Elves (Rigoran/Kyten) ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ Story: Mindan. That was the name of a once peaceful Kingdom. The king there ruled with a gentle but firm hand. The people of the kingdom loved him, for he was good and kind. But the king had an evil brother who loathed and despised him. One night, in the king’s sleep, the brother killed him…and stole the crown. The Royal Family was devastated and so was the kingdom. After he killed the King, he married the queen, and ruled with an iron fist. Those that disobeyed or rebelled against him felt his wrath. He killed all that defied him.
The Prince and Princesses were horrified. Their uncle had always been a good man, or so they thought. When he became King, he showed his true colors. The Elven people went into hiding in the many forests that covered the kingdom, where the evil King couldn’t find them.
Mindan was thrown into darkness. The King used his magic for evil and the place that was once light and beautiful suffered. People starved and illness spread, but the commoners clung to a hope, as small and fragile as it was. Tales of the Dawntime were passed around. It was said back when Time began, there were the Dragon Whisperers. They were warriors who fought for the freedom of others when darkness arose. What made these warriors so special was that they had Dragons-legendary creatures that lived for thousands of years. The warriors could speak to their dragons through thought speech and summon them at will. They were said to have a flame shaped “birthmark” on the back of their right hand.
Unknown to the world, the tales of the Dawntime were coming true. There were ten warriors-6 human and 4 elven-but they were scattered across the land, didn’t know who they were, and their dragons hadn’t hatched yet. Will they find each other in time? And will they be able to overthrow the evil King and restore peace to the kingdom? That is up to you to decide…Settings: The place is set in the medieval times-that means no guns or present day stuff.
The Humans generally made their homes more out in the open, but the elven people liked to keep to the forests (hidden villages) and the deserts. (Nomadic tribes)
There are forests and plains, hills, mountains, deserts and valleys.
There are two main roads that run across the whole Kingdom-one going from the east to west, the other going from the north to south. The Royal City where the evil king rules is where the two roads meet.
There are many other towns, villages, and some cities scattered across the kingdom.

Elves (Rigoran/Kyten) ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Inhabitants of The Kingdom: Dragons Dragons, as the legends say, are creatures of the elements. When the four elements collided, the first dragon was born. It had scales as hard as rock; a body that held the grace of water; wings and the ability to read the air currents high in the sky; and a breath of fire. It could live thousands of years, unchanging. But if connected to a Rider, if the rider dies, so does the dragon.
To Summon their dragons, the Riders have to say a short “power phrase.” Basically, just a few words that will call their dragon to them. Each dragon has two powers that their rider may use.
The rider’s dragon’s still need to hatch. Dragons grow at a very fast rate. The Rider is able to ride the dragon as little as a week after the dragon has hatched.Riders A Rider is a person with a flame shaped birthmark on the back of their hand. The Rider can be Elven or human. A Rider has the ability to be able to talk to Dragons-theirs and other dragons-and other Riders telepathically. (Mind to mind) They can also sense when another Rider or Dragon is near.
They may use the powers of their dragon. When they come of age-anywhere from 16 to 20-they will come across an egg holding their dragon which will hatch a couple weeks after they find it. They do not know they are riders. All the know is that they don’t fit into society like the rest of the people.Elves Rigoran: The Rigoran are desert Nomads, said to be the children of the Fire God, Zenos. They are darkskinned, sturdy people used to the openness of the desert. They never stay in one place for too long, since it is in their blood to always be on the move. It is especially useful since they are now hunted by the new king.Kyten: Pale as the moon, the Kyten prefer the closeness and the quiet that the forest provides. They are the opposite of their desert cousins, the Rigorans. The Kyten are the children of the Earth God, Celtos. They are slim people, lithe and graceful. They prefer to live in hidden villages high up in the trees. The King does not bother hunting the Kyten since they are masters at evasion. But if one is ever captured, he will kill it.
Marriage between races is rare, but not unheard of, since they do meet up every so often to trade and keep in touch.Humans Made by the Moon Goddess, Aura, humans populate most of the kingdom. Many are appalled at the fact that the King was murdered in his sleep by his brother. They live in fear, holding their beliefs close to their heart and telling no one, lest they be killed for holding the wrong beliefs. Many, though, have started meeting in secret to tell tales from the Dawntime and keep hope alive.

They are here for you to come look at as references since they are the "higher powers" in the land. People swear and curse by these gods. They pray to them and um...spit in their names.Aura:
Known as the Creator, She gave birth to the planet. Everything on it was made by her, except for the Dragons and the Elven people. She is also known as the Moon Goddess or the Great Mother. She created the twin Gods, Xyrin and Nyx.
Xyrin:
The Sun God. He rules the day and everything that lives underneath the sun. Xyrin is known to be very fair in times of judgement and trial. He often worries about his twin, Nyx.
Nyx:
The Dark God. He is confined to the night by Aura. Like the King's brother, he loathes his own brother, Xyrin. Nyx tried to kill him, but was unsuccessful because Aura intervened. Now he is no longer allowed to go near day, but is chained to night. He continually grows more corrupt.
Siienne:
Goddess of the Air. She and three others were created by Xyrin to be eternal rulers of the elements. Siienne has wings that grow from her back. Her weapon is the bow and arrow.
Celtos:
The Earth God. He is one of the creators of the Elven race (The Kyten). His weapon is a double ended spear.
Illyra:
The Water Goddess. She can see into the future or the past with a special seeing bowl that she keeps up in the higher realms. She prefers hand to hand combat.
Zenos:
The Fire God. He is the other creator of the Elven race (The Rigoran). His weapon of choice are daggers of various lengths.
