I was listening to Rush with my good friend Cool Hand Jay the other day, and I realized just how amazing of a song 2112 is (the... A side of the record I think... sweatdrop ). Its so good, in fact, that I believe it deserves its own thread.
This song is genious. Enough said.
Actually, one more thing... what are your opinions on the song?
(If I screwed up the poll question thing, let me know please. biggrin )

You forgot Presentation in the poll...Discovery and Presentation are my favorite movements, although I'll spend twenty plus minutes listening to the entire thing anytime. 2112 isn't just a song, it's a statement about censorship of art, and it's a story that Neil Peart tells like an epic.

Temple of Syrinx is amazing! i heart how high Geddy's voice goes! and i also like Discovery and Presentation.

2112 is also one of my favorite albums as well, Roll the Bones being a close second.

2112 has always been and will always be my favorite. Presentation has always been my favorite track on the record. I love the guitar solo that Alex has and the lyrics are timeless.
When we were looking for a house to by in Baltimore, the realtor took us to a new house being built and believe it or not, the house number was 2112. We bought that house, and when the movers came with out furniture and stuff, Temples was playing on their radio. It was karma that I live in that house for 11 years.
