Position 11-20
11. Zoo Keeper- 8.5/10 Jalkazar: 8.5/10 Fast puzzle gameplay. This game opened my eyes for the puzzle genre and I can't wait to get my hands on Meteos after this.
11. Resident Evil: Deadly Silence- 8.5/10 altoid_mastea: 8.5/10 This obviously is a remake of the first resident evil game. The game sports an all new rebirth mode, which, you guessed it: uses puzzles with the stylus and microphone. The thing is, rebirth mode is somewhat different from the classic mode, but adds together. The gameplay is fun, and still has those wierd puzzles that piece together (sneaky, sneaky Capcom). But, like all games, this one has a downside. In rebirth mode, there really isn't nothing new to see here, aside from the puzzles. Sometimes you have to look TOO closely for clues, and leaves you stuck and pissed off. The beginning movie mode is HIDEOUS real people cosplay the game's characters, making it very cheesy and corny. Other than that, the game is pretty solid.
11.Lunar biggrin ragon Song- 8.5/10 Worlds Tallest Midget: 8.5/10 --Kinda easy and short, especialy the second half. Nothing special about it to make it better than other RPGs. It's good enough, I guess, but I'd recommend waiting to get it preowned or at least a price drop.
14. Zoo Tycoon DS-8.4/10 Altoid-masta: 8.4/10 --Well, this game is pretty much like it's PC counterpart, with fun little animals you can buy. The game is very addicting, and the unlockables are fun to get. the Tutorial, surprisingly enough, thoroughly explains how the game works. Very simple and fun. But, the game can save one game at a time, so eventually you're going to want to make another zoo, that is bigger and better. The animal exhibits demand a lot, unfortunatly, but it isn't too hard to meet their standards. I can't say the game is gets boring, becuase once you're done with one animal, just sell 'em and replace them with new animals! And, another great part of the game is that you can over-price your zoo, just like today's zoos and theme parks! (but that isn't too smart, now is it?) I haven't played the game for so long (which would be an hour or two) that all the blood circulation from my right hand has made it numb. So, in my opinion, get this game until Shogun Empire, Real Time Conflict and Age of Empires: Kings come out.
14. The Urbz-8.4/10 Antoid_masta: 8.4/10 --Good game, has an extra area that the GBA verison didnt, a $40 well spent. it is fun to try to buy all the items, and be richer, but the game needs a form of mutilplayer, I think. and the cheats are easy to accuire, so in case there is a mission that requires you to upgrade a skill, just show up at the right place, and but them for a small price, 1 of everything you can upgrade, even cash. the xizzles are fun to collect too, which gives you special abilites, like when you get a hover board, theres a xizzle that allows you to move faster
14. Sonic Rush 8.4/10 Jalkazar: 8.4 -- The first two levels made me want to samash the, literally. I hated it so much. But then it grew on me. The third level and up were pure happiness. Incredebly fast and graphicly amazing. Pure 100% speed right into my heart.
17. Super Mario 64 DS- 8.26/10 Blued13: 8.0/10 --It was a simple port, had some more stuff in it and improved graphics, so that helped it out. Jalkazar: 8.5/10 -- The game is as always a masterpiece but the controls are a bit to unprecise for some lvls Tweek819: 9/10 --This game is alot of fun, a bit more confusing than the original but took me a while to beat and i love games like that. the multiplayer is very competitive and the best game i've played multiplayer, but i would have liked more levels. the "Rec Room" was a good addition from the originaland a good way to kill time. there could have been a better variety of mini-games though."Adventure" mode is a good solid adventure. If you've played and beaten the old one, your not missing much Felix45: 9/10 --Again with the multiplayer emphasis, if you allready have this game for your 64 and you don't have 4 people to play it with, don't buy it. Multiplayer has most of the fun. Me and my friends love to play tag on it, it works perfectly. Just construct your own rules and have fun! Single player is also really great, but again, if you allready have it for 64 and no friends to play it with, dont buy it. it just isn't worth it for only single player ayukichan: 8.5/10 --It's cool to play Mario 64 on the go and all, but it would have been better if it were an all new Mario game. Still the added elements make it more fun and I still come back to it every now and then. The touch screen doesn't work for me but I think the pad is just fine. Worlds Tallest midget: 7.8/10 --At least as good as the original, although it loses points because of the fact that it's a remake. Killythefox: 7/10 -- If you know the N64 version then this game showed you 2/3 of what it has to offer to you already. The remaining 1/3 are extra levels/stars to capture, a lot of pretty fun mini games and the option to be various characters. However, it being a remake almost every N64 gamer had/has it's far from the new Mario game we probably wished it was for the DS. I also found it a shame that i lost Yoshi so quickly after starting the game as it was really fun going around with the green dino. Good fun but more of an "evolution" then "revolution" game wise.
