them to a waterfall which will make Naruto's training easier. The waterfall is filled with toad oil from the Myobokuzan Mountain. He puts some on Naruto's hand and explains that the oil will help him use natural energy. He then explains that if you don't use enough natural energy it won't work. And if you use too much natural energy, you'll turn into a frog. Since Naruto is using too much energy, he turns into a frog, which he panics about. After Naruto turns back to normal(with a hit from Pa's staff), Pa tells him that not even Jiraiya could control the natural energy the first time, and would turn into a frog. He then reveals that all the stone frog statues behind them are the past failures who couldn't control the energy. Naruto says his way will be like the "pervy sage's"(Jiraiya) and that he won't give up. Pa is glad to hear it. After Naruto gets a little natural energy, Pa tells him to lift the stone frog statue with his normal chakra, but the stone won't budge. Pa tells him to lift it again with his sage chakra, and it is a success. Pa then remarks that Naruto is getting the hang of this faster than Jiraiya did, but after seeing Naruto almost drop the statue says that he's more foolish than Jiraiya too.

Hermit Mode

First, Jiraiya will draw additional lines on his cheeks. Then he summons the two Toad Elders (Ni Dai Sennin) which, apparently takes a bit of time.
When the toad elders arrive Jiraiya's appearance is altered (he has a bigger nose, a goatee and his eyes are like a toads) in this form Jiraiya’s strength and speed is increased. When Jiraiya transforms to Full Hermit Mode, he crouches and his body takes on even more toad like appearance: his hands and feet becomes toad-like, the lines on his face also become much thicker taking each side of his face. Since he was taught from the elder toads, he has formed in the appearance of a frog style. He will also take the stance of the frogs increasing his speed, power, and chakra by tenfold. Also while Jiraiya is in Hermit Mode, he will be able to use various jutsu that are extremely powerful compared to his original arsenal. It was revealed that the reason Jiraiya took a frog-like appearance is because of the training method he used to learn Senjutsu. The fastest method of learning Senjutsu was the Secret Toad's Oil on the Myobokuzan Mountain. It could help you feel and use Natural energy, but if you could not balance it, you would turn into a frog. Jiraiya could not completely control the natural energy and thus had a frog-like appearance when using Hermit Mode.
This was used in Jiraiya's battle with his former student, Pain. Although Pain's absorption technique made little use of his attacks.
Naruto later learns to enter Hermit Mode, albeit with outside means in his effort to learn Senjutsu. He seemed to be more skilled when training, being said to be learning faster than Jiraiya did. Unlike Jiraiya's Hermit Mode that changes his body to be more frog-like in appearance, the only changes in Naruto are his eyes and a few warts.

Senjutsu
Senjutsu (仙術, Hermit Technique; Also known as "Sage Technique") refers to the user's chakra created from spiritual and physical energy within the shinobi as well as energy from nature. This results in the drastically increase of physical attacks and jutsu. It would seem that it stems from the toads, as only Jiraiya and Fukasaka have been shown using them, and Gamakichi being the only one who is familiar with it. Other than Jiraiya, Naruto Uzumaki, who also possesses a large chakra reserve that enables the production of high amounts of chakra is the only other human capable of learning and using Senjutsu. Unfortunately, if the user puts too little chakra into using hermit techniques, the technique will not initiate and if the user puts too much chakra into the techniques, the user will start to turn into a frog. If a special scepter is not in contact during the transformation by a toad, the user will completely transform into a frog. Jiraiya, a legendary Sannin, had trouble using his sage form and he slightly turns into a frog. This involved his nose and hands and face changing to a more toad-like appearance. However, Naruto, who has just learned how to sense sage chakra, only has dark rings around his eyes and horizontal, slit-pupils, and a few warts. He is still able to use his sage chakra well, since he was able to lift a giant frog statue with his sage chakra but accidentally drops it prompting Pa to remark that Naruto is even clumsier then Jiraiya...

Kaneshibari Genjutsu

The Kaneshibari Genjutsu is a powerful genjutsu that, according to Jiraiya, traps the soul. In the genjutsu, four giant armored toads will control a small cube of water, with the genjutsu's victim inside. Since Jiraiya cannot use genjutsu effectively, two of the Toad Elders assist him. Unlike most genjutsu, this one is activated when the Toad Elders sing, similar to Tayuya's flute genjutsu. Jiraiya and the Toad Elders used this jutsu on three of Pain's bodies and then stabbed each of them with a giant sword.

