The room in which students spend a majority of their time when in school. The room itself consists of just over twenty desks. The desk in the back left is Haruhi Suzumiya's, and the one in front of it, Kyon's. On a side note, this is also what Haruhi will sometimes utilize as a changing room, regardless of who is present.

Stasi figeted in her desk as the clock above the blackboard ticked away. Mehh, class is so boring today. I can't wait until it's over! Stasi thought to herself playing with her pencil. She looked to the back of the class where Haruhi Suzumiya sat and saw her staring blankly out of the window as she does normally. Stasi turned herself from Ms. Suzumiya and attempted to pay attention, but her patience was wearing thin. She began to doodle in her notebook to pass the time.

(It was nothing. I was fulfilling my obligation as a member of the guild to ensure its success)
The seat directly behind Stasi's was Anmaru's. The boy sat quietly reading, his impassable face fixated on his book. In the past, the teachers would often ask him to put away the books he read, threatening that his grades would suffer. However, Anmaru never scored lower than perfect on any assignment, so eventually, they stopped nagging him and pretended like he wasn't even there.
Stasi's fidgeting movements seemed to catch Anmaru's interest, as he glance in her direction every page flip or two.

Stasi got bored with her doodles and put them away for the time being. She ran her fingers through one of her golden brown pigtails and tugged at the white ribbon around it. She continued to move around impatiently in place in anticipation of the bell ringing. Hurry up! she whined to herself.

As if reading her thoughts, Anmaru peered up over the book at her. "Time will elapse at a faster pace if you have something to distract you from the clock." After that, he returned to reading. He flipped another page, his eyes quickly reaching the bottom of each side. Within about a minute's time, Anmaru had gone through over ten pages.

Turning to Anmaru, Stasi said, "I can't help it Anmaru. Teacher is just so boring today." She noticed him flipping pages quickly reading. She wished she could get that involved in a book. She turned to shuffle through her bag to find something to occupy her time. Luckily, she'd found a sudoku puzzle that she'd never finished. This will do nicely!, she thought as she began to challenge her mind.

"I see" Anmaru muttered in his usual monotone. Just as he went back to reading, he saw the sudoku puzzle Stasi was working on. He stared at it for a couple seconds, then recited every missing number quietly to himself so the girl couldn't hear him.
Before the bell rang, the teacher passed out that night's homework. As she placed it on Anmaru's desk, he grabbed a pencil and wrote down every answer with one hand, and continued to flip book pages with the other. She looked at him dumbfounded, as he wasn't even looking at the paper. Anmaru held the paper up to her. "Assignment complete" he muttered.

Stasi sighed at Anmaru and said, "Typical you." She retrieved her homework and proceeded to leave the classroom.

Anmaru quietly got up and gathered everything he had with him. He turned and proceeded to leave the room. The SOS Brigade was meeting today.

Haruhi walks in the classroom, telling her teacher she was on a mission for a month or two. She walks up to her desk giving people a glare as they stared at her. She sat down biting the tip of her pencil as she stares out the window. Bored as Haruhi was looked around the room, then falled alseeo in the middle of class.

Haruhi looks up from her sleeping daze, "H...uh...?" The teacher walks near Haruhi tapping her on the head with the ruler. "C...an yo...u...stop?!" The whole class gasps at her outburst as the teacher screams "YOU STAY AFTER CLASS!!!"