18. Age of Empires: The age of Kings- 8/10
Capt. Confusticus: 8/10 -- This game is fun. i just bought it 4 days ago, and i can't put it down. you choose one of 5 kingdoms or tribes and try to conquer the known world. this time, it's turn based, which makes it an advance wars competitor. the variety of tecnologies you can reasearch is good, especially when u get to the third age, the castle age. aging up isn't hard, u need to reasearch a number of techs and pay a fee of food and gold. u get these materials by creating mills, farms, and mines. combat requires strategy, with units of one type being better than the other. for example, the knights pwn most infantry and ranged units, but when they face pikemen, soldiers with spears, they get massacerd. there are 3 combat items i don't like; the fact that units sometimes don't die and get health between 9 and 1, and the fact that some units, like scout calvary, and supposed to decimate enemy infantry, but they get decimated themselves. also, the fact that u have to explore new territory and then have fog of war hinders the experiance slightly. i understand that in real life, u don't know when and where the enemy will strike, but once you explore an area, fog of war covers it, meaning enemies get an easy pass down the highy to your castle. in order to make units, you need villagers to build towns. towns start with a center and have 4 other buildings built around it, with 4 defensive towers in the corners to add defense. buildings varie from castles, to barracks, universities, and your races ultimate building, the wonder. it usually is a cathederal, saracens and franks (and possibly the mongols), to a castle, the britons and japenese. the story is of the conflicts between your chosen tribe and their enemies. for example, the first campaign is of the hundred years war between the british and the french, while you are the french hero, joan of arc, the crazy loon herself. each side has it's hero, from the saracens leader saladin, to japenese leader minamoto yoshitsume. All in all, this is a good game with little bad. if you like mideaval wars, buy this. however, if you like ultra realistic modern wars, buy advance wars.
18. Viewtiful joe: Double Trouble- 8.0/10 Lord Someguy: 8/10 -- This game wasnt as good or as difficult as the first viewtiful joe but it was still fun and innovative. You could use slow mo as one of your powers and 3 new modes. 1.Scratch- makes you scratch the screen and hurt enemys and also breaks some obstacles. 2.Split- you split the screens and drop things. 3. Slide- you slide the screen down and do more damage or press codes. You get to play as jasmine, joe's sis. There are still items introducing the V.F.O.Cons: There's no more fast . There are cool and hard bosses but only 6. It's short. Altoid_masta: 8/10 --This is the first offline game I've ever gotten every since the burst of online games. The punching slow-mo combos are still here, for those of you who love the Gamecube games. There are some new VFX moves throw in, which are used in various puzzles throughtout the game, such as VFX scratch, in which you 'scratch' the screen with your finger or stylus(better yet) and send down raining things of death down to the enemy! VFX Slide is another, where you grab the little film things moving on the bottom of the screen, and move them up or down to switch screens. How cool is that? Once you buy certain upgrades, you can use extremely powerful moves in VFX Slide mode. Now, there were some things I didn't enjoy so much. The puzzles in this game really put your brain to work, other ones just piss the hell outta you and make you wanna crush your DS to bits. The difficult puzzles even bring the action to a screeching halt. Other than that, it's smooth sailing, the final boss isn't even that hard, there's even a part where you have to fight her without your heroness (using no VFX powers). Summary: Good: Awesome combat, awesome new moves Bad: Puzzles, not much different from other Veiwtiful Joe games Better: Learn to play with your stylus in your hand to avoid a dirty touch screen.
