THE MAP

Map will be updated periodically
It has been a decade of prosperity and peace. The continent of Azundrai has never experienced such a serene and most joyous time before. The war between the three regions has finally ended. The three Regions of Azundrai were all led by lords vying to have absolute control over the land. But in the end, their desire for conquest only led to their own demise exhausting resources and the economy. The three lords were captured by a conjoined rebellion by all the citizens of Azundrai and were executed. And after three generations of war, the peace that everyone yearned has been found.
The region to the north, Asura, was a region of arts, literature and magic. It was a prosperous region covered in vast forests and a great winding river that stretched from the Capital of Asura (Kattam) to the outer areas of the other regions. The largest river in all of Azundrai. Kattam lies center of the region surrounded by a barrier composed of a magik element. Only residents of the region are allowed inside. Outsiders have to pass through the cave of trials to deem themselves worthy of passage. The region is composed of all races from elves who reside in outlying forests, dwarven merhants from Devaen, humans and ancient races hidden within the land.
The Region south is Devaen [De-vee-inn], an industrial region that is mostly composed mountain ranges. Devaens hold their kingdom within the mountains. During the war, this kingdom struggled most as food and water were scarce and relied on trading precious metals, manufacturing weapons and machinery capable of flight. Half the populace of this region are dwarves. Their capital is Senolia which is allocated deep in the center of the mass of mountains that protect it.
The Region west is Tyria. It is a agricultural kingdoms with many farm villages that grow and tend to livestock and wheat. Grasslands and hills bless this land. This is the largest region in all of Azundrai. Not only is this an agrarian society, but it is militaristic as well. The size and their overproduction of food rostered up numerous of volunteer infantry to fight the war. This is a region composed of mixed races as well, though elves are seldom seen. Vampires are often found roaming the nights, though most of them promise no harm to anyone. The Capital is Horizen. It is surrounded by white marble walls and within erects a castle. A lake nearby that is fed by the Mendacci Sea further west is used to create a moat around it. Many villages lie around the castle and is scattered throughout the region.
The Eastern region is ruled by no one. Many scouts from all three kingdoms reports barbaric creatures. The eastern region is always darkened. Elves speak of evil wood. The Vampires mention rogue vampire villages. Humans tell tales of the undead. And the dwarves speak of wyrms that light the sky in flames.
Character Creation
- Pick a kingdom/region that suits your character best - A Race! Note that I mentioned vampires because some like vampires. And vamps don't necessarily have a bad connotation anymore. - Outlying villages everywhere! Create your own village. Make sure to describe though. Ninja villages, ice cream villages, power ranger villages... - Outlying forests everywhere! Create your own forest. Make sure to describe though. Ninja forest, fairy forests, pixie forests, tree forests... - The Eastern Region. You're a rogue? An evil character? Don't need a background? The east is for you.

Characters asikinari Name: Lazerus Nassor Region: Asura Gender: Male Race: Human Age: 34 Occupation: White Knight Weapons: Sol & Luna Sol and Luna are dual blades that have been granted to Lazerus upon the acceptance of being one of the four guardians of Asura. Sol is a edged blade with a golden hilt that resembles the sun. Luna is a smooth and curved edge resembling the moon. These two swords may be connected from their hilts. Abilities: Aurtrone has the ability to manipulate heat. He is able to bend light and make concentrated beams of heat into one single focus. With his ability, he is able to turn a bright and shiny day into a shivering wasteland by syphoning away all sunlight. This ability was attained from a High Elf Priest that had tutored him for twenty-five years. It is one of the few and most rarest forms of magic taken from ancient scriptures dating back to the creation of the world. Weakness: He is not able to use his powers instantly and has to take time to channel energy. Therefore he is limited to swordsmanship in combat, unless the opponent is at a disadvantage... Specialty: Lazerus is known for his command and strategies which he had displayed during the regional wars. Appearance: Lazerus wears a white shining armor that is enchanted to emnate a soft glow. On the chest is an engravement of the Asura Crest which resembles a rising phoenix. He also wears a red cape. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h307/asikinari/LazNassor.jpgHistory: "I am Lazerus Nassor. Commander of the White Phoenix Brigade and one of the four guardians of Asura. I was born into a royal bloodline. My parents were both distant relatives of the king earning me the privilege to take up courses in one of the most profound military academies throughout the lands. I had been weilding a sword since I was at the age of six. By the time I was in my teens, I had undergone vigorous training and fought many sparring matches, enough for me to be commissioned as the commander of the youth brigade. After many series of successful missions and tactics defending against Tyrian and Devaen invaders. My successes have been noted by Blak Knight Luzari who then allowed extensive training to be future guardian of Asura. By my mid twenties. I was a full fledged knight. I have been given an actual brigade to command against the enemy. "At the end of the war, I was finally knighted as one of the four guardians