this is a one on one only thank you character:Nerissa species(sp?):mermaid age:18 years old powers:able to turn into a human. but only until the sunset. she can not go in water or she will turn back. she has power over the sea and can talk to sea creatures. also can turn a person into a mermaid if she or he wishes. picture:  human nerissa:  character: Merrick species:merman age:19 years old Powers: all the powers that Nerissa has but more power full like he can stay as a human until midnight and he can can control any liquid even blood oo how creepy muwahahaha lol but he is a good guy. he is nerissa's brother. picture:  human merrick

as nerissa was taking her dayly swim she noticed a large shadow on the bottom of the ocean floor."hmm what is that?"nerissa said to her self then started to swim to the surface.
"NERISSA! STOP!"
nerissa turned to see who was behind her. it was her older brother merrick
"what do you think you are doing?!?! that is a ship and not just any ship a pirate ship! do you want to be taken away?"merrick yelled as he grabbed his sisters arm and swam home.
"why do they hate us?"she asked.
"just stay away from the upper world"he ordered.
"dont tell me what to do you are not king yet"nerissa yanked her arm away from her brother and swam off towards home.

Cordelia was carrying a barrel on her shoulder as she climbed onto the upper deck which was full of fellow pirates busy working, she placed the barrel down next to a bunch of others and headed for the captains courter
Sean looked at the map and sighed he then stood up and walked outside where he saw Cordelia heading his way "hello Cordelia how are you this fine morning?"
"I'm fine, we've recovered from the storm last night and ready to continue our route" she said and then walked away she walked to the end of the ship and just stared at the water

nerissa was a faster swimmer then her brother she soon was way out of sight. nerissa looked around to see if anyone was coming then she took off for open waters again.
merrick got home then was quickly asked to join his father in the confrence room.
nerissa got close to were she saw the shadow of the ship then fallowed in the direction that it went.

Sean shrugged and walked around making sure everything was in order and decided he felt like a sandwich so he climbed to the lower deck and walked to the kitchen
Cordelia blinked twice when she thought she saw something under the water "oh probably just a dolphin" she said to herself

nerissa stared in awe as she looked up and saw a human"wow my fist sighting"nerissa decided to swim a little closer to the ship to get a better look.
"father have you noticed that nerissa is acting a bit strange?have you told her why we hate humans?"he asked while going through papers on his desk.
his father sighed and put down his pen then turned and looked at him"no my son i have not told her yet"

Cordelia thought she saw something in the water Cordelia leaned over the edge of the ship railing trying to get a better look when she slipped and fell in
Sean heard a scream and looked over to see Cordelia falling off the ship into the blueish green water with a splash

nerissa saw the human fall into the water. at first she hid behind a rock. she peaked around the rock and saw the human struggling and decided to help her. she swam up to her and pulled her to the surface.
merrick sighed."how could you have kept this from her for so long?"
his father shrugged his shoulders"i guess i didnt want her to know how her mother died. i couldnt break her heart"

Cordelia struggled for a bit tell she felt hands push her up to the surface where she stood a big breath and tried to stay above the waves
Sean was just about to jump into the water when he saw a girl push Cordelia to the surface huh i wonder why that girl was in the water he thought to himself untell then he realized what the girl was his eyes grew extremely large in fear "CORDELIA!!!" he yelled

nerissa's bright purple eyes grew when she saw then man. oh wow what a man she tought to her self.

Sean took his shirt off and dove into the water and swam to Cordelia quickly grabbing her and getting back on the boat
Cordelia sat up and coughed trying catch her breath
"Cordelia how could get that close to those vile creatures!" he said sternly but was happy she was okay
"I'm Sorry Sean i slipped" she said "thank you for saving me" she hugged him his warm skin felt good against hers as she was shivering from the cold water

nerissa swam down to the ocean floor and ponderd over what happend
merrick soon caught up to nerissa "what are you doing out this far?"he asked her
"oh nothing just thinkging why daddy hates humans so much i mean what happend with our great grandfather was so long ago"
"come with me nerissa there is something i need to tell you"merrick put his hand out for her to take it then swam with her and explained how pirate had killed their mother.
