A large island fertile with many different plants and animals. Half of the island is a jungle paradise while the other half is a large forest frozen in a strange crystal ice. The half of Altamoria island with lush vegetation is known as Alta-Ve and the frozen half is Alta-Fu. The general shape of the island is a huge circle with mountains laid out through the middle of it along with large lakes. Alta-Ve and Alta-Fu are often at war with each other and no one monarchy rules the entire island; there are very peaceful towns and villages on the large island however.

More Detail

The Alta-Furian Navidora live on the eastern half of the Altamoria Island where as the Alta-Vean Navidora live on the opposite side; west. There are a total of three towns and twelve villages on the entire island as well as two great castle structures.

Towns:

Borimea - A fertile mining town in the Alta-Vean territory of Altamoria. The Navidora here are very proud and strong and the town is renown throughout the entire island for having the most masterful craftsman. Borimea is not a warring town and is neutral in all civil conflicts; they ship their goods to both Alta-Ve and Alta-Fu areas.

Geyantos - A military town in the Alta-Furian area of Altamoria. Geyantos trains many different Navirdora and is successful in training the most skilled warriors on the island. Geyantos is also called the fort city for an obvious reason.. It was a fort before it was a city. The town sides with Alta-Fu in all civil matters.

Cellaway- The town of sweets, Cellaway. Cellaway is the most known city on the island for it's delectable pastries and candies. Cellaway is a city that only the most wealthy can afford to live in; the works generally live in Mizuhiko Village or Gulbadia Village and travel from there to get to work. The town is neutral in all civil affairs.

Villages:

Mizuhiko - A village run by a powerful clan of water sages. Their belief in the ways of old have halted the village growth from becoming a town and most are against those that venture out to Cellaway each day. The most powerful of all water manipulating Navidora are said to be born from this village. Mizuhiko Village is neutral in all conflicts that don't directly affect the village.

Shuraboku- A popular tourist village, Shuraboku is a lake town with some of the greatest hot springs. A popular vacation spot for any Altamorian family, Shuraboku Village is the only village to ever be lead by a being who is not a Navidora. Depending on the season's income, Shuraboku's alignment in battle changes.

Derchor- Derchor is a very poor village while its people are very powerful hunters and skilled farmers. It is rare that they sell anything they grow or catch to outside sources since they only catch or grow what they will need; never more or less. Derchor is hard to find since sages long past generated a veil around the small village so it could only be found by those that knew the way. Derchor will help whichever side that will pray to their deities and go through their ceremonies (Most of the time it can't ever be found to ask for help)

Zazamorn- A port village that has one of the most thriving fishing industries. Zazamorn is a very bad place for Alta-Furian beings to go being as the entire village is bent on Alta-Vean control of the island. Their side in all civil battles are obvious.

Gulbadia- A small village off the coast of the Alta-Furian side of Altamoria. They are a happy people that barter with seashells rather than water crystals like the rest of the island. Skilled fisherman from all around the island move hear after some time since it is the best place to catch the rare "Momer Dragonfish" a delicacy in the kitchen and a powerful poison source for weapons. Gulbadia is mostly for the Alta-Furian side of civil conflicts though depending on the situation they may not help at all.

Naviroa- Naviroa is also known as "Stilt Village" by most of the surrounding towns and villages for the fact that the entire village is built ontop of buildings that are piled on tall stilts. Being in between a large lake and the sea, Naviroa is often flooded so they built their homes on stilts. A village very big on seafood and home cooking. They are always ready to help the Alta-Furian forces.

Loand- A large forest village that is known more for their artistic culture. They are not very welcoming to outsiders but will not attack unless aggravated. The Loand villagers have often captured their enemies and used them as sacrifices to their own deities. They strongly favor the Alta-Vean forces.

Tirwan- A large port village that has great festivities throughout the entire year. Most musicians are born from here on Altamoria Island and they are most famous for their "Suac Du Maoc" a festivity that gathers people from every village on the island and has them compete in different competitions to see which village is the year's winner. They are neutral in most conflicts but will help either side depending on the circumstances.

Naote- Not much is known about this village since it was the target of a violent raid by bandits. Most that lived here are said to be dead while others believe it to be the home of the bandits know. Before it was known for the sweet fruit trees it would grow. It's allegiance is unknown.

Oakdawn- A peaceful village guarded by tall trees. Oakdawn was originally an Elven colony that was built to help strengthen the bond between the Navidora and the elves. Most of the buildings are elven styled and many of the people are elves themselves. Oakdawn will help whichever side needs it most but mostly sticks to the Alta-Furian side of conflicts.

Skytear- A village made by humans in the same manner as the elve's Oakdawn village. Skytear however is a port village and though not as proffeciant at selling fish as the Navidora ports they have a busting economy on their own. Skytear is a generally Alta-Vean village but they are not hostile to any Alta-Furian people.

Bloodyew- A village of vampires. Vampires are welcomed all around the island of Altamoria since they generally act curiously to the Navidora and being that Navidora blood is thick and mostly watery, it does nothing for a vampire. Bloodyew village is a favorite place of most Navidora tourists since it has a very Gothic styled structure in most of its buildings; something only found in this village and the Alta-Furian castle. Bloodyew is a neutral village and will not participate in battles unless they are attacked first.

Castles:

Zolmorian Castle- A large castle made completely of marble and sapphire. Zomorian castle houses the Alta-Furian royal family that rules over most of the Alta-Furian region. Zolmorian Castle has giant load stones at the bottom of the castle to protect it from magic and thick walls to protect it from intruders.

Cravoals Castle- A majestic castle in the Alta-Vean territory that houses the Royal Alta-Vean family. The castle is strategically made to descend from the middle and is teaming with royal archers and royal guard. Vines run up the ancient walls and strike at intruders that are not permitted to enter the walls. Cravoals Castle has a large stone in the middle of it to defend it from magic.

About Altamoria

Currency:

The Altamorian Islanders use special crystals that develop only on the island of Altamoria. These crystals are made when the ocean water mixes with the naturally magical waters of Altamoria Island. Every crystal has a bit of magical energy that can keep a being hydrated. They are prized among the Altamorian Islanders and work perfectly as their form of currency. As is with most gems, the larger the Water Crystal, the more it is worth (the better it hydrates as well). Most of the villages on Altamoria Island will also accept different items as the Altamorian islanders love to barter.

Religion:

The Alta-Vean believe in the Moon Goddess, Seiunari. In their religion she is a benevolent deity that gives the seas movement so long as she is appeased with offerings of sage being burned on top of water crystals. Her temples offer protection to any that will give prayer to her as "The Divine Matron". Seiunari Her hair is said to be the heavens with the stars woven into it like beads while her face is hidden by the moon she holds. The Priestesses that works within her religion where gems and other such things in their hair along and carry white framed mirrors during their ceremonies.

The Alta-Furian worship Arodivan the sea king and god of water. With his blessing it is said the the Alta-Furian where given a crystal landscape to call their home and as such he is believed to be the one for the Alta-Furian territory. Arodivan gives life to sea creatures and graces the land with fertility in his rain. Priests that worship him draw lines on their body with a paint made of crushed Water Crystal that glows in the brightest of places. ArodivanIs said to be a masculine being that rides through the seas on a large whale-like creature.