of Asura known as the White Knight." Personality: Lazerus is a clear-headed person who always thinks things through rationally. Being one of the most important figures of Asura, he is careful to strike a positive image. He could not turn down anyone in need and would leap to aid someone in distress. He has a fondness of diplomacy and would try to settle things over words than swords. Oddities/Other: He would often sneak away from knighthood responsibilities by sneaking away in commoners clothing. Lone_beast Name: Rein Takashi Region: Asura Gender: Male Race: He doesn't know, but he considers himself a human. Age: 18 Occupation: Travelling, not that he makes money, just that he travels a lot Weapons: Rein has a katana in his posession. When his town was burnt down, he found it in the ashes of his house. He also found a small orb that talks to him, telling him anything he asks, although it doesn't know anything outside what was in the village. He learned to use it from the animals in the forest, and from the small orb. Abilities: His abilities, for starters, were the reason his village had been burnt down, or one of them at least. He stroked a match, and he...lit on fire, the flame turned black, and then began to engulf his town...the orb with him has tutored him in using this ability. His second ability was to speak to animals, he found that he was able to understand the creatures that surrounded him, but he didn't get this from hearing them speak, it was like their words were spoken to his mind...he was able to communicate with animals by thinking back to them. His third and last ability, he found accidentally...or was it really accidental? He found projectiles being thrown at them, this ability saved his life, because the projectile was stopped with his thought, he harnessed, and used this ability. Again, with the help of the orb he found in the ashes of his house. Weakness: Rein gets exhausted a lot faster than those special races who have nearly a limitless supply of power. Rein's knowledge is on the thin side, and he cannot heal fast, unless aided by something else magical...so if he goes out, he's out of commission for a long time. If he is surrounded by water, unless he's on land, it can exhaust him pretty fast...maybe a minute maximum before he faints, and floats to the bottom of the pool unable to breathe. He can't talk through his mouth in any language, as he hasn't learned to speak that way. Specialty: If you've ever heard of him, because most have not, he's known for stealth, sneak attacks, and hiding. He's also known for retreating when he gets exhausted, as to not get too hurt. he knows how to use his abilities well, the one rumor about him that he knows is that those in the forest that he lives in, he either gives them directions, or may attempt to kill them off before they can do that to him...he's known as the 'young flame' to those who have passed through. Appearance: Normal form: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f174/lonelybeast/nice.jpgOther form: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f174/lonelybeast/dark1.jpgHistory: Around five years old, I remember playing with matches...my mom came in the room, right around the time I striked one...she yelled at me as it looked like I caught on fire...I remember seeing the fear in my mothers eyes...my house burned down, two men came into my house, and murdered my mother and father. The fire spread to every building in the village. Next thing I knew, I was alone...five years old, having survived a mass fire, and having no one I knew that survived, or hadn't deserted. I searched for my mother and father in the area, and came back to my house...not believing they were dead. I found a sword, and a small blood-red orb that told me how to survive. I fled to the nearest forest, and have lived there since, at first it was hard, because I was being attacked, by animals or other things...As I grew up, I learned how to use my sword, and about my other abilities...how I use them, and how to be skillful in everything I do. Now I'm eighteen, and thinking of leaving the forest. Personality: It really depends on whether you are a threat to him or not. If you are, then he's hostile, and silent. If you aren't hostile, then he'll kindly lead you through his forest, or leave you alone, if you need, otherwise, he's alert, yet relaxed, observing every detail of a new place. Oddities/Other: He lives in a forest, this forest unlike too many others...this one was not inhabited with anything but animals, and other people, usually lost or something. It is a particularly large forest, and he knows most of it all...secret caverns, etc. the trees are thick here, so if you don't stick to a path, it's easy to get lost. He also has one other form that occasionally takes control of him, he knows how to supress it pretty well, but it changes the looks of his body...and when he comes out of the transformation, he has a few battle wounds...if in dire danger, he will unleash it, as it enhances his power. No one, not even him, knew of his other form till the village was burnt down. Home: Rein's hometown is now burnt down to ashes. It was a normal town though, made of mostly houses. There were a couple of trading spots, and a couple of stores for other needs...mostly just houses though. The houses were kind of spread out, and there were one or two guest houses. The town in surrounded by forests. After his hometown burnt down, he found shelter in the forest. A little talking orb told him how to survive, this forest wasn't infested with demons, well...not too much. There were a few in the vast area of it, but mostly just animals like chipmonks and deer and etc. and a variety of trees. smittee Name: Cedric Faulman Region: The East Gender: Male Race: Shaper (Shape-Shifter) Age: 26 Occupation: A Wizard, delving into the arts of experimenting, and inventing.