Hermits Art: Boiling Oil
Using this jutsu Jiraiya can spit out a large quantity of oil from his mouth that with the two Toad Sennin can be used to fuel Fire attacks. This is a Hermit Mode attack skill used with Fukasaku, "Pa" Toad and his wife Ma. It was Ma's suggestion to "fry" something up for dinner, her providing the flames, Jiraiya the oil, and Pa, fanning it. So while Ma breathed a Fire Release technique, Pa breathed a steady stream Wind Release, and Jiraiya spat Toad Oil.

Cho Oodama Rasengan

Having been taught the Rasengan from his old student, Jiraiya eventually developed his own version, the Super Great Ball Rasengan. In comparison to Naruto's Great Ball Rasengan, the Super Great Ball Rasengan is roughly larger than Jiraiya's own body and can be used in one hand. Jiraiya has only used this technique while in his Hermit Mode and has since had it absorbed by one of Pain's body summons so its capabilities are unknown, most likely a extremely larger scale of the effects of a regular Ōdama Rasengan.

Hermits Art: Hair Needle Barrage

This is an attack where Jiraiya bends down and his hair strands turn into needles and flurry at the opponent. According to himself, this is the fastest attack in his arsenal, and covers a wide range.

Snakes

Manda

Manda (マンダ) is the king of snakes and is summoned by Orochimaru. He demands 100 human sacrifices after he is summoned. He first appears in Episode 96, summoned jointly by Orochimaru and Kabuto (as Orochimaru had his arms rendered useless by the Third Hokage in episode 79). Manda is very powerful, and able to stand his own against Gamabunta and Katsuyu. He is extremely fast, as he is quickly able to dodge and disable Katsuyu, and incredibly intelligent. It's also obvious that he's well known, as Gamakichi is afraid of him just because of his gaze. He is also able to shed his skin somewhat like a Replacement jutsu, which is seen during the battle with Gamabunta and Katsuyu, and to move underground.

Unamed Snake

This Snake made an appearance when Orochimaru ran into Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura in the forest of Death.

Three-Headed Snake

This Snake made an appearance when Orochimaru attacked Konoha.

Anko's Snake

Anko Mitarashi summoned a blue-colored snake during the Land of the Sea filler arc to protect Naruto, Shino, and Ino from a cave-in. The four took shelter within its mouth as it broke free of the cave.

Hidden Shadow Snake Hands
Hidden Shadow Snake Hands allows the user to eject snakes from their wrist of sleeve, usually after a punching motion. The snake are used primarily to attack from a distance and, being snakes, can cause multiple wounds on the victims body, or hold them in place and can even poison the target.

Multiple Hidden Shadow Snake Hands

Hidden Shadow Many Snakes Hands is an upgrade to the standard Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, a technique that creates a snake to extend from the arms. Hidden Shadow Many Snakes Hand can create snakes in large numbers to attack an opponent. Like the standard attack, these snakes are poisonous which makes them perfect for attacking, and can bind someone if a defense is needed.

Eight Branches Jutsu
This technique allows Orochimaru to create a giant white serpent with eight heads and eight tails. The serpent is large enough to attack most things without fear. If all but one of the heads are severed, Orochimaru can pull himself out of the mouth of one and use his Kusanagi Sword to attack.

Oral Rebirth Jutsu

After sustaining massive injury, or simply to escape from a seemingly inescapable attack, this technique allows the user to shed their bodies from their mouths, similar to how a snake sheds its skin which leaves their body completely recovered as if they've never been struck. The technique was the result of Orochimaru's many experimentations of his body to get as close to snakes as possible. When Sasuke Uchiha took control of Orochimaru, he was able to use many of Orochimaru's abilities, which includes this rebirthing technique.

Twin Snakes Mutual Death
This forbidden jutsu is a murder/suicide attack – killing both the user and the target. The user makes a one-handed seal with both their hand and the intended victim's. Two snakes are then summoned from the user's sleeve, biting both their wrists and killing them by deadly venom. Since Orochimaru is the creator of this technique, it seems he may hold the key to surviving this fatal attack. It is most speculated, that since Orochimaru is a snake, the venom will intentionally do no damage. Thus, able to counter attack Anko's jutsu easily with a replacement.

Slugs

Namekuji
The Namekuji ( Literally meaning "Giant Slugs") are giant slugs,summoned by Tsunade in battle.There are many different kinds of Namekuji.For instance, the Namekuji Tsunade would summon while she was a Genin were about six times her size and was yellow colored with round shape markings on it, while the ones stated to be summoned by Tsunade during the great ninja war are said to have been at least 7 times bigger then the other Namekuji.

