Alright, I know you all have some cute little betta stories.... let's hear them!

I got a betta the night before, and named him Flare, after his favorite past time @.@
Anyways
Flare is pretty small yet, and dark, so pretty hard to see. Well, he's also residing on the kitchen counter. His filter plugs into the only outlet hole available. My mom unplugged the filter to run the washing machine while we went out back to have a fire. w00t. I come in later to get a drink of water, and turn on the light. I peek into his cage to see how the little tyke is, and can't find him. So, I look around some more, and really get worried. well, I look up at the top of the water, fearing a dead fish, and see him sitting in his filter! It was adorable! It's like the best place for him to sit when it's not on, though when it's on he tries to swim in it, I'm considering just getting a different one and hanging that in there as his hide out. But it was soooo cute! Cause heres this sassy betta, hiding his darkness in a dark filter!
It was kawaii! heart whee

well the cutest thing Gill has done so far is snuggle his water heater like a puppy snuggles your leg..

it was i looked over at him and he was snuggling it i just started laughing at him cause i had never seen a fish do anything like that b4.

I dunno 'bout cute stories. xD
Well, there was Myrrdins old behavior around me and my mother... he definitely recognized us when we entered the room, and when he was younger he used to follow my finger around the edge of his bowl.
My newer betta, Jizabel, is quite the boy. xD
He's very into what goes on outside his two gallon tank...
He also has this little plastic rock structure thing with holes in it... So he pretty much swims into there, very slowly... then pops out of the hole and swims towards me with his fins up and his gills out. xd

My first betta fish play-bowed like a dog.
My second betta fish could do barrel rolls.
My sorority girls like to swarm my hand when I do anything in their tank, and don't fin n** eachother.
My cutest story doesn't go to my betta fish though. That actually belongs to my porcupine puffer, who chases lazer pointers and sticks himself to the filter for attention. (Don't worry, he's perfectly capable of swimming away on his own.)
