~Anime of the Month~
September is BLEACH!SEPTEMBER IS GONE, BUT WE'LL LEAVE THIS THREAD (LOCKED) SO YOU CAN STILL RELIVE THAT BLEACH EXPERIENCE AND KEEP THE RESOURCES
~What is Anime of the Month and What Does It Mean to Me?~
How does participating in contests, prizes, discussion, fun, watching anime, reading manga, drawing, writing and dressing up sound? Great, right? Well, AotM is something I've set up so the entire guild can participate in anime as a group. I've set up everything in one convienent location to make it easier for us to all enjoy doing what we love doing most, being a fan of anime. There are contests with gold prizes, links to fansites and anime episodes, fanart, fanfiction and a fun little dress up contest. So, watch, read, comment, sing along and have fun. You've got an entire month to enjoy the awesomeness that is BLEACH!

What is This Thing Called BLEACH and Why Choose It?
I chose BLEACH for the guild's first Anime of the Month, mostly because it has the longest running discussion in the Anime Revolution subforum and because there are guild members who love the show enough to have already posted images and fanart.
For those who aren't familiar with BLEACH, here's a little summary:

Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts, but this ability doesn't change his life nearly as much as his close encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper and member of the mysterious Soul Society. While fighting a Hollow, an evil spirit that preys on humans who display psychic energy, Rukia attempts to lend Ichigo some of her powers so that he can save his family; but much to her surprise, Ichigo absorbs every last drop of her energy. Now a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits and, along with Rukia--who is slowly regaining her powers--it's Ichigo's job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace.

This is the place where you get to learn all about this month's BLEACH inspired contests! Sink your teeth into these! The Rules
1. This month dress up your avatar like Ichigo, Rukia, Orihime, Kon or any of your other favorite BLEACH characters.
2. PM me (Ladycrystalite) an Entry Form and you will be entered to win the grand prize! I will not accept TekTeks, you must own all the items used in your entry.
3. You may only enter this contest ONCE!
4. To ensure that no one cheats (and to make it easier for me to make the voting page more uniform), dress your avatar as your character until I PM you back that your entry is accepted! This way I can just save the image of your current avatar.
5. All entries must be recieved by September 30th, so I can open voting!

1st Place: 400 gold and 1st Place Award for your Siggy
2nd Place: 200 gold and 2nd Place Award for your Siggy
3rd Place: 100 gold and 3rd Place Award for your Siggy

~Special Posting Contest~
The Rules
1. At the end of the month, whoever has the most Anime of the Month related posts will be given a special opportunity! (see Prizes for details)
2. Posts from this thread, the BLEACH discussion threads (anime AND manga dated Sept. 1st or later) and the contest voting threads will all be counted.
3. Everyone who uses one of the Anime of the Month banners in their Sigs for at least a week will be given an automatic 5 posts. (Make sure I am aware of it by telling me (in this thread) that you're using it.)
4. Crew is NOT excluded, but my original set up posts will be.
The Prizes
The winner will get to pick November's Anime of the Month! If you choose not to pick, the runner up will get to choose.

If you're wondering why the prizes seem light, it's 'cause all prize gold is coming out of my pocket and my pocket alone. Donations to the guild banker, Banker_Amaya, labeled "Contest Funds Donations" can really beef up the prizes for next month, but make sure to label them as such or the Captain might think it's a regular donation. Thank you!