Weapons: He has a special made blade, which is laced with a curse upon the blade, in which can be given, to whom ever is cut by it. The hilt is decorated, with the form of a black snake. Small, gold gems are placed as eyes. The sheath itself is made of the same material as the hilt. It is designed to look like a heavy cane. He also uses it as a staff, for his more potent spells.
Abilities: Being a Shaper, a shape-shifter prone to more devilish forms, he chose to only take forms of certain races, and so has blocked all chances of turning into any others. The forms he can take are of a worg (a large and shadowy wolf), a human (For their greedy desires), a drow (an elf that lives in caves and undergrounds), and a snake (From the ideal characteristics ingrained into this lowly beast). He also delves in much darker spells, than most wizards of his kind. He uses only spells of creating shadow, illusions and curses, and only dabbles a bit in fire magic. He also has complete control over his small amount of creations. (More information on his creations in his History.)
Weakness: He cannot use any other magic, beside what has been mentioned in the 'Abilities' Section. He also has a weakness, for wanting to find, and have complete control over, whoever he would desire. (In other words, he is very attracted to the opposite sex, but only if they have power.) He also has to be near the beasts he created.
Specialty: He is known as 'the man behind the scenes'. He never shows his face, unless he wants to toy with someone. All only know him, by the curse his beasts, and his blade, leaves behind, in their wake. Only a cursed few know of him. Obviously, from the use of the word 'curse' so much, he is mostly called "The Cursed Sorcerer".
Appearance: The man was about 6'2", and less than 145 lbs by the looks of him. He was wearing a back cape, with a blood red shirt and black slacks underneath it. His hands are gloved at all times. His belt buckle was a plain, gold one. He wore black boots as well. He had light tan skin, and long black hair, but prefers turning his hair white or a light gray.
History: I see that you are interested in my affairs. Well, I might as well tell you, whether I trust you or not. Either way, you'll end up upon my side in no time. I am a man, with very little goals in life. I am not that hard to please. I have watched the many struggles that have passed, and I see this 'peaceful' time before me, and I almost cringe at the contentment. The sight of all creatures pleased with their full existence makes me want to disembowel, and experiment on whatever is next to me, just to hear its call of pain. Although, I tend to do that anyways. My life was simple. I was born and raised. That is, up till age of 5. Then, my parents, like all good shapers, turn against their young, and try to make sure he's strong. I quickly fended off, unlike my once playmates, and was quickly accepted as 'important to the society'. My training began, to ready ourselves against destroying all shifters, who think that we should be kind to all, and take on forms more benevolent. It's almost enough to make me ill, just thinking about it.
