My favorite type of music is rock.
My favorite music group (right now) is Green Day.
My least favorite types of music are country, rap, hip-hop
My least favorite singer is Avril Lavigne.

I like everything except rap. Right now I'm listening to a happy mixture of:
VNV Nation
KMFDM
Yann Tiersen (Favorite composer. (Did Amelia soundtrack.))
Wolfshiem
It changes on a fairly regular 1 - 2 week time period.

My favorite artist... as of right now... is probably... Muse? I love rock and such, rock and j-rock... j-pop... um... techno, dance... I love so much! I really don't like country music, it gets on my nerves. I don't like rap all that much either, but some of it I don't mind. If you know me, I hate Avril, Hilary Duff, Britney Spears etcetera, etcetera...

I'm pretty eclectic. I am usually into techno/industrial, but I was turned on to a little known band by a friend that performed... ... ... you know, I cannot actually describe their style... trance? hip-hop? electronica?... Trypnotica?!
I also enjoy classic Jazz & Chicago Blues.
And a guilty pleasure for me is "New Country" sweatdrop

JTN I'm pretty eclectic.