18. Nanostray: 8.0/10 Thattagen: 8/10 --As the only shooter for the ds so far, Nanostray is a'ight. it's a fun shooter aside from the fact that it is hard on advanced mode (which is the mode for everything but adventure mode). It also has no story(a little history tidbit would be nice). Adventure mode is just a flight through different levels with a steadily increasing difficulty. The weapons are cool (front shot, seeker shot, side shot, electric shot...not real names) each with it's own sub weapon. The graphiscs are cool, being 3D and all with a top down view. you can try for high scores in arcade mode, but it is hard to actually complete the level without dying. Challenge mode lets you finish the level and complete a specific challenge to get a thing in the gallery. Nanostray is a fun shooter that needs a story.
18. Lost in Blue- 8.0/10 altoid_masta: 8.0/10 --Okies Lost in Blue is about a dude who gets washed up on an island after a terrible ship disaster at sea. early in the game, you find the female that becomes depenteant on you after a little oopsy in the beginning (he steps on her glasses) so, the game is mainly about survival, and discovering the island's hidden past. the hunting minigames are fun. However, the island isnt really that big, and days worth of preperations need to be made before adventuring the inner parts of the island. every once in a while, you need the girl to come with you for certain obstacles( i.e. a boulder) Hunting with the bow is a straight spear-in-the-a** annoyance. in that minigame, you could hit a buck in the nessecary spot to kill it, but instead, it gets scared and runs away, totally gay. making and finding items is fun too. making items after they break, not so much. if you spear or fish enough fish in the day, you can be eating as if there was no world hunger. though, there are certian areas that require you to wait for the tide to go down. one of these, however, is SO VERY ANNOYING. so, first you come to the place at the right tide, you see a cut scene were kieth runs past the water. that area contains the mother load of bamboo, used for traps and flexible weapons. however, when I came back, I noticed that the tide had went up again and I couldn't get back. though there are highlights. like beign able to make a spear with bamboo instead of a wooden stick, which gives it different attributes, like it'd be more flexible, but not as durable as a wooden stick would. so you'd have to make your weapons wisely. and alternate endings spice up the game, and after you complete the game, a new mode is unlocked, and you get to play as the female, skye. the manual also spoke of another mode after that, giving it more replay value.

22. Warioware: Touched!- 7.95/10 Antoid_masta: 9.5/10 --I love this game! I recommend this game to anyone who owns a DS. the minigames arent too repetitive, and no brian crunching puzzle, just solid gameplay. though the minigames with the microphone do make you dizzy, so I'd recommend long breaks after those. the unlockables are fun too. ayukichan: 8/10 --Waaaaaaaay overrated. Touched isn't as charming as the original, though like Kirby you do unlock stuff. Still it's fun while it lasts because of all the clever gameplay mixes. Killythefox: 7.5/10 -- As previous games the mini games are fun and quick but ultimately it'll start to wear down on being fun. This game really is about improving yourself over time then completing much to any real story. Fun to boot up for some quick gameplay but in over all, it loses it's shine pretty quickly. Jalkazar: 6.8 -- I had the highest of expectations on this game only to see them all crushed. I'm not saying it's a bad game, it's simply not godd enough for me. After like an hour you've beaten the game and the only fun there's left is unlocking mini-games that are usually funny for 5 minutes. Some shorter, like the grand-ma simulator. Gives you a laugh but nothing you'll ever look at again.
23. Yoshi's touch and go- 7.5/10 Jalkazar: 9/10 -- The game is a bit short but the frantic fast puzzle/platform gaming makes up for it. Throw eggs at everything as fast as you can as accurate as you can, masterpiece. Killythefox: 6/10 -- This game was a bit of an disappointment. Not that it isn't fun, but it's not really a game as for that it's just to limited. The game feels just as much a mini game as the mini games that go with it. It is challenging, and the visuals are nice though nothing wow, as much as you would expect from SNES with updated effects. This game will keep you busy but it's more thanks to it's additional mini games. As it was one of the first games out for the DS it does hat it was really meant to do. Show off the power of the stylus with a dash of Yoshi but nothing more.
