I'm really starting to think SM could have ended the series in Eclipse. She could have easily added in a couple of chapters of their wedding and Bella turning into a vampire. Then we wouldn't have that monstrous child.Oh what joy that would be ^_^.But then SM had to have her characters have a fairytale ending rolleyes
I also really trying to forget BD.I feel it ruined this amazing series for me sad .
Anyone else feel this way?

Yes.

In fact, her contract was for only three books. Breaking Dawn was on a new contract. So basically she was suppose to stop at Eclipse, but she wanted to indulge her characters even more and give them the nothing goes wrong ending. :/

BD was 700+ pages of indulging her own fantasies for her characters. gonk She could've easily put it on her website or have it in an epilogue in Eclipse. There was no need to have all those senseless pages. Just because there are a lot of words, doesn't mean each one was absolutely necessary. There's a lot of stuff that could've been cut from BD and the main story would've still been intact. Plus the character dump was totally unecessary and the index in the back made me go, "Lady, what purpose does this serve? It's not like they're important or anything. They only showed up for a couple of pages, babe."

Also, I think money played a huge part in this. Maybe it was her agent's idea or her own, but either way they couldn't pass up the opportunity for money.

If I wanted a happy ending, I would go watch a Disney movie because at least Disney leaves me feeling happy, unlike BD which did not.

I completely agree with you, Nirati. I really wish the book would have ended at Eclipse. While Breaking Dawn leaves everyone with a happy ending...it just all seems so out of place when compared to the rest of the story. x.x

I completely agree. The whole Breaking Dawn storyline was ridiculous. She should have just made the wedding the epilogue of Eclipse and that's the end of it. None of this whole Renesmee crap.

And She could have created someone else for Jacob to imprint on too.I'd so much rather it be with someone else then Renesemee >.<

I semi-agree with all of you.

The first half of it felt like it was okay, because to me, it was Bella. Though all kind of pointless, I did want to see their wedding and her become a vampire. If it had ended at that, I believe that it would have worked out well, though not as well written as Twilight (the best book EVER written *drools*). IF she had left it at that.

The second half felt like a bad Fan Fiction. It was like she got all of hers and all the crazy fangirls fantasies together and put in to that last half. And seriously? Jacob imprinting on to Renesmee was to cliche. AND Bella had to many "natural" abilities. She didn't have to go through the years of suffering, and she has that shield thing, which is really like two in one in it's self.

So technically, she has three gifts. NOT. COOL.

And they should have given Renesmee's power to someone else. Some bratty little half-breed kid has no right to it.

Okay, I did get a little mushy when Edward said he could hear the baby and that the baby was trying to NOT cause Bella pain but...that's it.

POINT IS. She should have just stopped it after Bella turned vampire.
One, no one cares that they have sex all night -_-.
Two, Bella doesn't feel like Bella anymore.
Three, It got incredibly cheesy.

I did like the Chapter titles for Jake's section though ;D

I actually enjoyed the book, mostly because it gave me what Twilight and New Moon did. (I only really like Eclipse b/c of Jasper and Rosalie stories.) Nothing wrong with a fairy tale ending, especially since they were her characters anyways, and let's not forget that she wrote them for herself. So, as long as she's happy, it's cool.

If you want, you make an editted version. By a copy of the book and tear out all the material you didn't like.

Lame joke: Then it really would be breaking Dawn. (Sorry, I need sleep)

I enjoyed the part where Edward called Jacob is son. Its so ironic to me, I find it humerus. I will admit thought parts of it were kinda cheesy, but then again I don't mind chessy that much. And I was really annoyed the whole time I read Eclipse... But thats just me..

The only good things I found in Breaking Dawn was Bella/Edward's wedding, their funny after-sex-scenario ( heh, Edward and pillows xD ) and Jacob's POV.

The rest was stale. It seemed like the characters got less interesting and more boring. I don't mind happy endings but the happy ending in BD wasn't so great at all.

I just feel cheated out of a good 8 dollars I could have used on another book.
xP
It wasn't all that great. She should have stopped it at Eclipse because in my opinion BD was an epic fail.
It just not any ordinary epic fail either it's this type of epic fail:

-sighs-
I don't like the part where Bella gets knocked up or the part where Rose acted even more b-tchy than she usually does. Also the part where she's to stupid to see that the baby was killing her and where SM makes Carlisle stupid.
>:{
Really, Carlisle would have thought of that WAY before when it was mentioned.
I mean come on, the guys studied just about everything, has been alive super long and is definately the wisest of all the Cullens.

The ending really pissed me off. I anticipated the ended to be this big blow out fight scene where the vampires fight and people actually die but nooooo they only kill Irina who is a minor character even in Breaking Dawn.
...
SOOOO Overall.
Rayne = Not very happy.

Oh though the only part I really liked was the wedding.
That was probably about it.