On one of my hunts, for slaves and the sort, I happened upon a human sorcerer, long ago banished from his homeland, for daring to practice his, now my most worthy arts. Taking mercy on the old and wise man, I learned all I could from him. Having n more use for him, I then dispatched of him. I was 19 then. Being the first sorcerer of my kind, in about 8 years, I soon became leader. Alas, I was bored of it, gave the command to another, and went off on my own. Now, mind you, it wasn't hard to leave. It wasn't as if we had dwellings. Our kind migrate from woods to woods, uncaring about values, or even valuables. That is where I am completely different! I found a nice, wooded area called Dulnarc, which is to the right of the river north. It was a place infested with all sorts of worgs and things. No one had ever entered these woods on purpose, for the tales of a strange creature akin to the vampire race. Alas, it was only a half vampire, who not only had two personalities, but the one knew nothing of his vampiric self, and I mean to keep it that way. As long as he is not in need of blood, nor is his physical self in any danger, then he is completely harmless.
In Dulnarc, I built myself a rather fine mansion, in which I live out my years, and experiment with the nature around. At the age of 23, a happy little mistake happened. While mixing potions, magics, the small cauldron's handle broke, and the liquid poured all into the cages that I kept some wild worgs in. Oh, how they shrieked and howled! As I watched, I notice how their structure began to change, and in the place of their wolfish speech was produced the common language, between many races. Yes, they could still speak in their own tongue, but could now speak in the human tongue. It was quite facinating to behold. What caused more fascination was their physical form, or lack their of. It seemed they have become shadows, and could walk right through the bars, but as they snapped at a bone, I knew they could be as solid as any other dark worg. Their eyes were no longer there, but they could see clear as day. from their fangs and claws, one could see a strange liquid coming from then. Asking kindly, I placed some of this liquid into a vial.
Testing it out on other creatures, not wishing to upset these shadows beast, I foudn I had created a new curse, and a vital one in my life indeed. My sword, now the blade being covered in the substance, I find a new reason for my existence, and a better way to rid this world of that nausiating 'peace' always spoken of. This would cause the upper hand agaisnt the shifters, and would help me be feared, but still unknown to all. I could be feared, and yet have no one know who I am. And that, my good, attentive listener, is all I shall tell you. I can't have you know everything, now can I?
Personality: He is the imbodiment, of the belief in solipsim. Solipsim is when one believes that only the self exists, and other things only exists, if it intereacts with the self. In other words, he is the only thing existenting, and everyone else is only in existence, because he deems it so. He is stuck up, and basically a snob. He despises all things like shifters, unicorns, druids, or anythign that embodies peace and harmony. He is very sly, and tries to use everything to his advantage. Although he seems impeneratble, his temper can flare quickly, if ones words are used incorrectly.
Oddities/Other: He has an obsession with smelling a woman's hair. It has something to do with their scent, and his animalistic instincts. He can actually become furious, if he can't get close enough to do so, but usually hides his fury. Also, his hands are convered, to hide the scars, from a checial accident that never seemed to heal.((I realize that not all is written about the curse. I thought that I might as well leave it out, so at least it's a mystery. I havent' played this character in a while, so I'm trying to bring him back. If he isn't acceptable, I can understand completely. I will say that I tend to really get into this character, and may even sound creepy in OOCs etc. I also apologize, for the copious amount of writing, from Cedric's diatribe, and for the different color of text. The color helps me know the character immediatly, without ever reading who it is, just in case I forget. )) buggieray Name: Kalil Alya Lytl Region: Devean Gender: Female Race: She is thought to be elven Age: 19 Occupation: Weapons: Aswan, a thin, extremely lightweight, sword, the blade just under two feet long, that seems to have an odd attraction to shadows. Kalil found Aswan in the mountains, not far from her own village Abilities: Kalil has a strange connection with the shadows, she seems to listen to them, and coaxes them into cooperation with her. She learned the secrets of the shadows from the mountains during her travels. Also, she has some skill in healing, discovered during the two battles she assisted in. Weakness: Kalil is frail and fragile, and needs to stay within the shadows to keep up her energy. If she becomes exhausted, then her abilities are out of her reach and she is defenseless. Specialty: Kalil has a way of 'disappearing' into the shadows whenever she feels the need to. Also, on the more offensive side, she can mold the shadows to her sword to lengthen it, the shadows becoming sharper than the metal, and leaving no mark on your skin, though still slicing through. Appearance: Kalil is thin, almost sickly so, and very small, she barely reaches 4"9" and weighs much less than she should. Her skin is deeply tanned, and her ink-black hair, which almost reaches her knees, is always done in one long braid down her back. Her pale blue eyes