This area separates the main building of the school, and the club building, where the club rooms are. There are a few large trees, and many planters filled with assorted species of flowers. This place is good to come and enjoy a peaceful walk, and maybe even skip class, should one be so inclined.

Chris stretched out on the grass and gazed up at the sky. He had successfully infiltrated the school and found Suzumiya like he was ordered. However, he could not bring himself to carry out the mission. His superiors were probably getting impatient with him. "It won't be long before they send someone else after Suzumiya. I don't know what they want her dead for, but whatever the reason is, it can't be good. If someone comes, then I'll just have stop them," Chris says to himself. He continued to stare at the sky and ponder his mission and his past.

So how did it feel to nearly kill God? Koizumi, Being the ESPer he is knew of Chris' orders and knew his morale. There are more of you aren't you? Koizumi asked a question he already knew the answer to.
  I don't think you need reminding, my primary mission is actually to observe Suzumiya-san.

Let me ask you. Why would you hesitate to kill God? Koizumi brought his trademark theories and intelligence to the conversation. Is it your morale? Was it just too difficult? Were you ashamed of what you were going to do then stopped?

"I can't remember anything about my past. Anything and everything that happened to me before they turned me into... whatever I am now. Three years ago, they did this to me. I know I had some sort of life before that." Chris stared at the mechanical gauntlets that were now his hands. "According to the stories the others told me, something happened three years ago and they all say that Suzumiya was at the center of it. Three years ago is when I became what I am now, so maybe Suzumiya may have something to do with it. That's why I couldn't do it. Suzumiya may be the key to finding my past."

This probably might be tough for you to hear but. Koizumi tried to put the bad news nicely. Haruhi has disappeared.

Well at least you're not alone. Koizumi smiled. Ms Nagato and Ms Chu can help defend us. Koizumi smile turned into a less joyful look. I just wish that I could use my powers outside of the closed world. The most I can do is future sight and mind reading while in the normal world.
