I got the suggestion the other day that perhaps we can talk to some of the older Developers. Those like Panagrammic seem to still be listening to the users, so maybe we can garner support from her. From there, maybe we can get suggestions to others on our side.
Unless we can convince Gaia to get its act together, I know that plenty of us will move permanently to Solia. Gaia was a first love, right? Let's try to save it.
*If this seems unorganized, it's a little late over here.

Cause I'm not 100% sure what you mean by that. I do think some Gaia design members are listening to users and have worked on past issues. However it seems they create just as many problems as they solve!

How can we even contact them? Are they really able to have a say anymore, as far as programming and web designing goes? I really hope they do...
I could present my layout ideas to her then, or anyone else who'll listen...just hope they aren't too far off in a different time zone or anything.
I'm really all for this. It's better to come up with intelligent solutions instead of "supposedly complaining and brew-ha-ha-ing" over "nothing".
And the only issue that I might have with older developers is that they may not have kept up with more recent efficient methods of coding-either that, or their swamped trying to take care of bug reports and such that deal with their layout. But they would know better than anyone what Gaia's coding was before right? Hmm..

Sounds like a pretty good idea.. but I was thinking what if you sent your layout idea to the feedback thing on the My Gaia page, along with poll results and user support? That might help.