seem to pierce through you, and her thin lips are nearly always twisted into a strange half smile. The clothes she wears are thread bear and faded, and her old leather boots are beginning to fall apart. She has no armor, and the thick leather belt she wears houses Aswan. History: I am Kalil, daughter of a soldier and a weaver. I never did care much for weaving, but I learned anyway to appease my mother. As a young girl, I never was home much. My parents were much too preoccupied with the war to care for a thin, frail girl such as I. As a direct result, the mountains were my friends, my home for as long as I can remember. I roamed the mountains, finding or stealing food from other villages as I passed them, only returning home every once in a few months. My family didn’t seem to care or even notice my long absences, so gradually they became longer, until I left the village for good. As I traveled through the mountains, I discovered a secret in the rocks. The mountains taught me in this secret, and quietly I was taught the art of the shadows through the only true masters of them, the mountains. I grew in my abilities until I could no longer learn anything from the silent rocks. I ventured away from my mountains twice before, both times to assist the soldiers where the fighting was hardest. From those two battles I joined in, I have three scars, one on my back, running from my left shoulder to my right hip, another on my upper left arm, and a third on my face, a thin gash from just to the left of my left eye and ending just to the left of my chin. It was from these battles that I discovered my second ability, the ability to heal others so they had no trace of any wound. I was never able to heal myself, though. When the peace was declared, I laughed. It will not last; peace cannot last in such a world as ours, with so much darkness. But, as the mountains are not the friendliest companions, I chose to venture out a third time, most likely for good... Personality: : Kalil is a quiet, odd sort of girl. She rarely speaks, even when spoken to. She observes everything, always watching. Nothing seems to escape her notice, even the minutest details. Kalil is distrusting of everybody unless she knows them very well, in which case she is extremely loyal to her friends. Oddities/Other: When Kalil 'disappears' into the shadows, the only part of her that is seen are her eyes. Magical_Dreams Name: Rowa Danelea Region: Tyria Gender: Female Race: Human Age: 17 Occupation: Traveling, naming things, learning, and staying active. Weapons: A tall staff with a dragon head. I've lived with my parents as an only child. I was self taught throughout my younger ages. Within time, my parents and i settled down in an old elaborate looking home near the country-side in Tyria. I began going to the local festivites and learned about other myths and legends that grew to my interest. It grew to my liking so much..I just nearly got in trouble with the guards that have been protecting Tyria from invaders. Now I face a memorable adventure that waits around the corner, just for me! Will I make it through?" Personality: She is a very unique girl who loves to frolic and play. She is a quick learner and loves to learn new things. She's quite gullible and takes things seriously at times. She has a way with making people laugh at the weird things she says and do. She carries around with her, two small bags full of sand (you'll have to ask her about those). She rides a Muddlet named: Niss.Ok all done! 3nodding *checks once more* ..yup. done. =) Muffinz Name: Charlotte Mahoney Region: Origins from Horizen. Gender: Female Race: Human Age: 18 Occupation: No permanent occupation. Travels from place to place as she pleases, or if just completely bored. Weapons: Owns about five throwing daggers, and two short swords, as she prefers to attack with two swords. Abilities: Photographic memory. Superb hearing but nothing supernaturally special, unfortunately. Weakness: Major Claustrophobic. Charlie is also highly opionated, and makes sure that everyone in range knows her mind, which has gotten her into much trouble. She is also petrifying terrified of snakes. She also has issues with authority. Specialty: Charlie has impeccable aim, that has won her a few contests here and there. She is also a superb cook, when the right things are placed in her hands. Though she's not quite sure why she never settled down in a place where she could just cook for a living. She assumes its her authority issues. Appearance: A former slave, Charlie is quite malnourished and thin, (though I'm willing to bet much healthier looking that Kalil) also very tired looking. Light shades of purple outline her bottom eyelids as she doesn't sleep much out of habbit. Her extremely fair, blonde hair is very long, falling down a little past her waist. Standing at a straight five foot two inch measurement, she is pretty average in height, though a little skinnier than normal due to events in her history, which leaves her weighing a little more than 112 ibs. The norm of her clothing consists of tighter knit sweaters that she has made herself, has “collected” from strangers, or given from friends. Most of her clothing is older, and some of it has holes worn into it, but she has her nice clothing she saves for certain events. History: “Mine is a dark tale. At least, it is so in the beginning. But we cannot help what goes on in our lives, as our lives are just one big story that is unfolded at every moment, with unexpected twists and turns around every corner. I began on the twelfth of May in some small village in the large but subtle country of Horizen. I was four when an army