23. The sims 2- 7.5/10 Altoid_masta: 7.5/10 --It's a good game. you are put in charge of a hotel in a town in the middle of nowhere. I like the game becuase it gives you more clothing options. but, the minigames to cheer people up and stuff is way too annoying, creative, but not too smart. the house adjusting is pretty wierd. becuase some thigns are big and need to have a certain amount of room around it, so dressers and stuff are litterally in the middle of the room. but, you can build rooms and such, so more guests can come in, and more money. the game is in full 3D (a nice touch) the game also runs in real time (the time you have set on the DS is the time the game goes by) so no more 1 second=1 minute thing. you can also link up to trade paintings and play games.
23. Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits- 7.5/10 Felix45: 6.5/10 --It was allright, gets very repeditive though. You can do various things and modes, but it is mostly just mashing A and trying to get to the bottom without killing yourself as fast as possible. Multiplayer is allright, it is just like a ghost race really though, and you can't do much to affect the other player. Killythefox: 8.5/10 -- If you like old skool puzzle games then this game is for you! The various different modes all have different rules to keep you busy. The game looks pretty good and stays pretty faithful to the arcade version. The only thing i don't like is that the items you can buy to give you certain advantages or help are made so that your high score using them are worthless as they don't count which makes most items pretty useless. This game is ether a hit or loss with you. If you can't get addicted to it or feel it's charm you might not enjoy it and find it pretty boring after a while so actually renting this or trying it from a friend is a good idea to see if it's the game for you.
26. Polarium- 7.25/10 Blued13: 7/10 --No one seems to like this game, so I haven't played much of the versus mode, and it's that and the puzzle mode that keeps you in the game. Once you finish puzzle mode, there's not as much fun... Altoid_masta: 7.5/10 --Fun and simplistic puzzle game, very addictive, with brain crunching puzzles that taunt you. but eventually the gamplay gets boring, but fun to play every once in a while.
27. Project rub (Feel the magic XX/XY)- 7.0/10 Jalkazar: 7/10 -- This game has funny but way two few minigames (around 25 I think) so you only get 1-2 hours decent gameplay. Tweek819: 7/10 --Feel The Magic is the story of a crazy guy with a helmet going to incredible lengths to reach the girl of his dreams. And to do so, he must go through mindless mini-games to protect her. it has about 2-3 hrs of solid gameplay but there is still more to unlock afterward. there could have been far more mini-games. As far as fun is concerned, even in the most frustrating moments of the game, the quirky music will comfort you.Bottom line: it is worth at least a rent if not a purchase
28. Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory 6.5/10 Worlds Tallest Midget: 6.5/10 --Too short, repetitive, just not very good. Maybe get it if you have lots of money to blow on crappy
28. Tenchu: Dark Secrets- 6.5/10 altoid_masta: 6.5/10 I got this game thinking I was going to drop some fools over Nintendo WFC. Nope, online Tenchu sports a strange Wi-Fi market, that I haven't acsessed yet. Online you can buy, sell, and trade goods to friends and strangers. I believed that this game would've been a little more glorified onlineness. Anyway, to the single player game. The story is kind of bland, you need to take care of a princess that got nailed with an arrow. All 40 missions in the game all get a little repetitive after the 3rd mission, switching between killing all foes to win, and save the villager. Occasionally you'll get hit up with a boss mission or saving a villager without being seen. The AI is brain dead, and the maps get re-used too much. However, there is a little fun in the game. Switching your killing styles get a little fun. Try dropping some poison rice, a bamboo trap infront of it, let the bandit (or whatever) eat it, throw a firecracker, and watch the show. If you kill people in different ways, you'll see a little picture come up on the bottom screen. There's a gallery in which you can look at the kills in-between missions. But really, the game isn't worth buying. If you're a tenchu fan, go for it. If you like ninja games with the world's stupidest AI, this is your game.
