Maybe this isn't the right sub forum to post this (and sorry I've been making so many topics but there's so much to talk to other ferret owners about! lol)...but I thought this would be a good place to remember and honor what our wonderful animal companions have changed our lives.

Even if they haven't completely changed your life, I'm sure there's something your fuzzies have to done make your day better, or teach you something you thought you already knew.

I know mine make it so I just can't have a bad day. Because just looking at them makes me so happy I can hardly stand it. And even just for that moment no matter what I'm feeling I forget about it and am completely absorbed in their adorableness. lol

I feel so lonely not being able to put my two cents in on ferret epicness. Can I talk about my amazing cat who's cling/sleeping on my leg right now? ;A;

I don't know how much my life has changed since becoming a ferret owner but it sure has added hours of laughter to my everyday life. And my cats are happy and more playful around him too, he's like an exotic playmate that doesn't play by thier rules.

Essence: of course you can talk about your cat! I LOVE cats!! the only reason I actually got a ferret is because my husband is allergic to them.

Me and my husband bought Ivan and Sasha almost three years ago I believe, I can't believe it has been that long already.
I haven't seen much of a difference except we have to spend more money and I worry about them...ALOT. They spend most of their time sleeping in their cage because we can't let them out. So we don't spend that much time with them. I would like to think if we could let them run around the house we would be able to interact with them more and make them a bigger part of our day thought, but until we get a house of our own I don't that will ever happen. <3

My pets have saved my life many, many times. Being hardcore suicidal and chronically depressed for most of my life, my pets were my only things that kept me going, and sane more so than not. In the past, I have many regrets, but I am thankful to each and every one of my pets that I ever had the privilege to share my life with. Bless all of you, friends, and may you Rest in Peace. My pets give me something to live for, something to care for, something to love, something to laugh at, etc. When I'm having a bad day, a snuggle from my pets can lift my spirits and help me calm down. They've also opened the world of 'socializing' up to me at some times. I do not do well with other humans, but when I have my pets with me I do not feel as psychotically uncomfortable. It blows that most places will not allow you to take CLEAN well behaved pets that are not bothering anything or anyone with you, but they allow disgusting filthy screaming ill mannered human babies and children. Ugh. >w
