The weather was exceptional with only a few clouds in the sky. It was the groups third day of traval, and they were nearing the Yin-Po swamp. The weather howver was just a bonus as a caravan could be seen traveling towards the group
"Do you see that!" Joseph said escitedly. "A caravan." He began jumping and began waving at the wagons.

Lisosta watched too wondering if this was the same caravan that she had stowed away with for a month. If indeed it was were they effected by the plague as well? Lisosta didn't know and it was too late for them not to notice the group. Oh well they would just have to wait and we.
"I wonder if these are the same people that I traveled with when I first departed from Dai Khai." It would indeed be nice to see some familiar faces but at the same time she didn't know what to expect.

Raphon walked up and put his hand on Joseph stoping him from his excitment. He stared at the wagons approching for a minute.
"What is it Raphon?" Joseph asked trying to see something morein the caravan.
"I think there Branarians." Raphon moved his hand to sheild his eyes from the sun. "Do you recanize them Lisosta?"

Lisosta looked closely at the troop it seemed as though it might have been the troop she had traveled with out of Dai-Khai. "From what I can see I might know them but I'm wary." she looked back to Ralphon and her cousin. "Should we wave them down or let them pass?" Lisosta asked. How many other monsters were out across this land? How many were in league with the infected captain. A shudder ran down her spine. Only the two men beside her were trustworthy to her. Any one else she would assumeto be infected.

After taking in the Lisosta's advice Raphon turned back to Jacob and gave him a nod. Smiling he turned back to the road and proceeded to jump up and down again. "It can't be an worse then the infected." Raphon said then turned back to Lisosta. "And you did say you know them." Walking up the road he hoped that Lisosta would follow. He reached for Jacobs should to stop him from jumping.
He stoped and looked back at Raphon. "You don't want to use up too much of your energy Jacob." Raphon said as he jammed his Halpberd into the ground. "It will cause your infection to spread quicker." Jacob's face turned white at the remark and started to rais his hand to continue waving them down. "That won't be necessary son." Raphon said kicking up the dirt with his weapon. "Lisosta, please cover your eyes." He shouted over his shoulder. "You do the same Jacob." I bright flash of light proceeded after he was sure that there eye's were covered.

Lisosta followed them forward. At Ralpho's request she closed her eyes and cover them with her arm. She could almost see the flash behind her eye lids. as it sounded through the air. Ralphon was right the caravan could be no worse than her cousin's condition. If they had stayed out of the country as long as she.

As he had hoped the flash of light made them send out riders to investigate.
The two riders came out in a fluster making their horses rear up infront of the three. "I demand to know what just happened here." One of the men shouted in a commanding voice.
"Just a demonstration of steel magic my lord." Raphon replied to the rude guest.
The two men who approached looked like they were more from the south then the north. There skin was more of a bronze color then the paler northerners and there swords had a much more exagerated curve then the elegant blades form the land of Dai-Kai.
"More of our men will be here momentarily." He said as he manuverd his hoarse around. "All three of you will submit to a search before we move on." The two road off in a gust back to the caravan. Raphon just stood there watching them go off.

Lisosta slowly opened her eyes only to see the guards on horses approaching. She heard their statements and nearly glared at Ralphon, how was this supposed to help them? The princess turned her views back to the caravan wondering what would become of them.

Raphon turned back around the moment the riders began to go away to see an upset looking Princess, and a surprised royal. "Uh..." Raphon stamered. "Is there a problem?" He asked.

"It just would have been nice of you to tell us what your plan was before possibly putting us all in danger. I don't want any harm to come to Jacob. I have no idea what their search will be for but i hope that your plan is playing out the way you wanted it to."
The elvin princess laid a hand to her forehead kneeding the flesh there. "Captain Hiro wants nothing more then to kill me what if these people are in league with him as well?"

"Then there will be another monster like the captain hiding among them." Raphon answered with a bit of an omninus tone. He turned his head looking back at the caravan that he had stopped. "I'm really going by the skin of my teath on this one Lisosta." He turned back to face her. "But i don't beleive that we are in any real danger."
"Any real danger!" Jacob shouted. "If they search us and find something on me that shows i'm infected they will kill me and probally all of us!" He had to take in a long breath after his torrent.
Raphon was actually quite surprised at this. Jocob hadn't said much of anything, let alone take the offensive in an argument since they left the city a week ago.
"And why are we even out in the wilderness like this?" He continued his tirade. "All we have been doing is walking north! No sign of anything but grass and tree's, and the people you stopped are going to kill us!" The man was histerical at this point.

Lisosta gritted her teeth. "Calm down Jacob. Ralphon wouldn't willingly try to kill us. If all goes well we might be able to ride instead of walk. If we keep arguing they'll know something is up. So far you haven't showed any signs of infection and hopefully you never will. the sooner we get to the source the sooner we can heal our people and purge our land of evil."
The princess turned to their protector, "Ralphon I'm sorry for my outburst. You're trying your best to help us even though this isn't even your matter to fully deal with. I'll handle talking with the guards, it will make things much simpler." The half elf looked over at the caravan waiting for the guards or whom was inside the caravan to come search them.

Takig a seat on the edge of the road he nod'ed.
Jacob, his face still bright raid from his anger walked off the road a bit and began throwing rocks.
It didn't take too much longer for a larger number of guards to ride out from the caravan. COming out at a full charge they were ontop of them in minutes. The one who spoke before came out to the front of the formation. "Now." He began in the same tone of voice he spoke with before. "Will the speaker please come foward."

Lisosta had returned the hood to her head sometime before worried about them finding out her real identity at first. It seems that know it could help them, at a risk.
Moving forward with lady like grace she stopped a few meters from the head guard. "I am the speaker." She replied her voice holding a commanding tone though it was not stern. It seemed that being raised for diplomacy was paying off a bit. if he asked of whom she was she would tell them. It was no good to hide her identity at this point maybe in the future it would be necessary. Her hand covered her father's brouch so as not to give too much information away.
