History: Karasu was born into the Shikon Clan and was the child of the head family. Her duties were bestowed upon her before her first birthday; each child of the head family must become a guardian of the village. Her father and mother both served the villages as leaders of the clan, but were killed 7 years ago when the nine tailed kyubbi in one of the "forbidden gates" broke free. The nine tails destroyed much of the village and killed many people. The clans did all they could to stop the demon from escaping into Fire Country but none had the power to control it or cancel its chakara. Karasu was about 5 years old at the time the village was attacked and her parents gave their lives to protect it. She was later raised by her older brother (who survived the attack); Yuki who was 16 at the time. Karasu would be trained under her brother and learn fire, spirit, and summoning jutsu.When the time had come to go to the Academy she was shipped off to the leaf village with her brother for further training.
