I know I am just pullin mainstreams from here right? Okay Bleach, First episode rocked... Why did they show it 4 times LOL! Nah but in all seriousness, Bleach to me was nothing but a bad soap opera. I missed like 3 episodes in the season... and picked right back up where it left off when I started to watch again. Sure, the Bonkai training was intense against his own sword BUT, barring that aside, there really was not very many intense moments. The only other time was against Kimpachi Zuraki and his unnamed Zambakto... But, even then... it was only 3 episodes of awesomeness followed by 15 episodes of suck.... I know I am prolly the only one to say this, and that is fine, I just wanted to start a conversation.
Questions for you
Soap opera? Or a really good action show? And why?
Does it feel like the show is dragging on?

Know the funniest thing about Bleach?
In Japan, they made it into *drum roll* a stage MUSICAL!
Yes I'm serious.
A Musical. With dancing and singing Shinigami and Ichigo and Hollows.
I will find that fact eternally amusing.
I love the series though, nonetheless. wink What can I say? The women are hot as hot can be (Nell! Ahhh nelliel... and Orihime, though she has been doing jack-crap nothing for the last ton of chapters but be the damsel in distress) and the characters are all really nifty. I am a fan of Urahara to the max. Bleach is great for comedy too. "GOOOOOODMORRRRRRNING ICHIGO!"

You are correct my friend! Orihime is like the only good reason to actually watch it! I mean sure the little fairies she commands are awesome and neat... but after seeing it like 2 times... it got old.

There's more reasons than just her wink Matsumoto, Nel, Halibel, Kukaku, Third unit's vice captain whose name I cant remember... Those are the biggest reasons in more ways than one o,0 Though I know in the anime they "scale down" Halibel for reasons completely unfathomable, and change her costume even. She's not that much on display, but whatever. Yet another nail in the Bleach anime coffin if you ask me haha.

I was hoping they go into detail with the side characters a little more. I was hoping they would build up Chads' and Orihimes' powers. I wanted to see the full strength of them. Instead its all Ichigo , Ichigo, Ichigo. It gets kind of redundant and boring. Sometimes you just need a break from the boring (not fillers though). So I side story or 2 would break up the monotony. But not too many.

If you miss like 3 or 4 episodes in a row... you STILL are not lost at all... it got really annoying after a while.

It does go a lot into the backstories. Not too many chapters ago there was a big thing with Urahara's. Chad's has all been lined out too, Orihime's was basically told early on, but there are only a few details still to be seen.
I have to say though some of the Arrancar in Hueco Mundo are getting lame. There was a stupidly long segment with an okama (drag queen, more or less) character that was so horribly dumb...

I am currently working on Kare Kano, and since I watched the show first... I am like... This is kinda boring LOL!

I liked Bleach at the beginning, and I kept watching until sometime after Ichigo fights with Renji in the soul society (I can't remember exactly where) but most of the fillers are dumb, and the battles kept dragging on and on. It just got so dull to me I couldn't keep watching.

I want more Ishida. He's a little different then the rest of them so I want to see how he trains too. I also noticed the episodes recap a lot so you can almost skip half of them sometimes.

mad I hate the fillers. If you get to Bounto or New Captian arc, skip them altogether.
And the battles (later in the series) are completely ridiculous. Basically, you know whose gonna win (the good guy) and the whole battle is basically one guy yelling, "I'm the biggest ***hole!" and then the other guy yelling back, "No, I'm the biggest ***hole!" And then pulling some trick out of his *** to win the battle. And then the whole battle goes on for 2-4 episodes!