30. Bomberman DS 6/10 Felix45: 6/10 --Another game heavily reliant on multiplayer, do not buy unless you have upwards of 4 people to play with. Single player is allright, but multiplayer is amazing. Puts the mic and touchscreen to use, but not that much. It is like any classic bomberman game, bombs explode in grid pattern after a certain amount of time, and there are powerups to increase bomb length, amount of bombs, etc. Killythefox: 6/10 --First of all, i did not buy this game to play with various friends. I'm a Bomberman fan and wanted a good story mode Bomberman since it's SNES day's. Of course this game is a lot more meant for multi player as have most newer Bomberman games but it was worth buying anyhow. A very odd *glitch* i had in the game was that wen i first started new game started in world 8 for no reason at all and had items like nothing yet wen i made a new game on file B i started normally at level 1-1 with no items and actually an into to the map. Very odd.. I wish i could rate this game higher based on my experience but the story mode bit is deprived of any sense of story at all. A mayor letdown if your like me, a single player who wanted a single player Bomberman story. I bet the multiplayer part makes a lot good but i feel a bit cheated out by Ubisoft.
31. Asphalt Urban GT- 5.5/10 Antoid_masta: 5.5/10 --Okay, this game is a little better, with drift that actually WORKS. and being able to buy all the cars and tuning them gives it a little bit of replay value, but not much. the graphics are good for a DS game. however, the game doesnt congragulate you when you beat the game, and at one point, races become rank massacres. so, I wouldnt recommend this game, unless you like a crappy version of Gran Turismo.
32. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent- 5.16/10 Antoid_masta: 7.5/10 --Okay, so I had some fun with is game, mainly because its an FPS game, other than MPH, and the abilties that you can unlock are fun. but, the VR missions grow to be a pain in the a**, so in normal mode I beat it with only one ability. though there are some cool ones I read in the booklet., like there is an ability of which you can throw people, with your little eye thing. there is also an ability where you can hack someone's gun so they reload automatically, so it buys you time. but the difficulty levels arent level with anyones skill, making missons harder and harder and an uneven level. other than that the game is solid. Jalkazar: 6/10 --This game has one of the worst storymode ever but if you have a few friends with a DS this makes a fairly decent game. Felix45: 2/10 --This is just plain a crap game. Horrible multiplayer, and horrible single player. Only reason I didn't give it a 0 is because of the originality of using powers, but that is it. The aimer is same throughout, weather you are holding a pistol or a rocket launcher, and same with the reload time. They really just made a crap game in my opinion. Wish I had never bought it. stupid peer pressure.
33. Ridge racer DS- 4.25/10 Antoid_masta: 3.5/10 --This game SUCKS. the drift funtion is crap, graphics are muddy, and most races stand right next to impossible. this is how bad I want to get rid of it. Felix45: 5/10 --Basicly, I switched this into halves. one half of the game is single player, and the other multi. Single player sucks, do not buy the game unless you know you have upwards of 4 people to play it with. Now, the thing that makes this game great, multiplayer. It is incredibly fun to play multiplayer because of some glitches, and just running into people because of the crap physics system. Crazy stuff that is really funny happens when you run into people, but by far the most fun thing is getting into a 5 car pileup. oh man.
34. Ping Pals- 4.0/10 Jujufoot: 4/10 -- Unless you have at least 1 freind over at all times this game is pointless and boring.multi player is kinda fun though.

nintendogs- 8.9/10
fun game, being able to collect other secret items is fun, and unlocking new puppies from other versions. however, constantly having to take care of it gets annoying, and eventually your dogs walks are so long you make them run the whole way, very annoying. other than that, dog lovers should scoop this game up, if they can find it
ridge racer DS-3.5/10
this game SUCKS. the drift funtion is crap, graphics are muddy, and most races stand right next to impossible. this is how bad I want to get rid of it.

