The Moon Clan; in its time, it was the strongest shinobi group in the world. Their Kekkei Genkai, the Ryugan made their light and dark halves merge into a super being, capable of untold destructive power. But because of this, their negative emotions -anger, envy, hatred, etc- were dangerous, and had to kept in line.
This district is now barren after the night in which the entire Moon Clan was killed by their main successor, Moon, Phoenix. The day he unlocked his Ryugan, the Kekkei Genkai warped Phoenix's mind and body, turning him into the escence of his inner darkness, Zetsumei. The demon slaughtered the clan in a single night, and was finally stopped by the Chikarasu and the Koumori.
Phoenix is the last member of the Moon Clan alive. And since that night, Zetsumei has not shown himself in the open. However, since his spirit remains in Phoenix, both the Chikarasu and Koumori treat the boy with suspition and caution.

Phoenix appears in front of the gate leading to the Clan District. He walked through the gate and as soon as he entered, his left eye turned red and that of a Dragon. Zetsumei talked. "So, you have come back to our beginning. What are you doing here of all Places?" Phoenix looked around and kept walking look at different Places as he walked around.
Phoenix stopped at a building and looked at it. It was a big building compared to the other places in the District. Phoenix looked at it and then talked to Zetsumei. "Why did we destroy our clan? Even though we fused, we shouldn't have killed them all or started that Slaughter." Zetsumei laughed. He made Phoenix smile. "We did it because when we combine fully, we just want to kill and burn everyone and anything. That's why. I would be more careful now that you have the Wings of the Sky."
Phoenix walked into the house and it had pictures of him as a family and then he looked at his brother and smiled again. He missed his whole family. "I know the second stage is the Wings of the Sky, which makes it harder to control my emotions. I just don't want to get the 3rd stage."
"Well, yeah. The perfect form means that you have to fully combine again with your dark side and that is bad. Even I'm not that evil to want to slaughter that many people again." Phoenix nodded as he went up stairs and started to have flash backs of when he was a kid. He was smiling as this happened.

This was among the places people would never think of finding Kuro. He tended to stay out of any matters regarding the Moon Clan; their Kekkei Genkai was one of the few things he actually saw as a threat to his life. A movement in a nearby second-story window caught his eye. He vanished into his shadow and emerged in the room, and saw Phoenix looking at pictures of people who looked dissly like him. "Phoenix. How's it going? Shouldn't you be hanging with the Yoinokuchi?"

Phoenix turned to Kuro still one of his eyes was that of a dragon. "Oh, hey Kuro. I just thought I would come back here." "Though I didn't think a living soul in Kage would come here expect me and Phoenix." Phoenix just sighed. "We are the same person Zetsumei. Kind of hard for us not to be here together." He looked back up to Kuro and saw that he wasn't looking the way he normally did.
"hey, Kuro, Anything wrong? You don't seem to be yourself." "Yeah, it looks like someone you know got ran over by a carriage or something." Phoenix just sighed again at Zetsumei's comment.

"Well, aside from being talked to by Zetsumei... I just came back from the Heroes' Shrine, more specifically my old organization's graves." The night they were killed; that was the first and only time Kuro had cried in his entire life. He remembered it clearly. He had Bianca in his arms as she was dying. One of his tears dropped her and she smiled... then died. After that, nothing could make him that sad again.

"I see. I still can't go there yet. I don't deserve to see everyone's graves after what I did. People still hold it against me for it but I go on with my every day life as usual." Phoenix smirks but its the fake smirk he always uses. "Coming back here just reminds me of my crimes and the blood I spill. Its a good remembrance to never let my anger out again." Phoenix smiles but then remembers that day in his mind.
His left arm starts to turn light shade of black but doesn't realize it.

"It seems we both have pasts we would much rather forget." Kuro may have lost a few friends and a potential future wife, but Phoenix not only lost his whole family, but at his own hand no less. Honestly, Kuro would much rather have his situation than Phoenix's. Just then, he noticed Phoenix's discolored left arm, and pointed at it. "You get frostbite or something?" he asked jokingly, not knowing the full extent of just what the discoloration was.

