 Fursuiting is a big part of Furry Lifestyle.
By no means do you have to make or own or wear a fursuit to claim yourself a furry.
But the concept of it is a big part of the fandom's image.
Kind of like how black clothes are an image of Gothic subculture.
Its our Ceremonial garb in a sense.
I have a few sources and have created a couple of Fursuits myself.
So if you have any questions about construction, price, performance, and more about Fursuiting just bring it all here. Also share pictures or ideas if you want.

I don't like fursuits...but i wouldn't mind wearing one to creep out the locals as long as they didn't know it was me..((I'm very selfconscious))

That lynx on, in the pic, is awesome. Even if it is just the head. @__@ As is that green one.
Those things need to be cheaper/not as hot :3 Errr, hot in the 'It burns!' way.

Those things need to be cheaper/not as hot :3 Errr, hot in the 'It burns!' way. They're not *THAT* hot. And I believe they are very much worth their prices. One day you'll get a job and be able to save up for a few months to pay for one. Or build one yourself. MixedCandy is a very elite builder of fursuits. The ones in the picture are mostly MC fursuits. Their stuff is atleast over 1,000$ for a commission. On Full suits atleast. You can always get partials like that lynx you see. So it is even more airy. Many other makers would probably make it for cheaper. I know one, (forget her name) makes fursuits for just the material cost (its nice to donate too though) just for the sake of getting more fursuits out there. You could try to make it yourself. Daxter altogether cost me about 300$. For me thats less than one pay check. And you feel real accomplished after you've finished your project.

A thousand dollars is a lot, and I have more important things to save up for. I should get a job -soon-, though. As soon as my parents get the 'paper again, I'm searching it. As for making one, well, I'm not exactly gifted with a needle, thread, and fabric. Infact, I'd be more prone to stabbing myself. Lots.

You'd be amazed how much you make at first.

I was once 15 too.
I kept my eye on Fursuits since I first went to Disney World pretty much.

I'll start on construction once my next pay check comes in. Cause I'm low on funds which need to be sent to various places.
Its going to be a blue Cat. But he has no pupils in his eyes. Just blank white circles.
