Break (“Will You?”)
The crest of a wave knows no desire
Whilst glass, it seeks no thrill
Yet things such as these break
Like the power of man’s will
No boat has ever wished to sink
Nor towards captain it rebel
But shouts of “iceberg!”
Saved not one, the night Titanic fell
We know desire-we seek a thrill
So shameless in our stride
That Mother Nature, strong as she is
No longer us can chide
We wonder why we loose our way
Why our wills must always lapse
But find respite in the fact that
Great Rome, it did collapse
Remember now and hold this true
As long as you will live
That you only gain as much from life
As you can serve to give
Will is the key to knowledge
Thus the key to power too
Now all that remains is to ask your self-
“Will You?”
The crest of a wave knows no desire
Whilst glass, it seeks no thrill
Yet things such as these break
Like the power of man’s will
No boat has ever wished to sink
Nor towards captain it rebel
But shouts of “iceberg!”
