~* Akuma *~
An akuma is a legendary spirit from Japanese Folklore. They are often seen with flaming heads, with eyes that burn like coal. It often brandishes a sword as it flies through the air. Even the mere sight of an Akuma is said to bring bad luck.

~* Blood Orange *~
The Moro strain of Blood Oranges have a deep purple flesh with a red orange rind, with a stronger flavor and aroma than normal oranges. It has a distinct sweet taste, with hints of raspberry. They are good sources of Vitamin C, and also contain anthrocyanin which helps reduce the risks from many age related diseases. The juice from the Blood Orange is quite tasty, and makes excellent cocktails and italian sodas.

~* Neroli *~
Neroli is a bitter orange perfume oil similar to bergamot. It has a refreshing and distinctive spicy scent with hints of flowery undertones. It is one of the most widely used floral oils used in perfumery, and blends well with citrus scents, floral scents and most of the synthetic components currently on the market.

~* Raspberry *~
Grown in more temperate regions, the raspberry has a very sweet, fruity smell. There are a variety of different types and colors, ranging from a deep red to almost black color and going as light as to a yellow or orange tone. Despite the color change, they still retain their same flavor and smell.

Appearance: Lin is dark elf lineage, which gives her pitch black skin. Her hair is pale white, with a little bit of red at the tips. It falls to the small of her back, and she normally keeps it braided so that it is out of her way. Her eyes are bright gold, which are considered an oddity amongst her kind, though is rather normal for her family. She has a fairly light build, with a fine bone structure. Her normal attire consists of a knee length white dress, with a turtle neck collar and full bell sleeves, overtop of which she wears a red corset and a red hooded cloak with a mantle. She has a white sash wrapped around her waist, with red at the ends, as well as a black headband with long tails that she always wears. Her shoes are plain white boots, with gold bands around the ankles.
Biography: Born to the east of Midori, in a far oasis of the Kinsuna desert, Lin's family was relatively small. Her parents were a part of one of the gangs that ran their little village, which meant that she had a rather good life. She even joined when she came of age, helping out more in the magical sense than anything else. She was a gifted shaman, able to call nature and the spirits to do her bidding. On a routine duty, however, to help a party take over a city, her life changed. One of the member of the party, a noble elven warrior named Kiyoshi, took a liking to her, though she not to him. Despite that, he took her as his mate, which quite angered her. Amongst her family, the females were the leaders, not the males, so when her want was overlooked, she was enraged. However, he was stronger than she.
One day, shortly before her 25th birthday, Lin managed to kill Kiyoshi. Despite her dislike of the situation, she still had killed her husband, which meant she would be prosecuted. Fleeing, Lin ran to the city of Midori, a surprising haven where there was minimal magic. There, she has stayed hidden, doing her best to keep her true nature known and not letting the others find out just where she is. Despite her attempts at hiding, one person managed to find her. Her brother, Feng, was able to track her down, though he has sworn not to tell where she is. He is currently living with her in Midori.

Secrets: Lin has several tattoos. The first is a long spider web which starts over her right eye, crosses over her face, behind her neck and across her chest before wrapping around her left arm and ending at her fingertips. The second is much simpler, being the symbol of a black widow upon the small of her back.
Due to the low magical content in Midori, Lin was only able to sustain one spell, which is used on her companion, Rong Mao. Normally, the spider is quite large, and is used as a mount, however since she is trying to evade suspicion, he is kept in his smaller carry size.

Lin, Feng, Jinyu and Rong Mao occupy a 3 bedroom apartment.
