Sakura ran through the woods as fast as she could. She knew where the clif was and where it led. Hebi's base. Maybe if she hid there they wouldn't find her...at least if Sasuke wasn't there. She could see it. The cliff. Once she ran down to the bottom using chakra charged feet, she'd be safe.
50 feet away...25...10...8. Just as she was about to stop, pain shot through her chest. She looked down. The sharp blade of a bloody Katana was sticking out of her chest. Everything seemed to be moving slowly. Sakura could feel herself falling forwards.
She knew there was a trap set nearby, 'why not?' she thought. She steped on the platform which set off several paper bombs that had been clevery hidden in the earth. The explosion knocked her forwards over the cliff. The entire cliff area fell apart.