of black soldiers overtook my village, and destroyed those who resisted their power. My Father and only Brother were among the destroyed. I no longer grieve for them though, because I realized that I would not easily wish what happened next upon any good men, such as them. Those who surrendered were captured, beaten, and sold to the greater cities between the even greater countries of Asura to Devaen. I grew up in a large manor as a slave. My master was not a kind man, with even unkinder sons. His wife and only daughter however, were the only reasons why most of the slaves even survived in the home. I was a rather tempermental slave, my moods inconsistent. When I decided to be rude and angry, I was beaten heavily. When I decided to be obedient and humble, I was beaten less. It was because of his kind, loving, patient, beautiful wife that I escaped the horrors of the manor with my best friend, Ira. I’m not exactly sure how she pulled it off, but one night she woke Ira and me, telling us in urgent whispers that we needed to get out of bed immediately and follow her. She gave us both a bag with clothes and food, a case of water and a pair of shoes. Before we knew it we were being hustled through a back window, and I could hear the master yelling throughout the house. It was then that Ira and me set off together on a journey that would take us as far away from the manor as possible. I am no longer a slave, as the law states that after one year, a runaway slave may be free, but I no longer have Ira by my side. We were unfortunately separated and I have been searching for her for two years now. I still wish to find her. I still wish to find a family, be it my own or on that might as well be. I am incomplete, but only for now.” Personality: Charlie’s a bit temper mental. She can be snappy, she can be joyous. She can be angry, she can be obnoxious. Though her mood changes depending on the situation, there are some things that never change. She is quick, sarcastic, clever, and has a kind heart. She is annoyed easily, and is never afraid to say anything, and more often than not it has gotten her into much trouble, especially with her former master. Oddities/Other: Charlie has always wanted a pet. She’s not exactly sure what, but she knows that the right one will come to her when the time comes.

Appearance: Normal form: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f174/lonelybeast/nice.jpg Other form: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f174/lonelybeast/dark1.jpg
History: Around five years old, I remember playing with matches...my mom came in the room, right around the time I striked one...she yelled at me as it looked like I caught on fire...I remember seeing the fear in my mothers eyes...my house burned down, two men came into my house, and murdered my mother and father.

Name: Cedric Faulman Region: The East Gender: Male Race: Shaper (Shape-Shifter) Age: 26 Occupation: A Wizard, delving into the arts of experimenting, and inventing.
Also, his hands are convered, to hide the scars, from a checial accident that never seemed to heal.
((I realize that not all is written about the curse. The color helps me know the character immediatly, without ever reading who it is, just in case I forget. ))

There was a calm and most soothing wind up here. Flipping the thick red cloth of his cape like flags. Two thousand feet down past the dangling tips of his shoes, he could see the mountains spread out, wave after brilliant green wave. The palace was only a hollow square of ivory, tiny enough to squash between thumb and forefinger. He closed his eyes and drank the air with his body, feeling alive all the way to the tips of his fingers and toes. He yawned, stretched with pleasure. It was good to get up here sometimes, away from all that marble and red velvet, the fountains, the royalties that demanded his presence... There was something about this floating, this complete solitude and peace. An insect voice said apologetically, "Pardon me your Lordship" He opened his eyes, looked around. There he was, the one they called the Bug Footman. "You're early" he said. "No, sir. It's time for your morning routines" "That's all I hear from you--morning routines." "It's your duty" "Well, no doubt, you're right." "I'm sure I'm right, m'lord" "Okay. Leave at once" The footman made a face at him, then veered away on the wind and diminished to a drifting speck of light. Lazerus Nassor watched it until it was lost against the sunlit green background. Then he tilted lazily in the air, closed his eyes, and waited for the change. He felt the world contract around him. The wind was gone; mountains and sky were gone. He was breathing am ore lifeless air. Even the darkness behind his eyelids were a different colour. He moved cautiously, feeling the soft soft bed under him. He opened his eyes. There was the same old room, large and quaint that he snorted with amusement. It was always the same, no matter how often he came back to it. Three knocks rapped itself on the door. Lazerus forced himself out of the bed, as he reached out for his robe that hanged on one of the desk chairs. "Enter" he said. A maidservant entered and carried in a silver tray with a steaming pot of tea, bread and cheese. The maidservant set it down to the table and bowed, "M'lord, I have a message for you from Dark Knight Luzari" "Continue" "Dark Knight Luzari requests you to his quarters at noon. He says it is of great importance." "Thank you. You are dismissed." Lazerus smiled at the maidservant who blushed and turned away instantly, "Thank you for the breakfast." The maidservant exited the room and closed the white phoenix-engraved door.

