These are the rules for this guild. Please make my job and my moderators' job easier and obey them. Thank you.
1. This is an advanced literate roleplay. This means that all your in character posts must be in detailed story format. I will not put a minumum word count on this because that just bugs me. Since there is a "writing sample" portion of the application to request to join, I don't think this will be a problem, but I think it bears repeating. Also, it is up to my moderators and me as to whether or not your writing style is up to par.
2. No god-moding. Sometimes people do this accidentally, I know, but trust me...my mods and I can tell when you're doing it on purpose over and over.
3. No character-controlling unless the player has given you specific permission. Otherwise, play your own characters, please.
4. Keep things to gaia's "PG-13" requirements. Nothing to make us all have nightmares. Again, it's up to my mods and me to whether or not you break this rule. We don't want this guild to be deleted because of something like that.
5. Obey gaia's Rules and Regulations and Terms of Service.
6. No bashing other characters. If for whatever reason you are having a difficult time with another player, keep it between yourselves or talk to one of the mods or me. That's what we're here for, let's play nice.
7. The rules and/or goings on of the world/universe in a specific roleplay are completely left up to the author of the roleplay.
8. Please be sure to make it clear what part of your post is in character and what part is out of character. An OOC subforum will be up. If you need to make a small comment on the in character thread of your roleplay, don't make it too long.
9. While this is an advanced literate roleplaying guild...typos are okay. I accept that we are human and that no one is perfect. So, please keep this philosophy and don't start chewing someone out because their posts are less than perfect.
10. To make an rp, one only need to make an OOC thread in the OOC forum, and then start the actual roleplaying on the main forum. That being said, character bios should be posted in the OOC thread for the rpg.
