We all have things that bring us down. One of my tops is music. Most of it,but not all,is rap.My brother listens to Lil Wayne(Very Dirty Rap artist) and he is...just nasty! He talks about a girl doing...gross stuff to him. Not to menchin cuss words. Another big one for me,is cuss words. Im proud to say, that Ive only said each cuss word(The big ones, anyway) once. Ive never been so mad in my life, but I dont remember what I was mad at...Anyway,It brings on so much negativity.I dont care If you stubed your toe, dont say them!!! My friends are cuss aholics. The dont and wont stop. But,Ive minimized what comes out of their moths around me. What brings you down? heart

Well, God says simply don't cuss. The only time I ever cussed was my first year in public school. It lasted from about January to May in the school year. Don't get me wrong, i wasn't an avid cusser or a major holic. Just everynow and again I would burst. But, God doesn't want me to "burst", so I stopped.

um...thing that bring me down are...

~While she's pondering her response, I'll throw in mine!! ^_~

Whats that bring me down is laziness. I get really irritated when I see people being really lazy. Like doing nothing for a week straight, doing the smallest amount of school just to get by or complaining when they've been given a chore.
I'm an oldest child, so as you can imagine I've always been moms helper, and for a long time it was just me and her taking care of the house when my siblings were babies.

So now that really gets me. I might be walking in love all day but then that's the sort of thing that throws me off.
(Lord help me! I'm getting better!)~

A long time ago I had lots of faith
faith in humanity
faith in leaders
faith in God

ya'll get the idea

as the years passed I started to ask questions
why do people do what they do?

long story short
I'm still a smart a** and my faith has nearly disappeared

so with that
what brings me down?
doesn't take much really but the one thing that will send me into a week long rant is

people who take an oath...and knowingly and willfully against council disregard their oath

Well, there's a lot of things that get me down...
Certain people, ideals, hypocrites, 'masks', etc.
Even myself from time to time, and I'll always see these things and rant about them.

I guess the thing that really, REALLY gets me down is when I'm at the point of ranting so much about a certain person or thing that I start to slow down and think.
And I don't mean think as in rant about it even more, but think as in philosophize. When I question things to an extent that I fall into my thoughts so deeply that it seems far too much for me to fathom.

Basically- when I'm thinking too hard.

Because whenever I think waaaaay too hard about something, it'll never have an end to it and I'll simply just STOP thinking about it,
and I'll be even more confused leaving the thought than when I'd begun to think about it.

Did any of that make sense?

I have a friend that thinks too hard
then she stops breathing because she forgets
then she has a panic attack...and not good times follows

How much I talk about people. Like, in a bad way, behind their backs. I know it isn't right, but I can't stop myself. I've really been trying to cut back, and God's been a real help with that. But I don't really think about it at the time, I just say it. Then later, looking back on it, I feel really bad. I mean, not only is it mean and wrong, but I'm also being a negative influence on my friends by encouraging that kind of behavior.

My youth pastor just said something on this. =] And then it got me thinking-
If you catch yourself talking about someone behind their backs, maybe it's a note from God, telling you you should pray. Either for yourself, that person, or both.

Though my youth pastors words were to the effect of- you can use prayer as an excuse for gossiping. XD "I think they need prayer... *wink wink* "
LOL he was only slightly joking.

I had never really thought of that before. That's a good point.

What brings me down is when people beat up on themselves for things they couldn't prevent and they blame themeselves for whatever happened
