Welcome to Torn Asunder, where worlds are colliding every day. Imagine if you will that you are an ordinary human, why most of us are (statement may or may not be out dated), and all of a sudden you see an honest to goodness angel. You turn the corner and see a very big bug, which turns out to be a fairy. What is this? You think. You pinch yourself, you must be in a dream.

Or maybe you and your heard of centaurs were frolicking in the forest when all of a sudden you came upon a strange sort of jungle, with tall masses of unknown material, all with amazingly straight edges, and humans in strange contraptions that move faster than you can run. What is this?

Reality is ripping to shreds boys and girls. One moment you are in your peaceful little cottage with your husband and little son just getting over the outrages of a blond human eating all of your porridge, the next you walk out side for some fresh air and find your cottage on the top of the empire state building. What is happening? What sort of creatures will show up next? Damn that Goldilocks! This is all her fault!

Any character from any time line, and any race are all available to role players. The challenge is that every one is coming to this fictitious Urban American city, no matter their background. How will your race react with the next race?

Your character can be anything you want it to be. You can be from a video game, a tv show, etc. It can be an O.C. or a character already done elsewhere, though I would like to see you put your own spin on it.

My only request is that you be able to put yourself in a new position. That is the whole point of this roleplay is to stretch the reality of your character to the breaking point. It is set in an Urban city, modern day USA, so take your character and put them in the middle of the action, even if your character is Fred Flintstone.

Send your application to me, and I will accept it, reject it with circumstances (for instance the background doesn't seem full enough to be able to role play the character in a new setting truely), or reject it. If you are accepted, wait until your application is posted to post.

Just another boring day, Rosae thought, trudging home from another day of classes. She sighed wishing that there was something more to life than school, work, home, and taxes. Her life seemed so pointless. She knew no one at her college, well that's not true she knew quite a few people, but didn't have any friends. She had never been asked to go out for a coffee after classes, and she was never invited to study sessions. She rolled her eyes blowing a strand of hair out of her face. Life was meaningless.

Rosae looks at Dragon Sensei curiously as she walks by. She shakes her head. She didn't remember an Anime con coming to town any time soon. When he started to look up at the sky, she paused and against her better judgment tapped his forearm.

"Excuse me sir," she said, her voice hardly above a whisper. "What building is your convention in?" She paused for a second, then feeling self conscious, she added with a nervous stammer, "Not that I don't think you could find it on your own, I was just saying if you are lost, I may be able to direct you to the right area."

Rosaes eyes grew big, jaw dropping to the ground. "No f'n waaaaaaaay!" she gasped, her book bag dropping to the cement. Her eyes quickly darted around the area, noticing the amount of people stopping to stare. She cringed hearing the screeching of tires in the intersection behind them.

Thinking on her feet she yells "Give a hand for the wonderful Dragon...er.. DUDE! That's right, check out w w w dot Dragon Dude dot com to book him for your party needs."

She nods at him wide eyed, hoping he would follow her lead so that she could get him to safety and figure out what his deal was before authorities were called.

Rosae laughed softly, shaking her head as they rose to the top of a building. This is so surreal, she though pinching herself hard, "OW!"

She sighed softly rubbing her temples with a soft chuckle. "Well that is one way to get off the street."

She then paced back and forth on the roof, trying to digest all that had just happened. "Are you sure that this isn't a publicity stunt?"

Rosae watched him curiously, listening carefully to him explain himself.

"Hmmm..." she murmured, pinching herself once more to make sure. She had had dreams in the past where she could feel some sensation, but dream or not, this sure beat a normal day out of the ball park. She bit her lip and tilted her head, thinking of what to do.

After a few moments thought and a ton of pacing around the roof of the building she nodded, turning back to the oddest creature she had ever laid eyes on. "Pleased to meet you Dragon Sensei, name's Rosae, and I am just an ordinary college student. This may or may not be a dream, but regardless, we should get you somewhere a bit safer. If you hadn't noticed, my world doesn't see magic much, the only magic we see on a regular basis are card tricks and Chris Angel," she nodded her head and her eyebrows furrowed as she examined him head to toe.

"Well, that's interesting...." Rosae said scratching her head. She had never imagined his appearance issues would be so easily resolved. She laughed nervously taking off her hat and running a hand through her hair.

"Boy am I glad I live off campus," she said shaking her head and putting her hat back over her head. "My apartment is less than a mile away, an easy walk whenever you are ready. It will be a bit... small though."
