Welcome to the newbie quest where you can learn how to do other quest and get a free trophy for your collection! All quest are to be roleplayed and will have requirements and sometimes pre-quest you have to have completed before you can do that one. Just be sure to read all the info in the first post! - Staff Butterfly Newbie Quest A simple quest to practice with. RequiredMust have completed: none Items: Net Words Required At least one paragraph What paragraph means The way I want you to think of it is how my English teacher made me do it. A paragraph is SIX(6) sentences long, with at least 5 words in each sentence. So keep that in mind, I wont nitpick a few off, but don't do single sentences. + 5pts for Butterfly + 25pts for Quest + Quest Trophy Form[b]Username[/b]:

Takashi was resting in his usual high spot among the his favorite tree when a pretty pink butterfly floated by him. He opened on eye to watch it as it rested for a minute dangerously close to him. His eyes narrowed and as he reached out to nab it, it floated off quickly. He stood and gave a quick chase, bouncing from limbs and finally, when it landed he pounced. He smirked as he looked under his paws and the little butterfly was caught! He quickly ate it, to the dismay of Kalie who watched below -- "Yuck!" D:

Hiding in a tree high above ground, Aiden is enjoying the nice breeze and eating a carrot he had stashed a few days earlier. Just then a blue butterfly flutter passed his ear, and landed on a lower branch staring at it he pretends not to see it and starts eating his carrot. The butterfly flutters to a slightly higher branch where Aiden saw his chance to nab it He swings his paw and catches it and nearly falls off the branch he landed on. Chen seeing this whole thing just laughed and said "I knew you hid those carrots up there but next time use the net i gave you to catch that bugger ok?"

Young little Arran was snoozing away under the tree, as usual. His owner, Panda was laying in the tree lazily, bored out of her mind. A small butterfly fluttered over the fence, tasting the flowers, and whatnot. Then he swooped down and landed on Arran's nose. The little child-blob awoke with a startle! " OOOOO! Panda, Panda, Panda! LOOOOOOK! A butterfly!" Arran jumped up, and the butterfly began to flutter off.
"WE MUST PURSUE IT! Over the hill, and into the deep dark jungle where no one goes in, or out, then over the long narrow suspension bridge, and through a deep spooky cav--" Panda had jumped down and caught the butterfly in the net. "No jungles, bridges or caves. Just a swing of the net little Arran." She said with a laugh. Half-pouting, Arran stared at the butterfly, wishing he'd caught it.

It had started out like any other day. Eiryn had lost something as usual, and had decided that it was too nice a day to search for it inside. Still Devin didn't understand why he didn't just keep his room tidy instead of constantly having to search for things. He thought of a clean bedroom to sleep in and then decided it was nicer to have stuff to sleep on and crawl through instead.
While day dreaming about these things he suddenly ran into his red wagon. "Ouch!" he murmured while rubbing his head gently and peering with dismay at the wagon. The he spotted it, tiny and golden with its wings gently and slowly fluttering every so often, perched on top of the snail in the wagon. Something stirred, and moved inside and an instinct took over. 'Catch it' it said in his gut, 'catch it' it said in his mind, 'catch it' it said to every inch of him. With that he reached out his paw and gently brushed the butterfly onto his finger. He carefully cupped it with his other paw and tottered off to show Eiryn.
"what you got there little guy?" said Eiryn who crouched down to get a closer view. Gently and carefully Devin ever so slightly opened his paws so that Eiryn could get a peek at the golden treasures inside. "Wow! you caught a butterfly! lets take it inside."

Aina rolled around inside her room. She had some music playing, and had just been listening to it, but now she was bored. Outside, she heard the voice of her Shamama, probably talking about something dull and boring, but she decided to investigate anyway.
Shamama, as it turns out, was talking business on her cell phone. It was even more boring than what she usually said. Aina found her attention wondering, and noticed a flower that was blinking. Wait...blinking? She crept closer, and then...pounce! The butterfly was her's! She looked at her new treasure, and decided to call it Pretty.

Username: Silentnakedunbalanced (Sil) Pet Name: Petrushevskaya (Tru) Paragraph: (cont. from)Tru had sprouted and now 2 days old, he tried out his new jelly-like locomotive powers. Net in mouth he bounced around Sil's backyard. As Sil plaited flowers into decorations, Tru noticed a curious winged creature delicately fluttering near her ear. He hopped on over to examine it more closely. The creature took off, fluttering in the direction of the sea. Tru bounced along, following the sloping backyard to the shoreline... Sil shaded her eyes with her hand and peered into the distance at a speck on the horizon. For some reason, she suddently remembered discussion among the nobles at court of recent reports of pirate attacks on the northern coastal towns... edited; Awarded!

The sun was up and the sky was clear. Kiwi looked out the window and thought to herself; "What a nice day to go out and play." She goes to feed her pet fish and grabs her toys, including her net and makes her way to her backyard. As she steps out the door she takes a moment to breathe in the fresh air.
She spots the swings and sits on it, watching the clouds while she's swinging, listening to the sounds of nature around her. As she was looking around an orange butterfly passing by caught her eye. Orange is Kiwi's favourite colour so she had to get a closer look. She gets up slowly to go get her net that she took out with her and starts to chase the butterfly. When she was finally close enough to net it, the butterfly flutters the other way and past her fence. Kiwi sighs and mumbles, "I'll see you again someday.."