Cedric sat upon his stolen throne, as he flicked a toothpick, to the floor. He had recently eaten, and now was satisfied with meat-free teeth. He watched, as his beasts ripped apart the deer, just caught only mere moments ago, and smirked. 'It was wonderful, to roam around in another form, for a little while,' he thought. He then rose up, going into his pockets. He pulled out a small rope, used for keeping his hair back, and used it. He wandered passed his creations, and down the stairs nearby. Once there, he could hear whining, from his latest victim. A small unicorn, seeming to be have ran too far, and wandered into his path. He allowed one of his creations to bite into it's shoulder blade, after a good chase.
He brought it home, to see how it reacted to the curse. 'So far, it seems to be reacting as all do. The wound has not healed, and it is both bleeding from the wound and mouth. If flames are placed upon the wound...' He burned into its wound. Searing animal flesh's scent gathered in the air. He brought the torch away, and saw the wound was gone, and no more blood poured from the mouth. 'As usual, it heals. But, if I do this...' He snapped his fingers, and the wound reopened, and the unicorn began to cough up blood again. 'The same reaction.' He snapped his fingers again, and all stopped again. 'There is only two true cure, instead of the temporary one. I keep the one hidden, and the other is obvious. It's my magic, so my death should work. But, the antidote would help as well, if it were known.'
He then left the beast alone, going over to his many books, and pulling one from the shelf. He opened to a random page, and began reading. He knew what he would do, but there was still something missing, before he were to do it. 'But what? What could I be possibly missing,' he thought to himself.

Rein's face looked grim. Strangely, this grim, sad face was actually excited. He didn't know where he was going, nor did he care...he just wanted to explore. Some of the animals had begged him not to go, one deer, a family of squirrels, and a few owls. Sadly, he knew he must. I guess that's why his face was so grim. After gathering all that was his in his clothes, he waved one last time, and exited the edge of the forest. He paused, and waited for approximately five seconds...braced for something, but nothing happened.
Rein had been scared of leaving this forest since he had entered it, he knew it too well to leave. After the few seconds of silence, he looked around, surprised to have nothing happen. His silver hair glinted slightly in the sunlight as he departed, his adventure starting for the first time. He couldn't say that he wasn't scared, nor that he wasn't excited. He felt odd being in so much sun...not very many trees about him. He only knew one thing...he was heading south, or towards the east...he couldn't remember.

Name: Kalil Alya Lytl Region: Devean Gender: Female Race: She is thought to be elven Age: 19 Occupation: Weapons: Aswan, a thin, extremely lightweight, sword, the blade just under two feet long, that seems to have an odd attraction to shadows.

