i used to spend a fair amount of time on the site, but i disappeared for a bit and now that i am back i just can't seem to get back into it the way i was before.

and i can't seem to figure out why. makes 'Rori sad. crying

so, being the lazy dud that i am, i'll let you solve the mystery? is it me or Gaia? what changed?

Heh, this place (Gaia) is getting worse. When I first joined, my name was Esp1on (then WaterGoblin, now Your Own Choice).

The forums, while still having spam, had enough decent threads to keep my attention. Now, like many people say, the GD is like the CB. And seems to be the ED is edging towards being a new GD, with lots of the threads on the first page being the sort of stuff that I used to see in the GD.

Not only are the forums getting worse, but Gaia itself has become more commercial. I can't say I knew it when it was just some guy pedalling to keep the computer running (j/k) but even while I've been here, they've added more adverts, more things you have to pay actual money for, changed the marketplace (i.e. 2% tax), and probably otheres I didn't notice.

Pff, I don't balme you for finding it hard to get back into it - Gaia has changed.
