Akuma (sentient katana) - Akuma was forged in hellfire and the killing intent of demons(a negative energy), Akuma has the ability to create intense heat and grows stronger with each drop of blood it spills. Akuma is the more unstable voice of the pair.

Magic or Powers: Being a master swordsman, Cain has abilities that far surpass any normal being. Strength, speed, and agility are all off the charts. Cain also has the unique ability to teleport to any location within sight. He can also teleport to any location he has been to in the past.

Another unuiqe ability of his is his ability to actually bond with his katana, to absorb their powers and become one with them. He rarely uses this ability and has yet to explore it's capabilities.

Personality: Cain can come off as very cold and uncaring, centuries of being alive has almost turned his heart to ice. But somehow he always finds a reason to help another person, it is this rarity that has prevented his heart from completely freezing over.

Bio: Nothing is known about Cain even though he has lived for centuries. It seems he has lost any knowledge of his true past and doesn't seem to care much about finding out about it. Cain has been involved with a lot of the history of the isles and has become well known by many of the oldest beings. He has switched sides many times when war has arrived, and has been called an ally and a traitor by many. Cain doesn't care, the only thing that keeps him going now is his unending quest to find a swordsman worth fighting.

Magic or Powers: Takeshi is a master of Blood Magic - He can use his own blood as a weapon and is able to crystalize it to make weapons or defenses. Blood Magic also allows him to regenerate his blood and even the blood of fellow vampires.

Personality: Takeshi is loyal to the royal family and follows his orders to the letter. He has vowed to protect them with his life. Takeshi has the mind of an expert tactician and is always studying his opponent as they fight, in fact he has lead several successful campaigns against the werewolves and is notoriously famous among them.

Bio: Takeshi's past is shrouded in mystery, even the identity of his sire is unknown. What is known is that he has served the royal family for centuries and faithfully. Takeshi rose through the ranks of the royal guard like a brush fire on a dry day and it didn't take long for him to take command. Under his leadership the Royal Guard has become a very elite fighting force, but even his training could not prepare them for the raw power the Lycans had. It was this combination that prevented either side from truly winning.

Weapon/s: An Enchanted Cutlass that has the ability to resist extreme heat, infact it almost seems to feed off of it. There maybe more to this weapon then meets the eye.

Magic or Powers: Logan was cursed with an interesting curse, though it was meant to harm him, the curse backfired. Logan's body is actually made of pure fire, he is able to control this fire at will and in fact he looks like anyone else and can interact with people and objects. He just seems to always have a fever. The only side effect about this curse is the fact that he can't swim at all, his body just seems to lock up when his body touches salt water.

Personality: Captain Logan Bellamy is a very cheery fella, always quick to laughter and always quick to make a joke when the mood is somber. An excellent captain to his crew he would defend them with his life. Watch out if you piss him off though, his temper is like the very fires that burn within him.

Bio: Logan has always wanted to be a pirate since the day he could speak. His family used to trade with the harbor town on Brenton Island, selling farm goods. And every time his father would take him to the local tavern were he would hear stories from the sailors and the pirates there. Logan became fascinated with the life of a pirate, the adventure, the freedom. Then one day while he was out on his small fishing boat, a freak storm hit and washed him out to see. Logan was on the verge of death when a pirate ship found him and the captain nursed him back to health, from that day on Logan learned how to be a pirate; and eventually became a captain of a fine crew. Logan's adventures have become famous among the high seas the one thing that sticks out is his unusual way of pirating. For all of his attacks, for all his hijackings, no one has ever been killed. It seems he goes out of his way not to kill, and his crew follows his lead faithfully. Because no one really wants to get on his bad side....

Magic or Powers: Mitsuru has a very knowledgeable grasp on ice and water magics. In fact he is a genius when it comes to casting spells of these types. Unfortunately that is the only kind of spells he is able to cast. So when faced with a foe who is immune to these type of spells Mitsuru would be in very big trouble. Well that is if it wasn't for his trump card, which is his ability to summon any weapon of historical lore. It isn't magic but an ability he was born with, an ability only members of his family is able to control.

Personality: Mitsuru can seem clumsy in normal everyday interactions. Sometimes his clumsiness has gotten him into quite a bit of trouble. Almost getting him killed a couple of times. The only thing that saves him is his magic. When it comes to magic he is a genius.

Bio: Mitsuru grew up on the Island of Brenton in a family of noble decent. His family is well known for their ability to summon weapons of historical lore and in the past helped his family to rise to the position they are in today. His genius ability to control ice and water magic has separated him from the rest of his family though because non have been able to control magic to such powerful effect as Mitsuru has. This fact has made Mitsuru the golden child of the family and they have tried to exploit his ability to rise even higher in the social ranks of Brenton. This has always made Mitsuru feel more like a tool than a family member. So at the age of 15 Mitsuru left the Island of Brenton in search of adventure and to find his place in life. No he is 17 and has quite a few adventures and experiences under his belt. He is still searching for his purpose but now he is happy everyday he sets out, now that he is no longer a tool of his family. During his travels Mitsuru enrolled in the Jinchi Academy for Magic. Each year he takes a break from his adventures to further his knowledge.

Magic or Powers: Being a master of many forms of martial arts. Raijin has extraordinary abilities. He can channel his spirit energy into many forms of attacks and has the strength to split mountains.

Personality: Raijin keeps to himself and avoids conflict when he can. He prefers to come to a peaceful resolution before resorting to fighting. But when he has to fight he is ruthless. But when the Lycan in him takes over...he becomes a mindless killing machine.

Bio: Raijin is not originally from the Dark Isles. He is a lost traveler from a distant world. In his world he traveled the lands learning the various martial arts he came across either by fighting or training under a teacher. Raijin became quite strong as a result of this. So strong that his enemies resorted to trickery and magic to get rid of him. But their plan backfired. Instead of destroying his body, the magic they used transported him to the Dark Isles. He found himself in a small village on Brenton Island. But no sooner had he taken two steps then something assaulted his mind and body. He tried to drive it out but it was of no use. Something was changing within him. When Raijin came to he found himself caught in a headlock. A man shouting in his ear to calm down. And when his eyes came into focus he cried in horror. The village he was in was destroyed. The people torn apart and ripped to shreds. Looking at his bloodied hands Raijin realized what had happened. But why? The man released Raijin and spoke to him, "I don't know who you are. You are not of my kin. And I can smell evil magics at work. But you had better run now before you are spotted." Raijin hesitated and the man yells at him in a booming voice that sent shivers down his spine, "Go now! I will take the blame! As the King of Lycans I will not fall as easily as a young pup such as yourself!" Raijin doesn't hesitate this time and runs away. Since that day though. Raijin has moments where he blacks out. When he awakes. Something horrible always awaits his eyes. Now he hunts for the reason why this curse afflicts him.