Katsuyu

Katsuyu (カツユ) is the slug queen summoned by Tsunade. Compared to Gamabunta and Manda, the summons of Jiraiya and Orochimaru, respectively, Katsuyu is quiet and more subservient to her master. Another intresting fact is that she is the only Slug Summoning that has been seen in the series. With her Slug Great Division (蛞蝓大分列, Katsuyu Daibunretsu), Katsuyu can divide herself into smaller slugs to evade attacks or to serve small scale functions, and is able to quickly reform herself if need be. She can also spit acid for her Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid (舌歯粘酸, Zesshi Nensan), which is strong enough to melt through anything with ease.
She is summoned again in a filler episode to mess with a pair of outsiders impersonating Might Guy and Rock Lee. In this instance, she had a cold and the two impersonators, along with a clueless Naruto, were forced to help out (Although it is entirely possible that she was faking the cold in order to help Tsunade make the intruders lives miserable).

Dogs

Ninken

The Ninken (忍犬; Literally meaning "Ninja Dogs") are eight ninja dogs that Kakashi summons. All of the Ninken have a face-shaped design on their backs called Henohenomoheji (へのへのもへじ), which is the sound made when all the characters in the face are put together. Appropriately enough, children use this design as the face for their scarecrows, which is Kakashi in Japanese. The dogs themselves also seem to resemble other characters in the series, with two closely resembling Naruto Uzumaki and Gaara. They are mostly used for tracking purposes, such as when Kakashi needed to find Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki during the Sasuke Retrieval arc. He can summon them separately, as he does so with Pakkun, or all together. He can also summon them for special purposes, like he does with his Summoning: Earth Release: Tracking Fang Technique (口寄せ・土遁・追牙の術, Kuchiyose: Doton: Tsuiga no Jutsu; English TV "Summoning: Earth Style: Fanged Pursuit Jutsu"). With this technique, the dogs can travel through the ground following the scent of their target, emerging when the target is found and holding them in place.
In Part II it is revealed that most, if not all, of the ninja dogs can speak, though Pakkun was the only one to do so for the majority of their appearances. The dogs are also shown capable of walking on water. Currently, the only named dogs are Pakkun and the large bulldog named "Bull".

Weasels

Kamatari

Kamatari (カマタリ) is a small, seemingly one eyed, weasel holding a sickle with which it can cause a lot of destruction in a short amount of time. Its sickle is almost as large as itself. This mysterious weasel has only been seen twice for a few seconds after its summoning, once in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, and once in the final filler arc. After it starts moving, it can't be seen by the unaided human eye.
It is summoned using Temari's fan as a medium through Summoning: Slash Slash Dance (口寄せ・斬り斬り舞, Kuchiyose: Kirikiri Mai), after which it slices down all in its path with enough force to decimate an entire forest.

Monkeys

Enma

Enma (猿猴王・猿魔, Enkōō: Enma; Literally meaning "Monkey King: Enma") is the personal summon of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, and king of the monkeys. He possesses great physical strength and fighting ability, as seen when he fights off both Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, and Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage.

Turtles

Ninkame

Ninkame (忍亀; literally "Ninja Tortoise") is a large red tortoise and Might Guy's personal summon. Ninkame watches over Rock Lee when Guy isn't around. He hasn't been seen since his first appearance in the series, but he is seen on the front cover of Volume 10. Ninkame is one of the few instances which indicates that Guy can use ninjutsu in the series (Ninkame is summoned off-screen, so Guy is not actually seen using ninjutsu).

Spiders

Kyodaigumo

Kyodaigumo (巨大蜘蛛; Literally meaning "Giant Spider") is a giant spider and the personal summon of Kidomaru. Once summoned, Kyodigumo can quickly release an egg sac full of baby spiders roughly the size of a small dog. To perform Rain of Spiders (雨蜘蛛, Amagumo), Kidomaru then cuts open the sac, causing the rapidly hatched spiders to rain down on his opponent. The spiders will spin a strand of webbing as they fall, circling the opponent in webbing and sticking them to the ground. Kyodaigumo can also explode into webbing if hit.

Chameleons

Shiromari

Shiromari is a chameleon summon that takes the form of a castle. It was summoned over fifty years prior to Naruto's visit to the castle with Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka in the The Cursed Haunted Castle filler arc. As a last resort, the dying lord of the castle summoned Shiromari and had it devour anyone who approached. The lord died before he could release the summoning, and thus it remained bound to the contract scroll used to summon it. From then on, it devoured anyone who came close. During a mission to find a group of missing people, Hinata, Kiba, and Naruto stumble upon this summon. After being swallowed by it, they realize just what it is. While attempting to find the contract scroll that is keeping it summoned, the spirit of the castle lord appeared and led them to it, because the lord felt sorry for the creature spending fifty years guarding his castle, and wanted to set it free. The summoned creature is very loyal to his summoner, having protected his summoner's castle for so long. Naruto cut the scroll into pieces to send the summoned creature back, and escaped from the body of the summon with Rasengan. The anime does not show Shiromari's true form, but instead, a picture.
