Found this in the main forums as an announcement....Quote: Greetings, fellow Gaians, Recently, there have been a number of concerns brought to our attention regarding the increased level of activity by Gaia staff in this forum. We realize that there are often perceived lulls in staff activity, when it seems days or even weeks pass by without a single word from anyone on staff - but we assure you that is not the case. Our team of Moderators and Administrators are working diligently on handling all of the reports submitted by members in this and all other areas of Gaia. As we have more staff members to work diligently on the report queues, we will be resolving all reports more more quickly and efficiently.
We value the concerns of the community, that's why the volume of moderation on forums or individuals are solely based on reports we receive from members like you. For the areas which are receiving more of our attention, it's a result of more reports being written.Thank you to everyone who has used the reporting system to flag material that violates the Terms of Service. We look forward to working with you on your reports. A few reminders for everyone: * Warnings will be issued for Terms of Service (ToS) violations. * A ban will be issued for anyone who has been warned repeatedly for ToS violations. * Pointing fingers at any individual member or staff member [also known as "namedropping"] is not allowed. * All Terms of Service violations will be handled by warning and/or placing a ban as appropriate. o Any members who are encouraging others to violate the ToS (whether it be inside a ToS violating thread or not) may also be warned/banned appropriately. What is your opinion on the matter of "staff activity"? Think it's legit hope? Or is it just another false call?

I've been banned twice and NEVER received a damn warning neutral
And if they HIRE more users to work for them there wouldn't be this problem.

And I'd be great for the job since I'm an insomniac and most of the time mods aren't on at night
And it doesn't seem like they're working on anything to be honest. When your computer is having problems all defence mechanism pull together to try and fix the problem not this do this and this do that.
I think it's a false call they have to keep the users here to get the money so they have to spoon feed you what you want to hear.

@ Valerie Vomit: Did they at least tell you what you did to get the ban hammer?
sweatdrop ...I can tell you... they are getting more mods...
... As for working... I'm actually moding right now... I just has da dial up so some things are slow... which is why I lurk in guilds when I'm waiting for other pages to load. And we actually do work for them for free, mods are all volunteer based....
I'm online rather late at night every night save for Friday and usually Saturday, my normal online times for this account are 11-2/3am.... before then I'm on my mules. If you need a mod for anything huge you can PM me if it's at those times or IM me (my AIM name is in the bar)... my statis is hidden simply because I'm on the bottom of the list on all of my forums and users have a habit of PMing ether the top of the list or bottom, which can lead me to getting 3-5 PMs a minute....

They said I was hacking because someone gave me hacked items they owed me money because I was nice and helped them get their questing items and they got me banned and I also know this girl reported me many times on her mules and main account she stalked me and I have proof she did this because I saw her talking to this other person about it when I was on a mule emo I tried explaining this to them they didn't believe me though and now I'm always scared of it happening again so I just don't donate or lend things to people other then my boyfriend. They told me about it when I got the email never got a warning for it or a "You have hacked items you will be temporary frozen" sad I gave up on ever getting it back I'm only 17 gaia wouldn't hire me because I'm a year younger I think I'd make a good mod though I'm an insomniac and I'm on alot I'm home schooled too Samt you are like the nicest mod out there that I've met I commented you about that surprised

Yes all they said was "You're not getting your account back, If you have any further questions, please let us know. Thanks for writing." I wrote them back and nothing since this was two years ago. I still get worried she's out there watching me and I'm going to get banned again emo She even posted this thing on one of her mules profiles calling me a b***h and saying that she is not sorry for what she did. and then a few weeks later it changed to "I love you" and included my old username, then on her main account she copied my princess tutu theme and media. I had to change email accounts and gaia accounts a few times because of her

Valerie Vomit, if you haven't done so already add all of her accounts names to your current account's ignore list. (randomly titled as enemy list... not sure what it's called now....) Any time she bothers you now file a harassment report against her or report her post or PM.

Wait, I thought that this site could ban IP addresses-how can this tweak get away with making different accounts and such??? There's a 15 minute "ban" set in place for those who try and get into an account by typing in the wrong password/username a couple of times....(this happened to me once when I forgot my current password for this one for a while)

There's a 15 minute "ban" set in place for those who try and get into an account by typing in the wrong password/username a couple of times....(this happened to me once when I forgot my current password for this one for a while) IP addresses can be changed very easily so it doesn't really help sweatdrop Samt- I did. But I'm not sure It'd help me much, She has gotten into one of my emails before and sent gaia an email regarding my old account. I tried to talk to a mod about it and I had screenies and everything and still got the cold shoulder. So now I really don't know how you could prove anything if the screenies of it weren't good enough. Awell I haven't seen anything of her for awhile so hopefully it stays that way.