i havent played too many but i'll act like my opinon matters
Super Mario 64 DS 9/10 this game is alot of fun, a bit more confusing than the original but took me a while to beat and i love games like that. the multiplayer is very competitive and the best game i've played multiplayer, but i would have liked more levels. the "Rec Room" was a good addition from the originaland a good way to kill time. there could have been a better variety of mini-games though."Adventure" mode is a good solid adventure. If you've played and beaten the old one, your not missing much
Meteos10/10 basically, really colorful tetris on crack. a really fast-paced puzzle game where you try to stop the evil planet meteo from taking over the universe. there is about a 20-minute learning curve and once you learn you won't want to put it down. I've had it scince August and I still haven't beaten it 100%. Definitely worth an addition to your collection
XX/XY feel the magic7/10 Feel The Magic is the story of a crazy guy with a helmet going to incredible lengths to reach the girl of his dreams.

Meteos: 11/10
-Best ds game to date! I love it! I have unlocked everything and im still havin a great time with it. Replay value is near infinite, because you will be constantly striving to beat your old scores and challenging yourself with matches against five-star opponents. So many endings, too! Lots of unlockables. This is a must have.
------------------------- i will be doing reviews on seperate posts for more gold.

Nintendogs: 9.5/10
-Nintendogs is like an ultra-realistic tomagotchi that won't run out of batteries. The dogs are so lifelike and easy to love. They closely resemble their real life counterparts. Trying to unlock dogs and items is fun. So is teaching your dog tricks (which isn't recommended to be done in a car or on a plane or etc.). The only downside is that the dogs sometimes confuse tricks that sound almost nothing alike. I have noticed that longer commands work best. All in all, dog lover or not, you will love Nintendogs (unless you are one of those people who think it is "gay").

Nanostray: 8/10
-As the only shooter for the ds so far, Nanostray is a'ight. it's a fun shooter aside from the fact that it is hard on advanced mode (which is the mode for everything but adventure mode).

Advance Wars : Dual Strike 9.8/10 Just plain a great game. I dont really know how to explain it, it is just a great addition to a great series, but I can't really decide if I like AW2 or AW biggrin S better. to get a feel of AW, go to this site and you can play with people all over the world. http://www.amarriner.com/awbw/Ridge Racer 5/10 Basicly, I switched this into halves. one half of the game is single player, and the other multi. Single player sucks, do not buy the game unless you know you have upwards of 4 people to play it with. Now, the thing that makes this game great, multiplayer. It is incredibly fun to play multiplayer because of some glitches, and just running into people because of the crap physics system. Crazy stuff that is really funny happens when you run into people, but by far the most fun thing is getting into a 5 car pileup. oh man. Mario 64 DS 9/10 Again with the multiplayer emphasis, if you allready have this game for your 64 and you don't have 4 people to play it with, don't buy it. Multiplayer has most of the fun. Me and my friends love to play tag on it, it works perfectly. Just construct your own rules and have fun! Single player is also really great, but again, if you allready have it for 64 and no friends to play it with, dont buy it. it just isn't worth it for only single player Kirby Canvas Curse 9/10 I loved the game, my first game to really use the touch screen. Very addictive single player, but no multiplayer, or replay value at that. So, this is a good game to buy, beat within a week at 100%, then sell back or try to get all of your money refunded by giving the complaint you didn't like it. only reason it didn't get a 10 is because there is no replay value. Meteos 10/10 another great game for the touch screen. The only puzzle game I have ever liked either, so if you never liked puzzle games, do not rule this game out. It is incredibly fun, and again I will say, the multiplayer is amazingly fun. I can never get enough. others have allready reviewed it, so read their reviews. Bomberman DS (forgot actual name) 6/10 another game heavily reliant on multiplayer, do not buy unless you have upwards of 4 people to play with. Single player is allright, but multiplayer is amazing. Puts the mic and touchscreen to use, but not that much. It is like any classic bomberman game, bombs explode in grid pattern after a certain amount of time, and there are powerups to increase bomb length, amount of bombs, etc. Goldeneye : Rouge Agent 2/10 This is just plain a crap game. Mr. Driller Drill Spirits 6.5/10 it was allright, gets very repeditive though. You can do various things and modes, but it is mostly just mashing A and trying to get to the bottom without killing yourself as fast as possible. Multiplayer is allright, it is just like a ghost race really though, and you can't do much to affect the other player.