Phoenix was confused for a minute and then looked at his arm. His face widened and then took out what looks to be some pills. He swallows on and the black goes away. "That would of been bad if I didn't realize that before it reached my Darkness mark. Its something that comes with my life so that Yamikage and Naruto made these pills for my clan but I'm the only one left to use them. Sometimes I can get close to full transformation if I'm not careful. It moves faster if I'm seriously angry." He puts the pills back into my pocket.

"You mean you would merge with Zetsumei again" Kuro said bluntly. He usually didn't get involved with Moon Clan matters -in fact, the Chikarasu and Koumori only came in because Shadow Blossom refused- but he still knew enough to get by. He figured changing the subject to something that would make Phoenix hapier would be a good idea. "So how bad have you been screwing with the Yoinokuchi? I already informed Yamikage-sama that the mission was going well in the report I filed, but I wouldn't mind hearing things in detail."

Phoenix looked back up and started to think. "Well, We have Kazune on our side now or well, he is more of a means to an end. I don't trust him but I'm using him. I've never really trusted an Uchiha as far as I could through them. Then there is That Zetsu clansmen that is on my side but more or less I'm paying half of the mission complete reward. Now, they have a couple of plans. Infiltrate here and take Yamikage-sama out while someone distracts you with "That" guy but really just one of the members of the Yoinokuchi. Then there is to attack during the Chuunin exams. Oh yeah, I just found out that the Akatsuki leader has the Raneegan or what ever that thing was called. Also, there are 2 kids with the group. 2 specific Hyuuga kids that are the children of Hinata's sister and one of your old friends."
Phoenix looks out the window. "Saya is a hard to deal with and I really don't want to kill those kids if I don't have to." Phoenix gets up from the bed and goes over to a wall and punches through it. He takes off a cover revealing a sword. "Good its still here. With this I'm now at a Hundred percent."
The blade was different from his regular blade. It was blood red and had a blade design of a dragon on it. It gave off an evil aura. Phoenix hesitated to take it but took it non the less. He unsheathed it and a red chakra glow came off of it. The blade had hate, sorrow, angry and the stench of death. He sheathed it and put it on his waist.

An old friend who has twin Hyuuga children? That must have been Komoku. He'd had an affair with Hyuuga, Hanabi years ago, but Kuro never thought that he got her pregnant, let alone with twins. Come to think of it, Hanabi did disappear after Komoku's death, so not much was known about her. "There have to be some negative quirks if they aren't pure-blood Hyuuga. Hazuki-kun for example, his Byakugan is less than impressive, and Hiyomi can't perform basic Jukken tecniques. This is because both Hinata and Neji married outside the clan." Kuro's eye then caught the sword Phoenix was holding. "Nice" he muttered.

Phoenix Nodded. "Yeah its true. They only have on eye that has the Byakugan. I haven't seen much of there skill though but it seems the people that still are genins will try to join the Chuunin exams for experience after training. I've still seeing if Saya will let Kyouran Join but he is very on edge right now." Phoenix then walks out of the house and goes outside. He gets to some training dummy outside and takes a stance and has one hand on the new sword. He tries to draw it but his hand is shaking. Memories flash in his mind again and he moves his hand away.
"Damn. I still can't draw the Subeta No Ketsueki Mokushi. I guess I have to keep trying later on with it."

Kurotsume followed Phoenix and watched as he failed to draw the sword. Obviously, it had some kind of connection with the Moon Clan, but Kuro was reluctant to ask what the connection was, fearing he might come off as offensive. So he changed the subject again. "Kyouran huh? What's that guy been up to?"

Phoenix tried to draw it again but failed. He was close this time but memories of his past came back up. He mumbles. "Damn bastards of the Chikarasu and Koumori clan had to name my sword that damn name." He turned around and saw Kuro and he sighed. "He's been fine. killing S-rank criminals and stuff." He now glared at Kuro. "Ask your questions. I know your one to wonder about stuff and its annoying me when you sit there pondering them. I won't be offended."

Kuro smirked almost arrogantly, a trait Kaoru always hated him for doing. "If it annoys you so much, I won't pry. Anything in particular you're curious about? It is rare that Yamikage-sama assigns us both the same mission after all. We never seem to chat much."