The soft footfalls echoed through the smooth surface of the marble paved corridor. It was empty. Nothing there except a row of collumns and a lengthy window that stretched from the entrance of the corridor to the end of it. Outside were clouds, nothing more. Lazerus strode across the corridor, basking in the energy of the sun. He had changed into his armor which glowed white in the sunlight. Lazerus was making his way towards the quarters of the Dark Knight Luzari who had previously summoned him. Lazerus pondered on what he possibly would ask of him. Wartime was over and the three nations were enjoying the fruition of the economy and freedom. Aurtrone pushed through the dark blue mahogany doors that towered at the end of the corridor he was walking in and was now in the Black Tower. Interestingly, the magic city of Kattam is a floating city suspended in the sky revolving around the city below***. Securing the stronghold were four towers. The White, Blue, Red and Black. In each tower resided the guardians who maintained order and justice in all of Kattam. Lazerus took a deep breath before he pushed through doors that opened to Luzari's room. Both of them have had a history together, almost like an apprentice and master. When Lazerus was still training, it was he, Aurtrone Luzari who had vouched for his abilities. Since the war had ended, both of them haven't talked to each other. "Luzari" Lazerus called out as he entered the dark and shadowy room. The curtains were closed, books were scattered all over the floor. "Lazerus. Welcome!" A deep and loud voice called out. A figure out of the corner of Lazerus's eye crawled out of the darkness. "I've been expecting you" ***Concept inspired by Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. View http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCuXo9Yw08k&feature=related

His footfalls were silent as possible, but his travel went fast. Rein stared in the face of nothingness as his companion. His eyes were trained to the South, he didn't know why he was heading south...he just knew that's the way he was headed. His silver hair glinted in the sun...and at night the moon. The whole time he traveled, he had this un-nerving feeling that someone was watching him.
Rein stopped to find his predator, but there was nothing in sight...a couple trees, a few rocks, and the ground. He shook his head and continued walking...he was starting to get tired. He felt clouds close in on him, and soon enough it started to rain. He sighed, walking casually to a tree, and laying against it...out of the rain, out here in what he didn't know. It was beautiful.

"What is it that you need?" Lazerus asked the dark knight of Kattam. Luzari came forward with a scroll, folded himself into a chair, and knotted his fingers together. "There's a little task that his Royal Highness has asked of us" Luzari's lips compressed; his brown eyes stared earnestly at Lazerus. He still seemed about fourty years old; to look at him, he had not changed since the days when they had met at the battlefield. Not even the clothes were different-- the dark dark blue of his polished armor. A Lions mouth engraved on it and his sword which always was strapped on to his back. And the hair; once they were wild and scruffy, now it was slicked back. Lazerus blinked and shook his head, "Why are you issuing this then? The King would--" "The King has got his hands full at the moment and this task is of secrecy and great importance to the kingdom." Luzari said lazily. He reached for his knife and the block of wood. "Will you accept the mission?" Lazerus eyed the knife slowly, "What is the task?" Luzari set back the knife and the block of wood and reached for the scroll and opened it and started reading. "You are commended to a skirmish all over Azundria to bring five criminals under royal jurisdiction. Your targets are on this scroll." Luzari tossed it to Lazerus who caught it. "If I don't accept?" "You shall be tried for treason... here and now..." Luzari stood up slowly from his chair. Lazerus clenched his fist and took a look at the list. There was a description of what they looked like and their names. "You've got one year to accomplish the task." Luzari sat back down, "Dismissed."

Finally, Rein had decided to rest after a long while of travel. He didn't know how long it was, but he knew he made it at least more than twenty miles...a couple days from his departure. Other than the rain, this was his first real rest since he'd left his salvation. It wasn't under a tree, which he would have prefferred, but out in the middle of nowhere...hidden by a large rock. He kept his sword to his side, any sound and he'd spring up, his sword drawn. He currently waited for sleep to take him, even if it was broad daylight. ((Having serious writers block))

Kalil stood in the sparse shadow of a cluster of dead trees, holding her breath. She looked behind her one last time, there they were. The mountains. The ones she had lived in for so long. Her friends. One more step, and this would be the farthest she had ever gone.
Releasing her breath slowly, Kalil stalled some more. "This is it," She thought, "I'm really leaving." She stood somewhere near the Devaen-Asura border, she wasn't quite sure where. Maybe she had already passed it, or maybe it was a good deal further until she would reach it. What she was sure of, was that just a few steps further and she would be free of the mountains looming over her, like a great shadow weighing heavily upon her.
So she walked. Kalil walked slowly at first, fearful of being so far away from the mountains - her mountains. But as she went on, her footsteps were faster, and her meager confidence grew. She could do it.
