SOS Brigade Room

The base of operations for the infamous SOS Brigade. The room has a long table running along its verticle axis. At the end of this table closest to the window, just a few feet away, is a tiny desk with a state-of-the-art computer the was "given" to the Brigade by Computer Club. On the sides of the room are a few bookcases where many different types of books are kept, as well as a few laptops for the other brigade members. In the lower right corner of the room is a rack holding Mikuru Asahina's numerous wardrobes.

Anmaru slowly and quietly walked in the door and sat down next to the window on the far side of the room. Since he joined, the Brigade had gotten a reading chair for him, just across from Yuki's. He sat down, and removed the book he was reading from his coat. He flipped open to the page he was on without the use of a book mark, and continued from where he had left off.

Stasi's cheerful tone was met by Anmaru's constant monotone. "It entails worldwide politics. The topic is not something that overly concerns me, but I find it interesting to learn how foreign governments operate. For example, the United States are currently in the midst of an election that can bring their first African American president into office." Obviously, if the book contained information on Senator Obama, it was just recently published. "Good luck to him" Anmaru added.

Stasi smiled and turned her attention back to the outside. She walked over to the mini range and began to prepare tea. She hummed her favorite song, Bouken Deshou Deshou? as she prepared it swaying to the imaginary beat in her mind.

Anmaru glanced up from his book and watched Stasi. She always seemed so cheerful every time they saw each other. Honestly, he envied that. For as long as he could remember, he could never show emotion. He always had that impassable, serious expression. The only personality he actually had was when he changed and got a temporary fake one. And those only lasted a few hours or so. "Humans are so fortunate" he mumbled as he returned to reading.

Stasi picked up a faint sound of speech. She turned from the teapot and looked to Anmaru who was still reading the book. She shrugged it off, but knew well what he'd said. She continued to prepare the tea as Ms. Asahina usually does. Once the tea was finished she poured a little into two cups. One of the cups she sat on the table for herself and the other she offered to Anmaru.

"Have some?" Stasi smiled looking at Anmaru with bright grey eyes.

"Obliged" Anmaru said as he reached his hand out and carefully brought the cup to himself. He glanced up, and saw Stasi's gray eyes staring back at him. Gray eyes weren't exactly common. But then, he didn't have much room to talk; virtually nobody had violet eyes like his. He raised the cup to his mouth and took a drink. The tea was seconds away from burning his mouth before he lowered it quickly. "Hot" he said not showing any signs of the pain his mouth was in.

Stasi giggled lightly at Anmaru's monotone realization. She went back to her own cup and retrieved it from the table. She then sat down in one of the chairs at the table and crossed her legs as she blew lightly across the top of the cup, causing steam to rise.

She sipped her tea lighty and let out a pleased sigh. Even if Ms. Suzumiya showed up today, she was still content as she was. Stasi glanced back to Anmaru and noticed his violet eyes still scanning the pages of his book. Smiling again, she looked out the window at the beautiful sky and watched that clouds roll by.

"Do not get too comfortable" Anmaru advised while reading. "I assume Suzumiya-san will break the silence any minute now." With that, he continued his book. Haruhi did have a tendancy to kick the door in -literally- and take the brigade on a trip to find strange and unusual things.

Stasi shrugged at Anmaru's statement and replied to him, "Oh well! Even if she does, at least I still had a peaceful moment." With that, she took another sip of tea and continued to watch the clouds.
